After 30 days of battling an alien COVID-19, Switch TV presenter, Kush Tracey has finally tested negative for the virus.

News she made public just hours ago, when her 3rd test results came out negative. “I guess I just conquered this COVID-19, AMEN!” she screamed.

Test results that now gave her the freedom to get back to the world, a conqueror, one who had learnt her lessons but came out victorious.

Khaligraph Jones claps back after MCSK audit report revealed theft of musician’s royalties

Kenyan musicians have been rioting over the extremely poor leadership of copyright board, MCSK among other key organizations involved, who have for years paid up royalties in form of peanuts.

The wide view among artistes was that the industry was not conducive enough for the growth of their exceptional talents which have since been taken for granted. Some wishing they had started their careers overseas which would have now multiplied the kind of reception they are receiving in their own country.

Weeks after their ugly rants went viral, a drastic audit was made among those corporates involved in collecting royalties for artists, with reports finally out clearly indicating that musicians’ royalties had been swindled.

MCSK, PRiSK and Kamp were among bodies majorly touched on by the forensic audit from 2017 to 2019 that unearthed deep-rooted inefficiencies in the systems. Findings that were presented to KeCoBo chairman Mutuma Mathiu on Tuesday in form of a draft report.

“The non-compliance exposes the three societies to serious risks of misappropriation of funds, civil and criminal liability and loss of income from penalties and sanctions,” read the statement in part.

A report that popular rapper, Khaligraph Jones has now given his two cents on, clarifying that an audit was not worth the sweat at the very least.

Milly and Kabi WaJesus savored a week’s-trip to Dubai only to be welcomed back into Kenya with the unfortunate loss of one of the close relatives.

The couple that seemed a bit low and saddened took to the gram to share words of wisdom with their fans, revealing there was nothing more precious than living for the heavenly Kingdom instead of the earthly world.

A month apart of mourning the loss of two uncles, “I’ve learnt a lot about life and death. We have lost an uncle just a month after losing an uncle from my side,” Kabi WaJesus stated.

Life is meaningless, it is worthless to do all these things that we put our focus on. It is more important to focus on creating impact on people’s lives and eternity.

Milly, who had lost the brother to her dad, decided to spend a better part of the week with her siblings, husband and son to get over the pain and get some warmth and love around her.

Today has been very, mmmh! not good day for us. We received some very bad news that we lost our uncle from my father’s side. So he is like the last born to me, he was like a brother because he was like the youngest on my father’s side. It was so sad because it was just sudden that’s why we have been MIA. Pray for us, our family and our grandpa. We are just hoping and praying for strength. It has been really sad for us.

It dawned on Kabi that life on earth was like a passing cloud after setting his eyes on the lifeless body of Milly’s uncle and he could just not come to terms that he could no longer move or say a word.

Seeing how broken and weak a dear Milly had become over the news, Kabi urged fans to pray with him as the family griefs over a loved one. A promising, young individual whose life came to a tragic halt.

Popular Churchill comedian, John Macharia aka Mc Coin has left fans and family worried after he was last seen more than a month ago, without letting anyone know of his whereabouts.

In online posts that have since gone viral, the funny man was allegedly last seen in late July by close friends and recent efforts to get through to him have proven futile.

“It’s almost been a month now since our bro (Mc Coin) went silent on all possible media. We’ve tried reaching him out for the last two weeks now in vain. Where he lives and back home is nowhere to be found. All the contacts we have, have been switched off. Its truly a sad story for us and his family. Any leads of his whereabouts lately will be highly appreciated,” one DJ Nixx Bee shared.

The Alarm

According to a local publication, the comedian had been complaining of the hard life out here, forced to move from his place at Kahawa Wendani to the village.

“We went to campus together and we’re always in touch. Around late July is the last time we talked and he told me how hard life had turned out due to tough economic times,” revealed a close ally.

So worrisome was the situation because on reaching out to his parents, Mc Coin’s friends were told they had not laid eyes on him for a while.

Well, whether a slay king or not Otile Brown definitely left Babu Owino fighting paranoia of being replaced come 2022. This is because the MP probably knew his people would support the hunk singer; especially since he failed in terms of fulfilling his promises of building roads in Embakasi.

Elani’s Maureen Kunga has been using this quarantine time to take care of herself and boy has she changed! Judging from the new photos shared on her Instagram; we believe that Maureen cut about 10 or more kgs as she appears to look smaller than what we were used to.

The lady who is not just a singer but a law degree holder has been keeping a low profile for months now. However the weight loss proves that she has been using her quarantine time wisely; and although Elani has not dropped a new project in a while; Maureen has definitely challenged many with her banging figure.

It is no secret that Elani have been missing in action for a while now; but their fans continue holding on as they await for the group to drop either a new song or just announce their come back soon.

However as for now, the three seem quite busy with their private lives. Brian who is the only man in the group is busy raising his 2 year old son; while Maureen got married last year and Wambui continues to slay for her IG fans with her contagious smile.

King Kaka’s wife, Nana Owiti knows her style, what trends best suit her and what fashion she needs to keep off. However, the curvy babe has never shied away from going the extra mile to try out all sorts of outfits that ended up a big plus for her.

Fortunately enough, the Kamba doll has a body that allows her an almost flat tummy that then allows enough room for her hippy edges just enough, not too much, not too little definitely.

The lass started it off like a joke, initially covering up her short dresses with translucent chiffon and times having it all long to the bottom before she soon cracked the puzzle and discovered her place.

Knee-length and eventually slightly above the knee became her routine. Let’s run down the list.

1. There was this maroon leather two-piece whose pose hinted of a teenager a bit shy to make that move.

2. Then came this outdoor look that had her all covered up apart from the glaring juicy thighs.

3. She soon after went a bit extra with her little floral dress, pretty short and her lean against the table only pronounced her edges against her flat tummy. Pascal Tokodi was in the background to confirm the statement.

4. Her tomboy sense of fashion recently saw her get a mix of ladies’ and boy-ish wear, a bit of each but not too much of either. One half was best suited for a classroom outfit, the other half saw her labelled a ‘cowgirl’ for the wild boots.

5. Next was this hot look that would have made her easily mistaken for an air hostess.

6. With the sun out and the babe finally grabbing that little black dress, Nana looked like a young campus babe who had just started experiencing the ‘good life’.

7. The tight dresses were coming in a bit too loud and this particular one spared no one her natural curves and edges.

8. It would only be fair to admit that Nana might not have only one ‘little black dress’ but a couple suited for every occasion. This particular one is way more flattering with just enough skin to show.

9. Nana decided to give fans a bit of a 3D look with a pose that suggested she was the Queen in reign with her beaded, pointed grey heels to confirm the statement.

10. Finally, she let it a bit free with this trendy shirt dress and a nude pair of heels.

11. This one a bit more formal and would easily get her mistaken for a bridesmaid.

Edgar Obare humbly thanks Artcaffe day after restaurant saga that nearly claimed his life

Edgar Obare’s lunch day out during the weekend turned into shambles after having a seafood delicacy that saw him fight for his life soon after.

The popular Internet sensation was having a catch-up with one of his good friends and opted for Artcaffe restaurant, Capital Centre where he ordered the prawns tagliatelle.

An hour later, the lad was running all over from the bathroom to the restaurant’s counter to the balcony, trying to contain his scratchy throat that felt like it was tearing up, a blocked nose and closed up throat with his neck persistently itchy.

The service was pretty bad to the extent that no one paid attention to him or even attended to his needs. This saw his face and eyes all swell up that forced him an admission into hospital late in the night.

Message of gratitude

Roughly a day later, the kid is doing superbly excellent with a recent photo of him after the swelling went down completely but still on medication. However, he went ahead to pen down words of gratitude to Artcaffe’s management after a chat with its General Manager yesterday morning.

Talked with the @artcaffekenya General manager Yarden this morning. And she was concerned and sincere in taking this as a learning experience for them on how to handle such emergencies. She apologized for that experience which I accepted and I am grateful they are willing to work on steps to be better prepared for such emergencies.

Further revealing that the restaurant was open to list all ingredients that were part of the dish as he works with Nairobi Hospital to get to the bottom of his allergic reaction. Wrapping up;

This was a unique situation, telling this story was not about blaming anyone. It’s about all of us being better prepared in emergencies. I appreciate that Artcaffe is taking some responsibility and showed willingness to change for the better. Thank you ????

Bongo actress Auntie Ezekiel has left many talking about her pregnancy; shortly after announcing that she was not sure whether her boyfriend or baby daddy is the father!

Her confession comes as big surprise to fans who thought her relationship with baby daddy; WCB dancer Mose Iyobo was over. However turns out that she was involved with both Mose Iyobo and socialite Kusah who started seeing late last year.

Well, barely 9 months later, Ezekiel who is a well known actress unveiled what appears to be a fully grown baby bump! Judging from the size of the bump, we can confirm that indeed Ezekiel will be welcoming her second baby pretty soon.

Speaking to journalists this past weekend, 34 year old Aunty Ezekiel went on to reveal that she will find out who the father is once the baby is born. However judging from how she put it; one can tell that she may be giving busy bodies a reason to talk!

When asked about settling down, the actress went on to make it known that she has no plans of becoming anybody’s wife. At her age, Ezekiel says she has seen enough reason not to tie herself down with a man; then end up getting hurt.

Esma parted ways with baby daddy, Petitman a few months ago; and barely 5 months after parting ways, Esma announced her engagement to her South African based husband.

For a minute the news sounded more of a joke as Diamond Platnumz; and Mama Dangote refused to attend Esma’s wedding with her new man, Msizwa Yahya.

Rumor has it that the two did not want to disrespect Petitman who had dated Esma for over 10 years. But since the two are both hard headed, their marriage failed immediately they started making referring to each other as man and wife.

Anyway, a while back Petitman went on to reveal that all is well despite losing his wife to another man!

Terence Creative cracks up fans with natural Congolese accent and funny ladies’ makeup look (Video)

Terence Creative has decided to treat fans to a feminine look coupled with a flawless Congolese accent while trying to imitate the nationals in the event they got locked up in the country amidst Corona.

His theme for the parody was a Congolese who might have been locked up in one of Kenya’s tourist hotels for the last 7 months since COVID-19 kicked in. Complete with two pairs of flashy sunglasses, those gold chains they ever hang on their necks and a sleeveless leather jacket to complete the look.

He did not forget to replace his background with that of a high-end tourist hotel, just to suit the occasion. Terence disguised himself as a Congolese artist who had come for several performances in the country before Coronavirus struck and locked him up on the foreign land.

He eventually was forced to sell all his band instruments after running broke and his one plea to the government is to give him the key to open the Kenyan borders and let him return to his country. Barely 2 weeks after breaking the news of her pregnancy, Sharon Momanyi held a private lavish baby shower ahead of her big date.

The KTN Prime Time News anchor had only close friends and family grace the event in a series of photos as shared by former colleague and current BBC journalist, Ian Wafula.

Held at the Ngong Forest Sanctuary, the couple opted for an outdoor lowkey ceremony with the serenity and wild vegetation to color their day.

Sharon, who was quite heavily pregnant donned a loose fitting long olive-green dress, with a white flower head crown, as friends and family got the privilege to feel the baby’s kick while placing hands on her protruding belly.

An ocean blue theme took over the decor and was the main color on the cake’s icing, with a toddler’s shoes and the tag ‘MOM’ to crown it up. The setting was simple but classic and the group present sure had a beautiful time as a dear Sharon looked forward to holding her little one in her arms.

Akisa Wandera, Sharon Momanyi as well as Ian Wafula were among the colleagues who got an invite to the event. Looks like the heavily expectant mom is not far away from welcoming her bundle of joy and we can only wait. Presumption is the baby is a boy, basing on the theme color picked on but we can only speculate.

After roughly 4 years of going missing on the radio waves, former Classic 105’s mid-morning presenter, Tina Kaggia is back.

However, this time she is making her comeback on rival station, Nation FM. Breaking the news on her Instagram page, the young beauty was spotted sitting in one of the studios, captioning; “Queens never give up the crown. Good morning! #TheVoice is back!!! #nationfm”

This morning, the radio girl welcomed fans to a revamp of her on the Nation Media Group-owned radio station psyching; “Good morning!Let’s do this!!!” From the look of things, Tina has taken up The Morning Fix show as she starts from where she left 4 years ago.

The break

The radio presenter had in mid-December 2016 revealed she needed to “step back for a minute and focus on greater things,” but failed to give finer details on the same.

Her love for radio was however going to bring her back, clarifying she was going off-air for a short while but would be back before we know it.

“I have hang my gloves. Not for good. For an extremely short while. I live for radio, I breathe for it. But at times, you need to step back for a minute. For now, I am leaving Radio Africa. I absolutely love each and everyone there. But I need to flap my wings…” confessed Tina Kaggia during her exit in 2016.

Speculations were rife she had quit radio to engage with a leading sports firm after sharing a promotional video for the corporate on her Facebook page but she however never commented on the same.

And now that she is back, we can only enjoy the ride. Excited fans welcomed her back, glad that she kept her word.
