Hussein Mohammed calls it quits at KTN after 9 years!

Crime and Investigative journalist Hussein Mohammed has hang his working boots at KTN after 9 years of serving the people through the media house.

The journalist who is popularly known for his investigative segment that aired on KTN went on to make the announcement through his Twitter handle; leaving his colleagues and fans surprised at his exit.

Hussein Mohammed went on to post saying;

“It has been a great 9 years at @KTNNewsKE Thank you to my colleagues and to all for the support and goodwill you have shown to me over the years. See you soon InshaAllah,”

As seen on the about tweet, Hussein went on to thank his colleagues for the support and goodwill they have been showing him through the years. However now that it is time to make new moves, Hussein still hopes to see most of his colleagues around.

Fans shocked by journalists exit

Judging from the comments left by his fans, it appears that most were not expecting the sudden exit; and if anything, one had been hoping to catch up with an upcoming show. He wrote;

While another went on to write;

wait…What do you mean?

And lastly one fan went to suggest that he could have been poached by a Somali TV station; however we cannot confirm this for now!

Zari Hassan and Diamond Platnumz have had their share of drama on social media. Actually their break up became trending news in East Africa as many could not believe that she dumped the singer; just when fans were waiting to witness the biggest wedding in East Africa.

Just a few months into the break up and rumor had it that Zari had been asked to vacate the South African house Diamond Platnumz had bought for his kids. At the time Zari Hassan did not talk about the alleged issue but a few months after receiving the notice; Zari packed her bags and moved together with her kids.

When you look at the events it’s easy to say that the rumors claiming she had been kicked out were true; and the fact that she remained silent about the issue went on to confirm what gossip tabloids were reporting concerning her bitter break up with the singer.

However this past weekend, the mother of 5 held a candid interview with Wasafi media where she got an opportunity to address the allegations.

To our surprise, the boss lady denied being kicked out or Diamond Platnumz denying her access to the property. According to Zari Hassan, at the time she was moving – the boss lady had already bought a house for herself; to avoid the silly comments from Diamond Platnumz fans asking her to vacate their house. She said;

I was at a point where I could afford to buy another house when people stared saying ooh toka kwa nyumba yetu, sijui nini. But Baba Tee has never told me to move out of that house. Even now he knows that am renting out that house and am taking rent money, because that house he bought it for the kids. It’s the only property they have in South Africa under his name, so I still get rent money form there.

Before the fame and money Hamisa Mobetto was just another ordinary girl living the usual life; and unlike now, back in high school Mobetto was not so picky in terms of who she dated.

This was proven in a few TBT photos showing the lass back in High school with her number 1 boyfriend. I’m guessing back then, Hamisa Mobetto did not need the make up to look beautiful and for those claim her figure was bought; then the photos might just prove them wrong.

Anyway in the throwback photos which emerge once in a while on social media show Hamisa Mobetto in the company of her boyfriend; and although he does not appear to have any money, the smile on her face confirms she was indeed in love.

However she seems to be smart as she used whatever she has to get where she is; and now Mobetto is ranked among the most successful media personalities we know in East Africa. But also thanks to baby daddy Diamond Platnumz; Hamisa’s brand also grew overnight.

Comedy knows no boundary and to prove this, Terence Creative has given his fans a show they will never forget. However I am confident that most of his male fans are somehow wishing they could  unsee the guy twerk on IG; but hey, it’s all fan and games before the name calling begins.

Well, Terence this afternoon parading ‘Kamami’s’ dancing skills and just when we thought this wouldn’t be so lit; the comedian ended up surprising many with his flawless moves as seen on the video.

He not only knows how to bounce but he coordinates his waist so well one would think he actually does this on a daily basis. To prove this, there are a few male characters in the comment section who could not hold back from confirming that Terence is a good dancer. The fan wrote;

And in less than an hour the insults had already began but judging from how Terence handled them; it appears that he finally grew some thick skin knowing very well fans will always talk – and his account will continue growing.

Socialite Eptysum Akinyi may be popular among video vixens and of course the hungry team mafisi that follows her on social media; and judging from what she shares on her page, I don’t blame the fellas for lusting.

Anyway, about two weeks ago Akinyi went on to share an emotional post where she begged her followers to come through as was drowning in debts. According to the lass, she needed to clear her rent which had left her in a desperate position hence the ‘begging’ video.

Bridget Achieng lied about Reekado Banks performing at the Naifest. Speaking recently during a live session socialite Bridget Achieng went revealed that the reason the Nigerian artists did not perform is because of curfew; however turns out that this was not even near the truth.

This was proven by one blogger, Sindamatiko who had an opportunity to interview Reekado Banks this pas weekend. Speaking for the first time about the Naifest; the Naija singer opened saying that payment was the main reason he did not perform.

According to Reekado his team had not received any payments from the organizers of the event; exposing Bridget Achieng for lying to the hundreds of Kenyans who bought tickets to attend the event. I mean, didn’t most pay to come see the Nigerian superstar perform after months of lockdown and no play?

Esma Platnumz is said to have been hospitalized following  a few complications with her 5 month old pregnancy. From the rumors making rounds on social media; Esma Platnumz is said to have aborted this pregnancy after parting ways with new husband, Msizwa.

According to reports, the lady was hospitalized due to some complications with her pregnancy; but unfortunately she ended up loosing the child. Most of the fans are convinced that Esma aborted Msizwa’s pregnancy just like she did with her exes, Petitman’s baby.

Daddy’s girl! Tiffah breaks down shortly after arriving in SA, demands to see her papa (Video)

Tiffah and brother Nillan left Tanzanian this past weekend; but little did Miss Zari’s Hassan know that her daughter would ask for her papa; barely 24 hours after moving back to their home in South Africa.

As seen on a video shared by mama Danagote, we now have every reason to believe that Tiffah is a daddy’s girl; and the bond between her and Diamond Platnumz remains unfulfilled due to the distance.

Apparently Tiffah woke up late at night and all she could think of is her dad. In the video shared on mama Dangote’s page, Tiffah is heard demanding for her papa; and just when many thought this was scripted the young girl broke down into tears making this serious.

This was however expected judging from the strong bond between Tiffah and her father not forgetting mama Dangote who ‘glues’ them together.

In the past few days we have watched Tiffah and her papa dominate Tanzania to a point of living Bongo journalists looking for words during the random paparazzi interviews. However looking at the video of Tiffah asking for her papa proves that parents sometimes contribute to ruining their kids peace by ‘co parenting.’

Homeboyz radio presenter Mike Wachira calls it quits!

Mike Wachira who is popularly known for his Drive Show on Homeboyz radio presenter has confirmed his departure from the popular radio station. In a detailed post shared on his page, Mike Wachira went on to reveal that Friday, 13 November was his last day at the station; leaving his fans with many questions.

Having worked at the station for 13 years Mike thanked his bosses for the opportunity; not forgetting his colleagues who have kept him going the years. In his post, the radio presenter went on to write saying;

Mike Wachira has left ! Today Friday 13th Nov 2020 marks my last show on @homeboyzradio. 13 years ago HBR took a chance on me and trusted me with responsibility to carry the drive show. Along the way I hosted the show with @iamjeffmote and @kwambox and after 13 years I now pass the mantle to @mrkerrymartin and @iamlotan to carry on the legacy.

Although most of his fans remain disappointed that they will not get to hear Mike and his team entertain them through the radio station; the fella is rumored to have been poached by Radio Africa where he will soon be working.

Singer Diamond Platnumz may have parted ways with baby mama Tanasha Donna; but he remains attached to their son Naseeb Junior who we feel is Diamond Platnumz twin.

Of all the babies he has had with his 3 baby mamas; out of the 4 kids, only Tiffah Dangote and Naseeb Junior came out looking like Diamond Platnumz and his mum. With Tiffah in Dar Es Salaam together with her mum and Nillan; the singer has been spending some quality time with his kids; making him miss the other two Naseen and Dyllan) who are with their mums.

Actress Catherine Kamau is currently working on her unwanted baby fat that has been stuck in her body since conceiving baby K. However after one year of catering for her newborn but now that she is all grown; mummy can spend some time taking care of her body.

As seen in new posts shared by Catherine Kamau we now believe that she is currently in the gym as she aims to shed off the weight she has gained in the past 2 years. Before baby K happened, actress Catherine Kamau had been maintaining her natural figure 8; which she now has to sweat for in order to achieve her goals.

Judging from how long she has taken before hitting the gym; it’s also evident to see that the mum of two prefers putting her kids first like most celebrities who care more about their physical appearance.

Kambua must be feel blessed to have baby Nate and another baby on the way barely 2 years after her son was born. Baby Nate was however a miracle baby who Kambua and husband spent years asking God for; and just like that the couple was blessed with a baby boy.

Nate who is barely a year old will soon be a big brother to his soon to be born sister or brother. Just recently Kambua went on to announce her pregnancy as seen on her Instagram page; where she revealed God had blessed them yet again.

This being a miracle after years of struggling with childlessness; Kambua will now be a mother of two in just a few months and judging from the size of the baby bump, this baby will be here in a few weeks.

Singer Mejja has had a successful year and after years of many underrating his music; the Genge artist finally got his breakthrough and like never before we now appreciate the type of content he gives his fans through his music.

So far Kenyans and the East African region continue to celebrate Mejja; but a few characters here and there have decided to ruin his image by conning fans on social media.

As seen on a new post shared by Mejja, he goes on to distance himself from a post claiming he took Ksh 12,ooo for an interview. As seen on the post shared by Mejja, a guy identified as Kevin Anyango who hosts a podcast claims to have paid Mejja for an interview; but unfortunately he never showed up.

The fella went on to describe Mejja as extremely arrogant, extortionist among other big names… the guy wrote;

“Mama I made it!” Jalang’os beautiful message as he finally graduates from prestigious university

Kiss FM radio host Jalang’o will be graduating today from Daystar university where he has been schooling for the past 3 years.

A while back while celebrating his brother MC Jessy who graduated with a bachelors degree; Jalang’o went on to make it known that Jessy and are the reason he registered at the University back in 2013 – but due to ups and downs, he later joined in 2016 to pursue his degree in community development.

Many moons have passed since my brother MC Jessy told me talent without school is nothing. Today (June 28) the truth just dawned on me when I saw this pic of my brother in a gown!!

With 140 hours to achieve his dreams, Jalang’o promised to make his late father proud; not forgetting to bring some joy to his mum who struggled throughout her whole life to give Jalang’o and siblings a comfortable life.In the post dedicated to MC Jessy, Jalang’o  wrote;

My registration at Daystar is 130607 and you would wonder why if I am 13 why am I in school 6 years later? No, the pressure from Kizito who was the PR manager at Daystar and that of Jessy sent me to register in 2013 yet I joined 3 years later. Jessy kept on pushing me to register and I kept wondering what for? I have a career, I have connections? Why do I need to go to school? Today is another reason! So I just registered so that Jessy would not disturb me.

According to Jalang’o this friend did not quit on him; and for this reason he had no option but to push on hoping he would graduate the same year as MC Jessy, 2019.

Little did I know that after I had registered Jessy would still be after me asking me if I attended class. To cut the long story short, I have already done more than 100hrs in school from a possible 140! 40hrs to go before I wear the same gown! I pushed myself so hard and knew we would graduate together but I have just a few hours to go! I promise you I am next!

And just like that, a year later and Jalango has achieved his dream of graduating with a bachelors degree. It has indeed been a long journey but thanks to his supportive mother, wife and friends; Jalang’o now holds the one certificate he had been yarning for since scoring a C+ back in high school.

Ouch! Kamene Goro opens up about her first heartbreak

Media personality Kamene Goro has seen it all when it comes to love. Just a few years ago the lady was dumped by a South African man she had been seeing for years. The fella apparently changed his mind about settling down with Kamene Goro just a few weeks to their grand wedding.

Of course this did some damage to Miss Kamene Goro who now keeps her relationships on the low. The only boyfriend we saw her introduce to her fans is the South African man who dumped her; but before this turns out that Miss Goro had actually gone through a much more worse situation.

He however moved on and is currently living with his new found love. Judging from their social media posts, it’s clear to see that the two remain in love and since they have no child of their own; hopefully soon he will be welcoming his second born.

Betty Kyallo and her siblings were raised in Ongata Rongai where they mum had initially planned to settle in. However now that all her kids are grown and out on their own; Betty says that her mum has plans of selling the home.

The former news anchor revealed this in a detailed post where she revealed that the Ongata Rongai home is up for sale. In the caption, mama Ivanna went on to reveal that the quarter-acre land is going for Sh14.5 million; but serious buyers can reach out for negotiations.

She went on to add that their 4 bedroom bungalow sits on this land and still there is more space for gardening among other activities. The lass said;

Word making rounds on social media is that Wema Sepetu recently called out Hamisa Mobetto for allegedy discussing Mama Dangote on national radio, Wasafi FM.

According to Wema Sepetu, Hamisa Mobetto was not only wrong to discuss about Diamond Platnumz mum on radio; but also should avoid forcing herself on the lady.

Although this is something that should have been discussed behind closed doors; and since Wema says she is like a big sister to Mobetto, then advising her in private would have been better.

Shortly after the interview, many fans went on to call out Wema Sepetu for back stabbing Hamisa Mobetto; just a few months after going public with their relationship. Wema on the other hand defended herself saying fans took the interview in a negative way; forgetting most heard everything she spoke about Hamisa.

Of course Hamisa Mobetto also happened to come across the interview which had already started circulating on social media. If this did not teach her to keep her circle small; then I don’t know what will because clearly there is low key beef between the two.

Lately Tanzanian sweetheart Wema Sepetu has been openeing up to reveal unknown information about her past relationship with Diamond Platnumz. According to the lady, she was sure that she would one day marry and settle down with the bongo singer; but because of Zari, this never happened.

Speaking during an interview with several media personalities including Juma Lokole; Wema for the first time opened up revealing the blood oath they made back in the day.

The blood oath was to seal their relationship which later broke due to Diamond Platnumz cheating ways. However looking at how the singer has been struggling to settle down for years; could be that the oath is still tying him.

Although she has left all this in the past; Wema Sepetu says that Diamond Platnumz broke her heart into pieces after giving Zari everything he had promised to give her (Wema).

This is because the two met, started a family and an empire just like Wema had always dreamt of; but the sad thing is that another woman was living it for her.

Through the interview, Wema confesses that learning about Zari’s first pregnancy with Diamond  hurt her for a while; but after the baby was born, she slowly started letting go.

Having struggled while coming up in the industry; both Njugush and Celestine have made it their mission to ensure their son lives the good life they never had as children and above all, are investing in his talent while still young.

So far we have come across many hilarious videos of the young boy; and truth is, in the coming years, this young boy will have the entire comedy industry at the palm of his hands.

They say if you’ve got it, flaunt it. And single mum Maureen Waititu certainly knows how to shake her stuff; despite claiming to have two left feet when it comes to dancing.

The curvaceous media personality recently pulled out some of her sexiest dance moves; as she slowly moved her hips and body to Sanaipei Tande’s Mfalme was mapenzi during her dance class recently.

Having struggled to coordinate her dance for years, Ms Waititu recently joined a dance class to get this right even for once; and judging from the video shared on her page, it appears that Maureen is learning quite fast.

Huddah Monroe reveals unknown details about the life of the late Ginimbi

It has indeed been a heavy week for everyone who knew the late millionaire and Versace lover, Ginimbi who passed on this past weekend, Sunday, 8 November. According to reports the late Ginimbi lost control of his Rolls Royce which crashed into a tree and in a few minutes the car was up in flames.

There are those who claim that the car was shot at but we cannot confirm this until the officials release a statement explaining what could have led to the accident.

Huddah who was a close friend of Ginimbi has been mourning her friend for the past few days; and judging from her posts, it’s evident to see she was hurt. Apart from sharing the kind of relationship she shared with the late Ginimbi; just recently she went on to reveal an unknown detail about the fella.

Was a businessman not a womanizer

Although we know nothing much about Ginimbi and his personal life; turns out that Huddah knew him way much better judging from the information she shared.

According to Huddah, many claim that the guy was a womanizer but this is not the case. To her he was a business man whether with women or young ladies; to get to him it had to be through business and not pleasure.

On her post, Huddah wrote;

Man like genius. People might think you were a womanizer. But you were a businessman. You elevated people.

Harmonize is said to be forcing beef between him and former boss, Diamond Platnumz. And what better way to promote a new song now that Zari is around and Diamond Platnumz is making headlines every now and then.

Well, his trick worked just fine and so far we have Ushamba trending at number 1 in Kenya and Tanzania. Of course this was expected especially with how Harmonize came up with a strategic script for the video shoot. As usual nothing about the video was original apart from the scene where he featured Diamond Platnumz look alike in the song.

Although the song is currently at number 1 there are those who feel that Harmonize is trying to use Diamond Platnumz; to get back to where he once was. This is because despite months of maintaining a low profile and some of his projects failing; Harmonize is now trying to resurrect his dying career.

Stop the unnecessary drama

Can’t say that the drama is only benefiting Harmonize but also Diamond Platnumz who has also been quiet for a minute. After seeing what many are saying on social media about the song; Harmonize recently responded in a post where he said;

Don’t take it personal. Nothing but entertainment na naijua kweli. Raha ya utani ufanane na ukweli kidogo!!! Lets go street anthem. Ushamba.

Tanasha Donna apparently is back to her old ways where she ignores what is expected of her  when it comes to her music career. Not once but twice have we heard ‘people’ complain about her lazy character; and unfortunately this is the same move she pulled during the preparations of the Nai Fest.

Having cancelled the event last minute; socialite Bridget Achieng recently revealed that the Miss Donna did not attend any sound check; nor did she communicate with the Nai Fest officials before cancelling the show.

As seen in a question and answer session on Bridget’s page; one fan went on to inquire why Tanasha never showed up to the event – to which Bridget responded by saying;

she changed our deal last minute, hakuja sound check, all of a sudden I saw she wrote cancelled online… But we are good she will be there next time, no bad blood

Although Tanasha already has a big name in the entertainment industry; some of her fans feel that she makes moves that leave her looking unserious when it comes to music.

Not quite sure why but all we can say is that she doesn’t really put in effort like the likes of Nandy, Nadia, Victoria Kimani and other big names in the industry.

Apart from her songs with the Wasafi brothers…Tanasha has not made any big moves that can confirm that she is serious with her music – and now that fans are starting to see this, we cannot tell how long she will survive in this industry.

African’s are not just taking over the music industry but also the movie sector. So far we have had the likes of Khaligraph and Diamond Platnumz representing the East African music internationally; while the likes of the handsome Nick Mutuma and Catherine Kamau shaping the movie industry.

With such talent, you can imagine where the entertainment industry in Africa will be in the next 5 years. But before then, we have a list of top African actors that have left many feeling proud after featuring in an upcoming international movie dubbed Lagos to Oslo.

As you all know the Nigerians have always been ahead in the film industry; and after Nick Mutuma realized this he then worked his up and managed to work with a few. All we can say is that they are as talented as most American and European actors which can easily be seen in the upcoming film.

Greener pastures are only found home

Although it only features Ghanian, Nigerian and European actors; I guess East Africa will be next if we continue pushing and promoting our own films.

Anyway this time around actors like Ama K Abebrese, David Dontoh Akorfa Edjeani Asiedu and Adjetety Anang scooped roles in this emotional film; which put light on the horrible conditions most African youths face while trying to make it in Europe.

But us Africans can put up with quite alot before thinking of giving up; something that  Michael Maponga, Anthony Warren, Richard van Weyden, Boris Glibusic helped by telling this in the story.

The Lagos To Oslo film will be released on November 27th, 2020; and fans across the world can watch it via the online platform Goswas Digital TV  anyway check out the trailer below.

Bridget Achieng speaks after failed ‘Nai Fest 2020’ that left fans stranded, hurt and robbed

Bridget Achieng who is said to be the brain behind Nai Fest has finally opened up about the event; as seen on her social media pages. Having left fans disappointed and artists complaining about payment among others; Bridget Achieng has now taken it upon herself to address the burning issue.

Through her instagram page, the mother of one went on to share a long post where she started off by thanking sponsors, fans and her supporters for showing up on time. According to the lady, the festival wouldn’t have come this far if not for their support all through. She wrote;

First of all I would like to thank God who made it possible to have a successful the Naifest ultimate Brunch. thank goodness it did not rain like last time ???? to our supporters, sponsors and fans we say ” *Asante sana” .* we would not have done it without you. Every edition of the naifest we learn, improve and get better.

Talks of pandemic

Apart from giving thanks, Bridget made it known that her team had ensured to observe all COVID 19 measures; to avoid exposing both fans and artists to the virus. She went on to add;

At the Naifest we are live to the fact that the pandemic is still with us and its a collective effort to flatten the curve and go back to our normal lives. We thank Matter hospital for making sure all the necessary government protocols concerning covid 19 was put in place as we went above and beyond to ensure everyone was safe.
We have demonstrated that it possible to have an event during a pandemic.

Unfortunately the lady did not feel the need to talk about her failed event on the post; but promised to hold a live session where she would reveal why the event failed.

Although we already know that most of the artists were not paid; most fans were hoping that Bridget Achieng explains why this has become a pattern yet fans pay to be present especially with the Nigerian big names around to perform.

As a company we take the safety and security of our supporters , sponsors and fans very seriously and as such all the necessary safety precautions were put however, there were some eventualities that were unforseen and will be addressing that on my Instagram live and the naifest live page at 9pm so stay tuned.

Anyway let us hope that her explanation will finally give us answers; but hey, at the end of the day atleast she pocketed her share…. but what about fans?
