Willis Raburu forced to explain why he cancelled lavish birthday

Willis Raburu was supposed to hold a lavish birthday event for April babies this past weekend; but unfortunately, this did not happen following an illness that forced him to cancel his attendance at the special event set to happen at Garage Thika.

According to Willis Raburu he has been battling a stomach infection that left him weak and unable to function. The celebrated media personality made this known in a detailed post shared on his social media pages saying;

This evening I was slated to host April Babies party along side industry greats and many of my friends at Garage Thika. Unfortunately this evening a stomach infection began that has left me feeling weak and unable to function at 100%. I would do anything for my fans, many of who had already turned up and sent me messages saying they were ready for me.

Well for anyone who understands how stomach infections work or better yet – has experienced the challenges it comes with…I bet y’all can understand why Willis Raburu couldn’t risk leaving home, right?

On the same statement, Raburu apologizes to the guests and fans who had been looking forward to the event.

I am seeking medical help and I’m sure it will blow away and I’ll be back on my feet in no time.

Business lady Sara Kabu is not happy with husband Simon Kabu who she claims is not only cheating on her but recently decided to take their children away from her. Well, in case you’re wondering – the rich too have marital issues.

So word making rounds on social media is that Sara Kabu and hubby have been having low key problem; and despite trying to hide this from their online family – word finally got out.

This was revealed by Mpasho who recently got a screenshot from Sarah Kabu’s WhatsApp’s story talking about the issues she’s been facing in her home.

Wah… this is Kenya! Again money has changed hands and my kids have been handed over to strangers plus their father… can someone wake me up I am not dreaming…

From what she wrote, Sarah claims to be done with the marriage but husband has been forcing to stay in it simply because of their image in the society. However this will not work for her.

Accuses police of helping husband Kidnap her kids

If what Sarah Kabu alleged is true, then you can only imagine how broken she is; hence her statement where she also accuses the police of helping Simon Kabu take their kids away, leaving her helpless.

Bensoul’s baby mama is clearly not happy with her unborn baby’s dad – that is judging from the posts shared on social media. Okay okay, for those who don’t know… word making rounds in town is that Bensoul is about to become a dad.

Yes, the 24 year old singer has a baby on the way, with one of his former flings. From what we’ve heard is that the pregnant girl is from Mombasa – and the pregnancy unfortunately was a result of a one nightstand; however the girl, Tiffany Muikamba claims her relationship with Bensol was never a one nightstand as alleged – but all in all the good thing is that he promised to take responsibility of the unborn baby.

A few weeks down the line and the two are back to making headlines – thanks to the amount of shade they keep throwing at each other. Well from what we’ve seen is that Bensol and his girlfriend, Noni Gathoni can’t stop choking ~~baby mama~~ haters with their unbreakable love.

Size 8 opens up on health condition that left her giving up on life

Preacher Size 8 has always had issues with her blood pressure. From what we’ve learnt is that the preacher developed hypertension from her pregnancy and what’s more surprising is that she was only 6 weeks pregnant with daughter, Ladasha Wambo.

Since 2015 January I have had health issues and I never shared that side of my life. I remember I once collapsed in town and I was told my pressure was too high.

Since then, Size 8 has been on BP medication which basically helps her stay alive; but so far she’s had a couple of episodes proving otherwise. A few weeks ago she was rushed to hospital following another hypertension episode that she claims left her giving up on life. Speaking through a new video shared on their YouTube channel, Size 8 said;

I have been on medication for a long time and I have been in and out of the hospital. This time it was serious as I was slipping into depression and I was almost giving up. I was tired of fighting and that is partly why I stopped putting up posts on social media.

20 year old Georgina Njenga opens up about pregnancy says, “It was not supposed to be this soon”

Georgina Njenga and ex Kids TV star Baha from Machachari are pregnant with their first child; and from their YouTube Chanel, we want to believe that they’re already in the second trimester.

Their pregnancy however came as a big surprise especially after seeing how well they were doing with their show. But again, adding a new member to their small family isn’t so bad – after all – they’re both last borns who never got to experience life with younger siblings.

Speaking to fans in recent QnA session – Georgina Njenga revealed that she is ready for the baby; however this is not how she had planned for it. For her, having a baby at 20 years felt a bit ‘too soon‘ but all in all both her and Tyler are ready.

We have talked about having babies but it was not supposed to be this soon but we also had conversations that if ever happened we will be okay with having one

Earlier this morning rumor has it that Saumu Mbuvi was accusing her ex husband, Senator Anwar and his girlfriend Aeedah Bambi of hiring goons to beat her up during her birthday party at a certain popular joint.

From what Saumu says is that she was beaten by Aeedah herself with the help of close friends who left her bleeding. To prove this, the lass shared a bloody photo showing her fingers and I’m guessing the injury suffered was from a broken acrylic nail.

However we now have Aeedah Bambi’s side of the story and according to the lady – nothing of that sort happened. Actually, Aeedah says she has no memory of bumping into Saumu at the club nor was there a confrontation between the two of them.

In her defense, the mother of one says even the CCTV cameras at the club don’t show any fight between these women; which leaves her wondering why Saumu would accuse her of assault.

Akothee shares reasons as to why she has no female friends

Singer Akothee is not shy to admit that she is a loner. Unlike your usual female celebrities rolling around in group of friends – Akothee says she likes to roll solo and this is because she understands how friendships between females work.

Well – speaking from previous experience, the singer revealed that having female friends is a bomb; it can be fetal, unpredictable and once it goes off – things just become ugly. Doubting her? Ask Huddah what happened after she started making more money than her friends…they poisoned her.

Saumu Mbuvi is back to attacking her baby daddy Senator Anwar on social media; and this time around she claims ex husband had his girlfriend attack her at popular joint where she went out to celebrate her birthday.

This was revealed by Saumu in a post shared on her Instagram page exposing both Anwar and Aeedah Bambi for allegedly attacking her. On the post, Saumu parades her bloody index finger and middle finger probably hurt from the attack. Captioning the post she wrote;

Anwar shame on you!!! Sending your woman and her friends to beat me up on my birthday, leave me in peace.

The allegations made by Saumu come a few weeks after she exposed him for neglecting his daughter; adding that he had never been a father to their girl since he doesn’t know what and how she survives especially being a minor.

Milly Wa Jesus is so excited to have a baby girl on the way and so is daddy, Kabi wa Jesus who had earlier been rooting for a baby boy. The excited couple announced the news through their YouTube channel – in a well documented video from their gender reveal party.

Judging from the video, we understand this was ceremony only saw close friends and family attend; and unlike other gender reveal parties – the couple had their guests shop from their baby shop – instead of coming with gifts from other stores….and mmh impressive.

On the same video, the couple shares a clip from a checkup session with Milly gynecologist and as they converse – Kabi makes it known that he really wants a boy; now that he has two girls in his life, Milly and daughter Abby.

Popular DJ cries foul after police rough him up at work

Popular disc jockey Michael Ndung’u, popularly known as DJ Fully Focus, is the latest entertainer to be roughed up by authorities this past weekend while performing at a certain club in the city.

From the tweets he shared, DJ Fully Focus says the police apparently arrested him for playing loud music; something he believes he had no control over. Taking this to his social media pages, Fully Focus narrated his experience with police saying;

Last night I was arrested while in the middle of my set for “playing loud music in a club”. I was confused & angered coz it was abrupt w/ no warning & taken aggressively like I was a criminal

He went further to state that this was a form of harassment and disrespect to entertainers trying to make an honest living. According to him, this should be a time when sociaety understands that everyone is trying to bounce back following the economic struggles caused during the pandemic period.

It seems DJs in this country are treated like trash yet in good & bad times that’s who everyone relies on to keep them sane. When the world shut down it was via live streams & mixes. When the world opened it’s via clubs, bars & concerts. Most get paid peanuts & now this? NO.

From the other tweets, we also understand understand that Fully Focus was arrested alongside other DJs on that fateful Saturday but luckily we’re all released after a hour.

However he says instead of heading straight home, Fully Focus says he went back to finish up his session – just to get rid of the bad energy.

I was released an hr later & went from the cell straight to the club to finish my set. I didn’t want to go home w/ that energy & when I got back on, the cheers from those who stayed gave me joy & I finished my assignment. I’m grateful I went home safe but the other DJs who were also arrested from other clubs didn’t & that is not right, this needs to change for good.

Socialite Pendo shares her side of the story, reveals why sponsor ditched her with Ksh. 208,000 hotel bill

Former socialite Pendo who doubles up as an artist had a tough 2020 following hotel drama in the coast region where her man left her with a Ksh. 208,000 hotel – forcing her to be arraigned in court.

Well, for those who don’t remember – back in 2020 Pendo found herself in trouble with the authorities after failing to pay hotel bill at English Point Marina. With the case in court, Pendo wasn’t allowed to speak on it until the bill was settled – and finally her man managed to clear it.

However what many don’t know is Pendo’s side of the story – on how she found herself in such a situation. But, speaking to Buzz central recently, Pendo opened for the first revealing how her prominent man (at the time) booked in an expensive hotel – only for him not to show up due to ‘business.’

I was seeing someone and this someone, booked a flight for me and my friend and booked us to the apartment complex. He was supposed to join us but said he couldn’t make it as he was busy. He said he could not make it due to ‘Business’.

Pendo in court after mubaba claims he is broke

Having had an on and off payment plan for the hotel – Pendo says this the bill accumulated in days; hence putting pressure on Pendo and her mubaba who at the time was having a few issues with his business.

The balance that he was about to settle so we leave, he said he did not have it and that he needed to talk to the hotel. The hotel said they could not let us go. So the bill continued to accumulate. The more he paid, the more we were being held since the bill was not cleared.

With no money to pay the bill, Pendo was then taken to court but was later released on her on a Sh100k bond or alternative cash bail of Sh35k. Probably because the said Mubaba was known and of course couldn’t dodge with the remaining bill.

However, when asked why she never revealed the identity of the man who sponsoring her stay at the beach hotel, Pendo said;

I am a good person, he is a prominent business person and I did not want to disappear because of 200k.

While I was in court, he didn’t care coz the worst I could do was mention his name.

They say motherhood is a full time job and I’m pretty sure Ivy Namu now understands what that means not forgetting what it takes to be a mum.

I’ve heard that it’s tough – there are days that include sleepless nights, fatigue and worse – tending to a sick baby and all you can rely on medication alone. Well, Ivy Namu and partner Willis Raburu have not been having it easy after their son fell ill recently.

According to the new mum – despite all the advise she’s gathered from fellow mums and even her own mum – nothing would have ever prepared her on how to handle a sick baby.

Nothing could’ve prepared me for how intense it is to have a sick baby.

Helpless

In a detailed post shared on her Instagram page, Namu narrated her experience with a sick baby saying;

I feel so sorry for him and helpless. And I am also very tired. He is tired of the meds but hatuna otherwise. I hope today is even better than the last couple of days. For now it’s lots of cuddles & TLC for my little one.

But the good thing is that baby is responding well to his medications; meaning this will be over even before Ivy Namu and Willis Raburu realize it.

New mum in town Nadia Mukami not ready to sacrifice career for motherhood

Singer Nadia Mukami says she is not ready to give up on her successful career just to stay home and play mummy/wifey because society expects this from her.

Well, times have changed and so have women which explains Nadia Mukami’s reasons for not wanting to step down from her musical thrown – just to settle as a mum.

The lady made this known in a new post shared on her gram talking about a new YouTube series based on her pregnancy journey. From what she says is that she refuses to let society push her to becoming something she is not; that is judging from what she seen from female celebrities in the Kenyan music industry.

When you are a female artist, society feels the need to make personal choices on when you need to settle down.

Gender equality still a problem

According to Nadia Mukami, having a child or settling down with man should not be a reason for any woman to quit her career or business. For this reason, Nadia Mukami promised she would not be anything near the likes of Avril, Amani, Marya, Sosuun among others who quit music after starting a family with their spouses.

As woman I want both the career, family & kids. A woman shouldn’t have to choose one, she can have both.I am breaking barriers. No dream should die for the sake of gender.

But apart from that, Nadia says that more than ever – she now appreciates pregnancy or rather the art of motherhood since it’s one of the scariest but at the same bravest experience she has ever had.

Tyler Mbaya shares experience with pregnant girlfriend, says it’s one tough journey

Their have been mixed feelings about Georgina Njenga and Tyler Mbaya announcing their pregnancy. Probably because most people feel that they’re too young – but again, they seem to understand what they’re doing – so why not?

Anyway the two announced their pregnancy by sharing a series of baby bump photos leaving many surprised. They also happened to share a detailed video on Georgina’s YouTube talking about their unborn baby; and of course how the lady learnt about the pregnancy.

From what Georgina says is that she may have gotten pregnant after her last period in September 2021…meaning she could or rather is 6 to 7 months pregnant so far but the journey has been one emotional roller coaster making her react to everything with tears.

This being the first time Georgina and Tyler are experiencing pregnancy for the first time; actor Tyler says his woman’s pregnancy journey has had him on toes since the first trimester.

For him life changed in a way that he had to learn the importance of patience; especially with the mood swings and tantrums from his pregnant 20 year old girlfriend. Speaking about this on their YouTube channel, Tyler said:

Baha aka Tyler Mbaya is about to become a dad for the first time and this was confirmed by both him and YouTuber girlfriend, Georgina Njenga.

The excited couple shared the news through Instagram with a series of baby bump photos, which they Tyler Mbaya captioned;

KRG the Don might be making headlines on most tabloids -but so is his wife, who has so far been linked to Mbogi Genje – and from my understand also happens to run a successful boutique somewhere in Nairobi.

Bahati tearfully recounts how his mum passed on in the house

Singer Bahati who is currently vying for the mathare parliamentary seat has opened up about his mum’s death for the first time; and believe me when I say – it was heartbreaking… nothing that a 6 year old child should witness.

Well, turns out that Bahati lost his mum back when he was only 6 years – a small boy just about to join class 1 and he loses his mum on Christmas Day. Can life get any worse?

Any for those who have been wondering about Bahati’s past – allow me to narrate his story that is judging from his latest interview with Wifey, Diana Marua on her show dubbed tell-all. Speaking about his painful past, Bahati said;

My mum and dad lived in Huruma, I have seen the good and bad times of Mathare. I remember I was six years old when I lost my mum. I was going to class one…it was on Christmas day. I think losing a mum changes everything. She was my only source of hope and the other alternative was to be left upcountry after her burial.

Alone but Hopefull

As a young boy with no mum to depend on, Bahati said his life flipped from bad to worse. Who was he going to depend on? How was life going to be bearable without the woman that made everything better even during hard and bad times?

This is a question that lingered in his mind for long but through it all; Bahati says he was determined to get back to the city, hoping that one day things would look up for him.

So after the burial, I cried hard so I wouldn’t be left in Ukambani. I entered the pick-up that ferried my mother’s body to Makueni to come back to Nairobi. I had to come to the city and try my luck.

According to Bahati, he lost his mum due to lack of proper health care – something that often happens in the ghetto areas where getting Medicare is not priority but a luxury to those who can afford.

And according to Bahati, this is something his mum couldn’t access due to poverty; but now that he wants to join politics – probably life might just change for people in the Mathare area.

Singer Akothee has always been one to publicize her family on social media and after years of not giving her kids privacy; Akothee now says she wishes, she knew the kind of damage she was exposing her children to.

Well, having exposed her 5 kids to the online life, Akothee’s children have not only been trolled but abused, hated/picked on; and can no longer live life as other normal kids enjoying privacy even in public.

Pregnant Jackie Matubia talks about her fear of childbirth days to delivering second child

Actress Jackie Matubia popularly for her role on Zora is heavily pregnant with her second child; 7 years after she had her first child, Zari with ex husband. As the story goes, baby came and as soon as they started settling in a family of 3 – the ugly breakup went down.

However, years later she met a man she now describes as her best friend and the love of her life. This is because the new relationship is based on mature feelings – now that she understand the meaning of once bitten twice…

With that said, Jackie Matubia who is currently in the last stages of her pregnancy says she’s started to freak out about labor and believe me – she’s scared for real. This is because she still remembers the pain she faced while laboring back when she had daughter, Zari.

Unfortunately KRG the Don is still making news on social media and so far, it appears that everything around him is just negative. That is from his fallout with ex wife, then Mbogi Genje, Andrew Kibe, Edgar Obare among others who he continues to fight online.

With everything in his life going wrong, KRG has found himself in yet another scandal involving a daughter he allegedly fathered back in 2002. This story was apparently sparked by a fan in the comment section; asking him to step in for the young girl now that he is in a position of giving her a good life.

Having been branded a deadbeat, KRG for the time addressed this issue while on an interview with Mungai Eve where he denied fathering a daughter as accused. According to him, there is no way he has a child from 2002, simply because at the time – he was only 11 years; meaning – it’s just impossible.

From what he says is that those spreading the rumors could be chasing clout using his name or worse could be looking for ways to make money out of him. However, having understood how the streets work, there is no way he will let this affect him in any way.

Kenyan producer ‘Beat ya Keggah’ announces big plan to help grow the local music industry

Producer Keggah of Beat ya Keggah is not a new name in the music industry. He is actually among the early pioneers that helped shape the music industry using his skills in composing and producing music good music.

Those who remember local music from back in the day will tell you that Beat ya Keggah always delivered whenever they worked with an artist. With his skills we saw the likes of Jimw@t, Redsan, Abbas Doobiez, Proff, Nazizi, Kristoff, Nonini, Mejja,Naiboi, Khali graph among others work with him and as usual their projects often became a success.

However after relocating to the United States Keggah took sometime off to ‘study’ on different tactics, he would use to help build the Kenyan sound to appeal internationally; hence his current shift to digitally distribute Kenyan music to it’s consumers.

New age, new game

According to Keggah, the new online platform he is working on is more of an app that will help artists achieve new goals, experiment with new sounds on his digitized recording label.

Speaking about the new project, Keggah said;

It’s in his nature, he just oozes that cool parent vibe and although he is part of the LGBTQ community – this doesn’t mean he cannot have kids of his own.
