Issa drinking nation! Kenyans on social media have gone wild after the Head of State was pictured chugging beer (Senator Keg) in Kisumu where he travel for his campaign trail.

 

The president who was accompanied by Ruto, Kisumu Central MP Mr Ken Obura visited the new East Africa Breweries Limited (EABL) being setup in Kisumu. The plant will apparently cost of Sh15 Billion, hoping that in 2 years time it will create job opportunities for 1,500 youths in Kisumu at the same time promote cassava farmers from the Nyanza counties.

Away from that, many Kenyans could not believe their eyes after the president was caught on camera enjoying his drink – something that has caused a stir on social media. As usual there were those who applauded the President for being real while others found it wrong as he is expected to set a good example to the youths…but wait, isn’t a little ‘wine’ good for digestion? Being one of the best video producers in the country, J Blessing has managed to make a name for himself as well as mingle with some of the big ‘fish’ in the entertainment industry.

For this reason, he is now considered as a celebrity whose life has been in the public eye for quite sometime. Anyway, he recently shocked many after confirming that he had split with Chantelle after dating for some years.

However, their relationship seems to have taken a drastic change after the ex couple lost their son a while back. Away from that, J Blessing and Ebru TV’s news anchor have left many assuming that they are seeing each other after sharing a selfie hanging out together.

But what we know is that Kamene Goro is actually involved with popular Tanzanian radio presenter, Gnex_thebaddest…. So does this mean she is just friends with J Blessing? Well, who knows.

“I can never fight a man like him!” Prezzo roasts Mustapha on air

So I guess Prezzo and Mustapha’s beef will not end anytime soon and this is because they both feel too superior to support each other’s careers.

For a while now we have all witnessed the two fight over what many term as ‘petty issues’ and now Prezzo has responded after Mustapha came out claiming that the reason all his women leave him (Prezzo) is because his bed skills game are too basic to satisfy his women. This is what he said,

Basically, let’s say his game is down. When they come to me, they say that he has not been satisfying them sexually. I take up the job as a brother and make them happy

However, speaking on Radio Citizen’s Mambo Mseto Prezzo fired shots at Mustapha calling him a primitive man who he can’t even think of fighting with.

“That guy is a primitive man, who has a short memory. I am never inclined toward battling him. Though, I understand his troubles. He wants to get back on his feet musically, but he is finding it to be very difficult. No one listens to his music, no one understands his music. Instead of politely approaching and requesting me – the king – to help him revive his career, which is headed for the abyss, he resorts to beefing.”

Speaking to Mzazi Willy M Tuva, the Makini king went on to add that;

“He should not beef with me to gain popularity. At my age, the music that I produce is top quality. I do not release songs such as Dodoma Singida. If he learns some manners, I will certainly boost him in his career. Moustapha is not a man I would fight; I would only undo my belt and whip him seriously. After he learns some manners, I would offer to help him find his feet.”

Anyway, I bet we are all waiting for the two keep quiet and release new music since we are already slaking in terms of producing good music like our brothers, Tanzanians.

Sisi yuma yako wewe tangulia: Popular radio presenter given his last emotional send off

Seth popularly known as Bikira_wa_Kisukuma from Tanzania was among the celebrated radio presenters whose humor could not go unnoticed.

For years he entertained many and from what I have learnt is that he was a man of the people. He was not only friends with his fellow Tanzanians but also one that loved Kenya and was close friends with Sauti Sol.

Sadly, the fella passed on a few days ago and from the stories making rounds on social media, Bikira_wa_Kisukuma had already predicted his death and had accepted that he was soon leaving his loved ones including his young daughter.


Well, today his fans have been given a chance to bid the radio presenter goodbye at the Leaders ground where they will view his body before he is laid to rest.

His death was a major blow to the Tanzanian entertainment industry and some of his close friends are still struggling to believe that he is gone.

However, we from the Ghafla team send our condolences to his family, friends and his entire team.

They grow up so fast; Caroline Mutoko celebrates her daughter as she graduates

The head of marketing at Radio Africa Group Caroline Mutoko cannot stop praising her daughter now that she graduated from school and will be moving to a different grade come next term when schools reopen.

The proud mum shared a photo of her lovely daughter on her Instagram page attracting the attention of most of her fans who were surprised to see how fast Nduku has grown.

From how Caroline Mutoko captioned her photo it is easy to tell that she was one proud mum to have her daughter graduate from one different class to another. She captioned the photo saying;

One Graduation down.4 to go!”

Caroline Mutoko has been raising her daughter since she was eight months till date (6 years) and now that she is all grown up – the mum of one could not help but parade her lovely baby girl rocking her graduation attire like a boss.

When you hear of Hessy, you better fold your hands together…that’s if you one who enjoys taking what does not belong to you.

So far, the renown cop has issued a couple of warnings to the youth indulging in crime and violence and from the look of things he always gives them two options… To change or die but as usual most end up with bullets in their bodies.

After warning the young females caught up in their boyfriends blood money, Hessy is back with a new list that consists of two guys he had asked to reform before he pumps bullets in their bodies.

Through his Instagram page, the fella wrote saying;

Speaking to Kamore, Hessy wrote to say;

We have lost so many youths so far, hopefully these boys will pay attention and reform if possible!

Jaguar following in president Uhuru Kenyatta’s footsteps

Musician Charles Njagua, popularly known as Jaguar, was declared the Starehe MP flag bearer for the ruling Jubilee Party a few months ago and has been campaigning as he hopes to beat Steve Mbogo who is running for the same seat but under an ODM ticket come August 8th.

For that reason Jaguar continues to be a man of the people as he tries to blend in everywhere he goes. I bumped into a few photos of the musician turned politician dressed in a white Kanzu – (an ankle-length Arab garment, with long sleeves and is usually worn by Muslim men).

Jaguar had stepped out to join Muslim brothers and sisters as they celebrated Eid a few weeks ago. The dressing up is obviously part of blending in…with people from the Muslim community – an art president Uluru Kenyatta has mastered over the years.

Video vixen cum socialite Hamisa Mobetto has indeed confirmed that she is expecting her second baby. The lass did this after sharing a few photos from her recent trip to Nairobi where she had come to host a gig at the XS Millionaires Club.

This was the first time the lass confirmed rumors about her pregnancy and if I am not wrong, she has also been hinting who the baby might be.

Lately Hamisa Mobetto calls herself ‘mama Dee’ and many assume that she is taking shots at Zari Hassan now that she is allegedly expecting Diamond Platnumz baby. However, the truth only remains with her because the only person who can tell us the truth is either her or a DNA test.

Mitchell Miyer is not a new face in the entertainment scene. She has been featured on most local blogs only because she dated gospel artist Willy Paul a few years ago before she moved on to Fred Omondi only to call off their relationship following a misunderstanding that was never revealed to the public.

Anyway, she since moved on and from the looks of things she settled down with her ‘Mr perfect’ and the two now have a baby – if what she wrote on her Instagram is true.

Miyer seems to have delivered her second baby this past weekend and for this reason she wrote saying;

Heartbreaking; It is difficult to explain to my daughter why her mother cannot come home” George Ikua opens up!

There is no pain that can beat that of losing a loved one. Well George Ikua understands this pretty well as he lost the love of his life and mother of his children, Janet Ikua kanini who lost her battle against cancer.

It has been three months since this happened and though it may seem like George Ikua and his kids have moved on but it has not been an easy step. Speaking recently during an interview, George opened up about his 4 year old daughter who has been asking about her mum’s whereabouts.

He understands that the she is too young to understand what has been happening and this is a challenge to him. He went on to say,

“Jasmine is only four. She is trying to understand what it means. It is difficult to tell her why her mother cannot come home for just 10 minutes, say hi, and go back to heaven.”

George has however played a big role and is continuing to raise his children as well as keep his late wife’s Kanini 4 Africa Foundation going in her memory.

Beautiful; Former Kleptomaniax’s member Collo parades his all grown cute daughter

Collins Majale aka Collo is not only one of the ‘illest’ rappers we have in the industry but an amazing father and husband.

The now changed rapper started off his career back 1999 when they formed Kleptomaniax while still in high school at the Nairobi School. However, in 2004 they became famous and their money kept flowing in – thanks to hit song Tuendelee which saw them become a threat to many artists.

Anyway, not many know that Collo has a daughter he sired a couple of years back. Well, he does and the little lady is called Tawala. He featured her in a song he collaborated with Sauti Sol called Tawala – a dedication to his daughter.

When we first met her, Tawala was still a small baby but thanks to the new photos shared by Parents Magazine, we now know that she has turned into a young beautiful lady taking after her mum’s looks and daddy’s smile.

Tanzania rapper cum politician Profesa Jay finally weds the love of his life

Professa Jay is not a new face in the entertainment industry. He has been doing music for quite some years now before he moved to politics – which he also juggles with his music once in a while.

He is popularly known for his hit song “Nikusaidiaje” released back in 2007 among other songs which have seen him land major deals and high profiled collaborations with the likes of Diamond Platnumz among other artists.

Well, this past weekend the rapper cum politician got a chance to exchange his vows with the love of his life Grace Mkonja at the Joseph Catholic Church located at Posta, in Dar Es Salaam.

The wedding celebrations attracted fellow politicians including Edward Lowassa, Freeman Mbowe, Godbless Lema, AY, Diamond Platnumz, Harmonize, Clouds FM’s Gnex_thebaddest among other popular faces who availabled themselves for the wedding. Check out the photos below:

The former radio queen recently shared a new photo of her baby girl, Theodora Nduku on her social media pages celebrating her princess – who will soon be turning 6 years.

Owago Onyiro is among the many comedians who worked for renowned comedian Daniel Ndambuki aka Churchill. He is however not your average funny man but a creative man that understands how to portray adult humor without overstepping boundaries.

Though he has been missing in action for quite sometime, this does not imply that his career is dead. From what I hear is that he still does comedy at events and mostly club gigs.

However, apart from his busy schedule…the funny man makes sure to spare some time for his wife and two adorable babies. A year ago he announced to have been blessed with another baby who he never introduced to his fan. But his eldest son seems to be shining in his dad’s glory.

Singer Nameless is grateful to have his wife and two daughters but he also wants a son. He revealed this during an interview where he mentioned that he has been talking to his wife about another baby but he hopes she will bare him a baby boy this time around.

Nameless and Wahu got married in a flashy wedding back in 2005 and will be celebrating their 12th anniversary this September. So far they have been blessed with two girls, Tumiso (11) and Nyakio (4) but now Nameless feels that it is time to add a new family member.

“Hiyo ndio topic ya discussion kwa nyumba, juu tunadiscuss, ‘do you want another one’ Me I’m like ‘yeah I want another one’, but nataka boy, because I love my girls.”

Speaking to Word Is, Nameless happened to reveal how much he is craving for a son since he is already blessed with girls in his family. So to balance the equation the singer hopes he will get a son. He said,

“I need a boy in that house, unajua, unakuwa overpowered! So I’m like, ‘I want another one as long as long as kuna guarantee, ubaya hakuna guarantee. Ama kuna guarantee na sijui. Me natafuta all guarantees in formular, hapo naweza jaribu. I would love to have one. To be honest, I would really love to have a son.”

“I still want you back!” Prezzo’s special message to Sheila Mwanyigha

Prezzo is not over his first love and he is not shy to admit this. Well, a few years ago the Kenyan rapper was romantically involved with Sheila Mwanyigha but just like most of his relationships…they really didn’t go anywhere.

Sheila Mwanyigha went her separate way and so did Prezzo but we got to see the rapper date a couple of women in the entertainment industry after his relationship with Sheila failed to work out.

His current ex, Michelle Yola seemed to have been the only woman who stood by Prezzo until she also decided to walk out on him for reasons best to the two.

After chasing her for months looks like Prezzo has given up and now back to his first love, Sheila Mwanyigha. He revealed that he still wants to get back with her as reported by a popular news outlet. Apparently he claims to still love her and is now trying to get back with her.

Speaking during an interview Prezzo said,

Kirinyaga gubernatorial aspirant Martha Karua has the won the hearts of many after she pictured cuddling a baby girl she helped deliver at undisclosed dispensary in Mutithi Mwea constituency.

Martha Karua stepped in to help the lady since the dispensary had no medical team present due to the ongoing nurses strike that has affected several hospitals in the country.

Being a mother and a woman who has also been in labor before, Martha Karua could not help but help the unnamed woman and after a safe delivery, the female politician shared a photo holding the new born on her social media pages.

From the smile she is seen flashing, there is no doubt that she was pretty much excited to have helped deliver the baby who was later named after her – as a way to show their gratitude. Check out the photo below;

Dennis Oliech kicked out of his apartment after tough financial problems?

Despite having made a name for himself after a successful football career, Dennis Oliech is now rumored to have been thrown out of his Valley Arcade apartment due to “rent arrears” as disclosed by close sources to the footballer.

To confirm this, a close source to the footballer told the Star that his belongings were moved by a lorry last week and nobody knows where he is at the moment.

“Last week, a lorry came by to shuttle off his belongings from the house. He did not carry everything, just bits of it.”

This is after he failed to pay his rent for a couple of months. The source went ahead to say that the apartment cost Sh150,000 per month and since he could afford it anymore he was forced to leave for a cheaper house.

His apartment has however found a new owner and his remaining household items were shifted to a servants quarter as they give him time to find a new place as revealed.

The source went on to add that he sold most of the property he had bought while playing football in Europe. He said,

“Oliech had a house, remember the one he bought when he was playing in France? The Cedar Valley house? Well, he sold it at below market value for Sh26 million, to an aspiring woman representative who was trounced at the nomination stage.”

Adding:

“The Cedar Valley house was where Oliech used to live before moving to a three bedroomed house on Siaya Road, then later he moved to Kileleshwa Heights, early last year.”

‘Fagilia’ hitmaker responds after being accused of struggling with drugs and living in poverty

Mr Nice is not a new face in the entertainment industry. The Tanzanian singer has been in the music industry for more than 10 years and before he went missing in action, he had dropped several club bangers that saw him top on most music charts in East Africa.

However, he disappeared for a while but when he came back…rumors claiming that he was seriously ill and was living in poverty started making rounds on social media.

Online news outlets also reported that he was drowning in liquor and had lost himself in this life. The singer, however chose to respond to these rumors while speaking to edaily where he went on to say that the rumors were baseless and had been cooked up to ruin his career. He said,

“Kaka, niko freshi kabisa! Hivi tunapozungumza niko kwangu hapa Nairobi; hata ndiyo naamka. Ni mwili tu ndio umechoka kwa sababu nilipiga show kubwa Mtito Andei last weekend. Unajua ili mtu achape show nzuri, lazima atumie nguvu nyingi sana.”

He went on to add that,

“Hivi mimi ni kuchoka tu; si ati naugua ama ulofa umenimaliza kama vile watu wanvyosema katika mitandao ya kijamii. Na ningependa kusema kwamba wanaoneza uvumi huo ni mahaters tu; hawanitakii mema.”

A few weeks ago Zari Hassan revealed that her mum had been hospitalized following a short illness. However, the businesswoman cum socialite did not get into details to reveal what her mum was suffering from.

Anyway, just when we thought things were getting better for their family, Zari Hassan has come out for the second time pleading fans to pray for her mum who seems to be in a bad condition – judging from the emotional post she shared on her Instagram page.

The mum of five wrote saying,

I can’t explain it…but all I can request for is prayers for my mother. It is a very difficult time for my family

We are however not sure what could be the problem as the Ugandan socialite has been keeping her family’s life on the low since the death of her ex husband, Ivan Ssemwanga.

Mueni Bahati has now joined the list of celebrity babies making headlines in the country. The 2 year old was recently introduced by her daddy who had chosen to keep her a secret since she was born and word had it that the singer was not sure whether the baby was his….oops!

Anyway, after making headlines for weeks…baby Mueni has now started changing her lifestyle and this can be seen through her official Instagram page.

When we first saw her the baby was rocking the normal cornrows but her parents seem to have switched her hairstyle to cute baby locks that look like those of her dads.

I bumped into her latest photos and truth be told – Bahati and his daughter did not need any DNA to confirm that the two are related. With her rocking the baby locks, Mueni looks her daddy’s photocopy.

Rapper Collo who started off his career as a secular artist with Kleptomaniax is now a changed man doing gospel music. This however came as a surprise to many who never saw this coming.

After Kleptomaniax split, the fella embarked on a solo musical career that saw him release a few collaborations here and there before he decided to change his life.

He got married and settled down with his beautiful wife – who he chooses to keep off social media like most celebrity couples. Anyway, towards the end of 2016 he release a new Christian rap song dubbed Bazokizo that saw him win many fans, something he did not expect!
