Kimemia went to Munyeki Primary school and gave the inner wear to the boys but social media blasted her claiming that the undies were to big for the boys and also a wrong move.

The donation sparked a huge argument on Nyandarua People’s Assembly Facebook page as some people argued that it was still a good move while others preferred she would have donated books.

Did Uhuru lie how he met the First Lady? Kenyans think so after watching this video

President Uhuru Kenyatta has been married to First Lady Margaret Kenyatta for almost three decades now. Uhuru, during International Women’s Day, celebrated his wife with a lovely message on social media saying how he met her.

However, there was a problem.

Kenyans think it’s a lie. Or, Uhuru lied to them in another instant where he shared how the two met. During his recent confession on Twitter, Uhuru said he was out swimming with his dad Jomo Kenyatta when he met a young Margaret.

Uhuru’s post

Two tales

Last year, he shared that they met while the president was swimming with his father and Kenya’s founding President Jomo Kenyatta.

Kenyans don’t know which story is true and they took online to bash the president. Maybe after 30 years, things have gotten blurry and Uhuru can’t clearly place the events. Only One person, who has remained silent, can confirm what really happened; The First Lady!

This is why Margret Kenyatta has won the hearts of many Kenyans (photo)

Humility is something most rich and famous people know nothing about, but when it comes to Margret Kenyatta things are different!

As the nation made sure to cast their votes yesterday, the current First Lady also woke up very early to queue like the rest of the Kenyans who had sacrificed their sleep to make sure they arrived at their respective polling stations on time.

From the stories making rounds on social media, Margret Kenyatta is said to have stood in line for 2 hours before she could cast her vote. Her humility has left many impressed and for this reason – she continues to prove herself to Kenyans!

Unlike other ladies who did not queue thanks to their politician husbands – below is the photo of Margret Kenyatta standing in line with fellow Kenyans to cast her vote.

President Uhuru Kenyatta narrates his never heard before love story of how he met his wife

There are several love stories of couples who have been together for over 30 years and still counting but nothing beats President Uhuru Kenyatta’s love story of how he met the First Lady when he was still in high school.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his family

Well, according Kiss 100 who first highlighted the story… President Uhuru Kenyatta met his wife Margret Kenyatta through her brother who he was schooling with at St Mary’s School.

Apparently the president revealed that Margret’s younger brother was the one who introduced him the two of them and that is how they both fell in love and settled down to start a family together. He said,

“Her brother was my friend in high school. Through him, I managed to meet his younger sister and we started off a relationship that has lasted from High school till now, and I’m thankful to God for that.”

He went on to add that some of the partners we meet now might be the people we spend our forever with.

“Who you meet today as a friend and a partner may be your First Lady tomorrow. The girl I met in High School is the First Lady…(laughs)”
