‘Uhunye wa Umo’ checks into rehab after years of struggling with alcoholism (Video)

They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. And after years of drowning in alcohol to a point of no return; we have learnt that the president’s look alike – Uhunye wa Umo has agreed to check himself into a rehab.

This was revealed by independent presenter Carolina Carlz; who had been following up on Mr Gitonga Michael’s story since he started making headlines.

In a detailed interview shared by Ms Carolina Carlz, we understand that Mr Gitonga’s struggle with alcohol has not only affected him alone; but his entire family – adding that he car he was gifted just a few months ago is in a bad shape due to his recklessness.

Uhunye in rehab

However just like other alcoholics – Mr Gitonga couldn’t have done this on his own; without being pushed for the better.

This is where Serenity rehab came in handy as they allowed – Uhunye wa Umo to check into their habilitation center earlier today. From Carlz post, we understand that Uhunye was accompanied by his wife Angelica and friend, Matheri.

To announce the good news, Carolina went on to write;

Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know that after highlighted the story of Uhunye wa Umo, Michael Gitonga, he agreed to rehab center called serenity. He reported today supported by his wife Angelica & friend Matheri. We hope for the best.

Ringtone has been insulting many celebrities for the last few months; and in starting to believe that this is the only way he gets to make headlines – especially now that he has no new project to push on social media.

In a post shared on his page on Tuesday, 16th March the controversial gospel singer is seen insulting rapper Bamboo; a renowned artist from back in the day – but is now a preacher.

Ringtone’s insults however came hours after Bamboo’s candid interview with Mseto East Africa; where he opened up about his wife being a witch who died and came back to life. Of course this is a story many have been questioning – but at the same cannot judge as the story teller (Bamboo) claims to have witnessed how the dark powers work.

Ringtone’s zero chills character

Being one who has dealt with conmen and has seen all types of ‘preachers’ with different tales of how the ‘dark powers’ work; Ringtone now claims that Bamboo is nothing but a fake preacher.

Through his Instagram page, the controversial singer went on tell off Bamboo saying;

Prophet Lovy Longomba’s surprising confession about his twin brother’s death

The death of Christian Longomba came as a big blow to those who knew him; and of course his peers in Kenya who saw him – raise in the entertainment industry through his music.

Truth is, Christian was a gifted man who sang beautifully leaving many fans cramming his lyrics; and till date the Longomba music long lives in most nightclubs and we love it.

Any speaking about his twin brother’s demise – prophet Lovy Longomba says that he believes his brother is now resting in peace. This is after a long battle with a brain tumor (none cancerous) that saw his health deteriorate over the years.

My brother fought for a long time. Sometimes to know things prophetically, is not always the best, but God knows.

God told me

Having changed his lifestyle since leaving Kenya, former singer Lovy started a ministry which has grown over the years; and now the young father has turned into a prophet.

Just to show how much his faith has grown Prophet Lovy says God had prepared early enough about his brother’s death. Speaking during a live session on his gram – the man of God went on to reveal that God had already told him Christian would rest on the day he died, Saturday 13 March.

Speaking about this, the minister of the word said;

“On the day that he was leaving, God spoke to me and told me, ‘Christian is leaving today.’ I tried everything, spiritually, physically, and materially to keep him here, but man, when God speaks, God speaks and there is nothing you can do about it and it is always for the better. Even in this, Jesus is still glorified,”

Size 8 has come from far and we all know this. After clearing High school from State House girls, the lass ventured into music and this how we got to know her.

Back in 2011 she released her one and only hit song Shamba Boy that saw make money like never before. But with such a hyped personality who wouldn’t have loved her?

However with time she slowly started changing and after meeting husband Sammy Muraya aka DJ Mo she decided to quit the secular music industry.

Change is inevitable

Theough her IG page, Size 8 shared a photo from her past to which she captioned;

I look at this picture and I see the LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST!! THE RECKLESS LOVE OF GOD!! I dont deserve His love neither did I earn it He just forgave me yet I was one of the chief of sinners.

Now that she is a Christian and a minister of the word; Size 8 says that she is grateful for the changes she made not forgetting the mistakes that drew her closer to her maker. She went on to say;

“No wall God wont tear down lie He wont bring down coming after me. No mountain He wont bring down , shadow He wont light up coming after me.” My God loved me even before I love Him. What manner of grace is this??? I am just in tears that He loves me this much. Whatever I did in my past I confessed and He has forgotten and forgiven me. And now God lifts me up to sing for Him.

In conclusion, Mrs Muraya went on to write saying;

Kabi Wa Jesus refuses to undergo DNA test to prove if he fathered cousin’s 7 year old daughter

Kabi Wa Jesus is said to have fathered his cousin’s 7 year old daughter; but now that the public knows what he allegedly did in the past – the man of God has refused to undergo a DNA test.

According to sources close to blogger Edgar Obare – The Wa Jesus family man claims that he cannot afford a paternity test; when it only costs Ksh 20,000 – which of course Kabi can raise even with the help of friends.

However, refusing to undergo the paternity test only proves that he could be hiding something; but after Edgar mentioned that Kabi’s son looks like Abby- then it’s only fair to conclude that the allegations are true.

Child support

From what we have learnt is that the DNA test was to determine whether Kabi; should pay for child support or not.

Former Tahidi High Principal ’Miss Morgan’ opens up about struggle with alcoholism

Back in the day, Tahidi High was the Vioja Mahakamani for the 90’s baby. It was fun, entertaining and above all made High school look like a walk in the park.

However, everything that has a beginning also had an end and after years of airing on Citizen TV; the popular show was cancelled – forcing the actors to find refuge elsewhere.

However what many didn’t know is that after the cancellation – most of the actors that is OJ, Omosh, Miss Morgan among others were left jobless and depressed.

Speaking recently during an interview, Ms Morgan says she walked right into depression; after having to change her lifestyle now that the money she was used to was no where to be found.

With stress hitting her from all angles, the lady found solace in alcohol; and that is when her worst nightmare came to life.

I went through depression. and depression can take you to alcohol. Some other people will just hide in the Christian faith. I embraced alcoholism at some point but luckily I had a strong family and friends who noticed what was happening to me,”

Self esteem issues

With alcohol deep in her system, the lady says she let herself go hence the massive weight gain; that led to yet another problem of body insecurities. She went on to say,

When I was down there, I was trying to lose weight. When I lost myself, I started losing self-esteem. You’re getting broke because you’re mismanaging your finances. I knew I could get out, but I didn’t know how.

But through it all, she managed to get back on her feet and is currently making headlines through new TV series.

I mean, for some reason she decided to show off her dancing skills; but all I know is that she either needs classes to work on whining her waist or needs to sheds off the baby fat before showing us how she gets down.

This past weekend, Joe Muchiri who is well known media personality; and a popular drunk (according to the comments) was caught up in a heated argument following a post shared by one Blakaende.

In the post – the popular ‘pastor T’ is heard condemning Eric Omondi for Wife Material season 2; and just like everyone else, Pastor T felt that Eric not only using these women as objects but was openly embarrassing them for his own good.

I bet there is nothing that hurts most than losing a loved one; and in this case, Lovy Logomba is still learning to come into terms that his twin brother Christian- is no more.

This past weekend we learnt that Christian Longomba (who made the best duo with his twin brother) passed away following some complications with a brain tumor he had been battling for years.

As seen on a post shared on Saturday, 13 March; former singer Lovy who is now a prophet confirmed that his twin brother was no more as he wrote;

Christian Hulu Longomba (June 30 1984-March 13 2021), son of Lovy Longomba Sr and Mado Zaina made his transition to Heaven, Saturday morning in Los Angeles, CA from a long-suffered illness.

Christian was well-loved and we celebrate his gifts and talents that he shared with the entire world. With great love and appreciation for the support and love shown to Christian by fans, family and friends, we kindly ask for privacy during this time.God bless you all, Longomba family

Battle with Cancer

According to reports the late Christian Longomba had been battling with the recurring brain tumor for years; but unfortunately lost the battle in 2021.

His death has however left Lovy feeling the worst possible feeling; now that he has been permanently separated with his twin brother. The man of God broke down in a detailed post where he confessed losing Christian has left him empty; and being the first time he has ever beeen separated with his twin – he still can’t believe it’s true.

One of his posts read;

For the first time in my life I am separated from Christian…this hurts big time.

And if you thought men don’t cry even when it hurts the most; the young prophet was not shy to talk about his pain as he wrote;

This is the most I have ever cried in my life

While everyone is busy trying to recover from the pandemic and all the losses families have faced; one house girl identified as Gladys Naliaka Nalianya has left Mama Maina in tears after allegedly stabbing her two boys.

The story making rounds on social media claims that the 24 year old house help stabbed the two boys; leaving them for dead as she escaped moments after the incident.

Although details about the stabbings are yet to be explained well; Mama Maina’s neighbor is heard pleading to everyone who can help find the house who probably fled back to her villahe or could have been rehired somewhere else.

Eric Omondi arrested over ‘Wife Material season 2’

Comedian Eric Omondi was arrested this afternoon following his new show dubbed Wife Material.

As seen on a statement shared by Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) – we understand that the comedian is being accused of producing and distributing unauthorized ‘Wife Material’ films; without the approval of the KFCB.

The statement went on to claim that the show not only violated the KFCB laws; but promoted unlawful content that would negatively influence the youth forcing the DCI to step in.

For this reason; the comedian who had not been approved by the KFCB will now be arraigned in court for contravening the law. The post read to say;

The said comedian will be arraigned in court for contravening the law…

The end of Wife material?

Judging from how serious the press release sounds; we cannot help but wonder whether this will be the end of Wife Material. This is after the post went on to read;

The Board will take all possible legal means to curb production and exhibition of unauthorized films on any platform meant for public exhibition. Protection of children from exposure to harmful content remains our core mandate.

For any other artists looking to come up with such shows, the KFCB had this to say;

Going through her IG page can literally drive you into depression but thanks to new photos shared a while back; fans have realized that she also has her own struggles and is not as perfect as they had assumed.

Well this is after Anerlisa Muigai changed her hair do to try something new but unfortunately her hairstylist this time around failed her badly. I mean badly. As seen on the photos Anerlisa appears older than her usual self and something about her body language says she was not comfortable taking the photos.

Light skinned politician Babu Owino is not loved by many; but the sad part is that he doesn’t really care. Even after the DJ Evolve incident, Babu Owino maintained his ego till date; and despite this being considered as a first degree attempted murder case – he remains free.

Away from that, we all know that Babu Owino has a beautiful family he goes home to after a whole day of playing politician. Just like most prominent people in Kenya, Mr Babu rarely puts his family on social media display; hence making it hard for bloggers to write anything about them.

Truth is, we all love Annitah Raey because she keeps it real. Her radio fans have all moved to her new YouTube channel where she shares some of her shocking; embarrassing and educative life lessons she has come across over the years.

Unlike other women, Annitah Raey is not shy to admit that she has dated married men and even younger ones than her; but it is life – it happens!

In one of her videos shared a while back – the mother of two opened up about about her experience of falling in love with a married man.

But before that – I’m pretty sure Annitah would like fans to know that; ‘bwana ya mtu sio wako’ or in short never fall in love with a married man.

Speaks about painful experience

According to the lady, a few years back she met a young man ~~4 years younger~~ and just like any other love story – boy meets girl and falls in love.

Although Annitah Raey says her intentions were not to fall in love with this guy; she somehow found herself in this awkward situationship that led to a real heartbreak.

Narrating how she ended up in love with the guy – Ms Annitah says that it happened at a time she needed some affection and attention. Without realizing it, the butterflies she was having slowly graduated into real feelings; and just like that Annitah fell in love with another woman’s man.

To prove how serious things were between them: the former presenter says they used to hangout 3 times a week not knowing that this is because the young man was having issues with the wife.

However things got real after Annitah learnt that the guy was just using her to forget his wife; but after he got her (wife) back – Annitah was then forced to deal with a heartbreak she could have avoided from the word go.

“My hubby has never taken alcohol” Vera Sidika opens up about her perfect husband

Vera Sidika must be proud of her new husband, Brown Mauzo since she can’t seem to shut up about him. These days the former socialite is living the ‘my hubby this… my hubby that’ lifestyle; but good thing is that the online laws seem to be enjoying this.

Well recently the former socialite cum business lady held a candid QnA session with fans; enabling them to ask some of the burning questions they have been carrying around about Ms Vera.

Apart from most asking whether she is pregnant; some wanted information on Brown Mauzo who remains on the low for reasons only known to him.

However thanks to Vera Sidika aka Mrs Mauzo we now understand that Brown Mauzo is not a man who likes to engage in drinking games. This is because the young man has apparently ~~never taken alcohol his entire life~~; and according to Vera, she also doesn’t take as much either.

Through a post shared on her page, Vera opened up saying;

my house mini bar is for my guests btw! They are the ones who enjoy it more. I rarely drink when I do it’s very little and my hubby tasted alcohol in his life.

Not quite sure how true this is considering the kind of lifestyle these celebrities live for the society or rather social media. However if indeed he doesn’t drink, then I guess he is no different from the likes of King Kaka and the OG.

Saumu Mbuvi discloses heartbreaking details about the birth of youngest daughter with ex, Senator Anwar Loitiptip

Mothers experience some of the worst moments when their own children are ill. It’s heartbreaking, scary and above all it leaves a person worried about their young one; and no one knows this best than Saumu Mbuvi and gospel singer Size 8.

This is because they have both watched their newborns get admitted at the NICU barely hours after giving birth. So far we all know how Size 8 fought for her son to stay alive; and thanks to a new post by Saumu Mbuvi we understand that they both went through the same experience.

Well, as Saumu daughter turns one – the young mum opened up revealing one of the scariest experience she had with her baby gorl. According to the lady – back when baby was born, she was forced to be admitted at the NICU since she couldn’t breath on her own.

Through her IG page, Saumu narrated this heartbreaking experience in a detailed post where she wrote;

I remember when I have birth to this angel, she went direct to NICU since she couldn’t breathe well and I was just out of theatre…it really drained me emotionally seeing my baby survive on oxygen, she couldn’t even breastfeed.

Although most newborns tend to have complications, Saumu says her baby girl was real fighter as she was discharged from NICU after 4 days. She went on to add;

But she was a fighter four days later she was out of NICU and I was given my baby back. She is such a fighter like mummy. I thank God for you. Love you baby girl. Happy birthday love.

This is after the 4 year old got to see Diana Marua without makeup and the wigs she often steps out wearing. Of course with no foundation to conceal the blemishes, lipstick and the soft long hair Mueni is used to seeing on Diana; the young girl couldn’t help but see the ‘ugliness’ Marua has in her natural looks.

Well of course being a mum of 3 already – Diana Marua understands how a child’s mind works; and being the best mum she can be to Bahati’s kids – the lass went on to engage the conversation with Mueni saying;

When I put on makeup and wear a wig I look so nice? So are you trying to say I am ugly?

To which Mueni responded by nodding her head for a yes answer. But of course we do understand that she did not mean it. Seeing how Diana acts around this young baby girl proves that not all step mums are evil like in the movies.

Ouch! Hamisa Mobetto responds to Wasafi FM presenter claiming she will give birth to a dog or hyena (Video)

Hamisa Mobetto has had her share of mistakes in the past; but just like everyone else, she is human.

However a few here and there keep hanging on to her past mistakes hence throwing quite hurtful insults to the socialite; and truth is this is getting out of hand in the name of loyalty to the WCB boss!

This past weekend a popular Wasafi FM radio host was heard claiming; that the only thing Hamisa can conceive for her rich boyfriend is a hyena if not a dog.

Baba Levo who doubles up as an artists; and a close friend of Diamond Platnumz shamelessly trolled Hamisa Mobetto without mincing his words that were caught on camera. He said,

Mimi nasema, Freddy na Hamisa wakipata mimba watazaa mwehu ama mbwa (All I am saying is that – if Freddy and Hamisa conceived, then they would either have a hyena or a dog for a child)

Of course we understand that the guy owes Diamond Platnumz some loyalty; but hey – why stoop so low to abusing another man’s woman: especially now that she has found some happiness after the miserable life she went through with Diamond Platnumz?
