Kenyans Attack Eric Omondi Over Miscarriage Video (Screenshot)

Kenyans on twitter are always ready to scrutinize anything that looks suspicious; no matter your social status or popularity. And comedian Eric Omondi is now a victim. He recently displayed his girlfriend Lynn & himself via Instagram lamenting the loss of their child. According to Eric, it was a miscarriage that led to the loss of their unborn.

Last night was one of the Longest nights in my life???????? We fought for over 5 hours to try and save our little Angel but God had other plans. We never met you but we sure felt you and will Forever Love you????????????????. Respect to all the Women, no man on earth has that kind of strength. @l.y.nn.e stay strong…It is well.”

In the video, Lynn is seen lying on the floor crying as Eric tries to comfort her.

Kenyans React

The big question that has netizens flabbergasted is why would Eric have someone record them while they were at their lowest. Further, why would Eric post such a video on Instagram? Not everyone even seemed convinced that it was indeed a miscarriage or just one of Eric Omondi’s kiki stunts. I mean, he has done some obnoxious acts before and later confessed that it was all for clout. As a matter of fact, Eric claimed clout chasing is part of entertainment; and he has done it over and over.

Here’s how a section of Kenyans on twitter reacted to Eric’s video;

Eric Omondi Reveals His Girlfriend Once Dumped Him For Another Woman (Video)

The queer community is immensely growing over the years; with more people conglomerating themselves into it with a minimum of fuss. From the likes of Makena Njeri, Michelle Ntalami, Notiflow, just to mention a few, they’ve come out to declare themselves as part of LGBTQ.

In relation to the latter, comedian Eric Omondi has seen one of his girlfriends join the queer world.

Character Development

The comedian revealed in a recent interview that his University girlfriend once dumped him for another woman.

“Nilinyanganywa msichana na msichana, wueh that was painful. My friends tried warning me and I was like there’s nothing that can happen.

He continued to state how heartbroken & embarrassed he was;

Hakuna kitu inaeza fanya mwanaume aishiwe na self esteem kama hiyo, and it was known all over that my girl had been snatched by another girl,”lamented Eric.

Eric Omondi continued to claim he has been faithful in his previous relationships despite undergoing character developments. His relationship with Chantal is the only one which seemed to be an everlasting one, but the two decided to go their separate ways amicably. For now, Eric remains single, even after his popular show ‘Wife Material’ which was meant to get him a wife.

Crazy Kennar weighs in on Eric Omondi’s Cross dressing, leaves fans in stitches

Okay I know we all have questions about Eric Omondi sexuality, now that he can’t stop slaying on social media with body hugging outfits and full face makeup.

Maybe it’s just for marketing purposes, maybe not. I mean the guy is now in his 40’s and last we checked – he publicly denied the child he was said to have fathered with Jacque Maribe…so yea – no wife, no kids…a handsome man like Eric Omondi?

Anyway although marriage is a choice and so is having kids – I’m pretty sure Eric Omondi would want what most of his agemates have and that is his own family. However with him stepping out in women’s clothing seem to be confusing everyone on social media; and seems like Crazy Kennar is the latest celebrity to weigh in on the comedian’s Cross dressing stunts.

Kennar

Funny man Crazy Kennar to Eric Omondi

Unlike others who may have bashed Omondi for his latest ‘single ladies’ video – Crazy Kennar decided to get creative with a hilarious video that has left many including the likes of Director Phil Karanja in stitches.

Judging from the clip, I can bet Crazy Kennar has heard crazy stories about prison – which he decided to put to play. From what I got from the video is that Comedian Eric Omondi would make a babe in prison…especially with how he has been carrying himself.

Kennar making fun of Eric Omondi

Again – it’s nothing personal just a skit and a creative one for that matter; and Eric Omondi also seems to agree. Alaar.

Eric Omondi steps out in bikini

By now I’m pretty sure we understand that Eric Omondi is willing to go do anything just to remain relevant in the entertainment industry.

Well, the reason I say this is because for the past few days he has given fans a reason to think he might be a cross dresser (still in the closet) but thanks to advertising – he gets to let this side we know nothing about come out to play.

Sounds like something from a movie right? Well between the makeup and women clothing I don’t know what is pissing most people off; but what I know is that Eric Omondi can walk better in heels than most women out here. He nails it.

Eric in Bikini

If you thought he has shown us everything with his divalicious persona – wait until you see Eric Omondi in a bikini. Although he wore a two piece swimsuit, Eric Omondi didn’t show much on the lower parts of his body….and I think we know why.

Eric Omondi

However – with the bikini photos – I guess it’s only fair if Eric Omondi to accept he is a cross dresser, cause hey his secrets are starting to show!

Alaaaaa! Eric Omondi denies wanting ex Chantal Grazioli back

You see everyone was surprised to see Eric Omondi come online and defend his ex girlfriend Chantal Grazioli; after she received one harsh beating from her now boyfriend, Nicola Traldi.

Like, is that what exes are doing now? Cleaning up their exes messes after they’ve moved on? Ama kila nyani na starehe zake?

Anyway the 40 year comedian not only exposed but also shared a video showing how badly his ex girl was hurt; and being a light skinned woman – clearly she bruised up like a peach – something you wouldn’t wish on anybody’s daughter.

Well as fans called out Nicola, they also demanded for justice which explains why he is now behind bars. Apart from that, they’re are those who feel that Eric Omondi helped Chantal because he still has hopes of getting her back. Wow.

Eric Omondi on wanting a relationship with Chantal

Okay, I know we all have that one ex we all feel got away and in this case – fans feel that Eric Omondi lost his gem and that is Chantal Grazioli. This is because of how he stepped in to defend her from her violent man….call it simping…but I’ll promise you that Eric won a few hearts with that stunt.

Comedian Eric Omondi with girlfriend, Chantal

And after sampling his tugirlfriends and still not settling down; netizens claim God opened a window for Omondi to win his girl back but from his interview with Milele FM’s Ankali – Eric says that is not the case;

Mimi na Chantal tunaongea sana, unajua karibu tuoane. Tulipoachana tuliachana kwa uzuri. Mimi na Chantal tumekuwa na urafiki wa ukaribu. Sio lazima ukisaidia mtu ati murudiane. Hamna! Mimi nimemove on na maisha yangu.”

According to the comedian, he only did this because Nicola was threatening to involve the ‘who and who’ running the nation; as a defense mechanism to prove nothing will happen to him.

Huyo jamaa alikuwa anam threaten, anajua the who is who. Hiyo ndiyo reason alinipigia, maanake pia yeye lazima angetafuta mtu ambaye pia ako juu. Mimi Mungu ameniweka juu. Si unona ameshikwa?

Well….let’s wait and see how the story will go after this. Don’t be surprised if Nicola wins Chantal back – leaving Eric Omondi on the sideline.

Eric Omondi to quit on landlord, flaunts piece of land he is set to build his own house after years of living in rentals

Before anything else, yes we would like to clarify that comedian Eric Omondi lied about owning a mansion in Karen; and I’m guessing by now – fans already know he cannot be trusted mostly because of his vipindi (stunts) on social media.

Although this stunts may be his art of survival on social media, many feeel that at 40 years, Eric Omondi owes himself some honestly, and I’m guessing this is why he came out clean about building a retirement home for himself.

Eric Omondi to finally build himself a home

He made this known in two social media posts where he flaunted his huge piece of land and on the caption he wrote;

That Journey of a thousand miles began today. And we are trusting God for the entire Process????????????Today is a very Great day!!! A memorable one!!! I want to officially call upon all/Any Architect/Engineers to help me come up with a Masterpiece for this House(We will shortlist and give the job to one). We are looking for a creative Masterpiece, A monument of sorts. If you are an Architect or you know one, this is your Chance. We need to launch a Presidential Palace by the beginning of 2023.

This new and legit big win for the comedian comes after years of living in expensive rentals apartments in some of Nairobi leafy areas. However with Eric Omondi already on the 4th flow, it’s probably the right time he also called it quits with Nairobi landlords.

Project Kick off

In yet another video, the comedian shows off as his foreman at work and as far we know is that they already fenced Eric’s property ahead of the main project.

Speaking about this, Eric went on to invite talented Architects looking to work with him in a post where he wrote;

Eric Omondi with foreman

Good Morning from location. We are building the official Residence of the President and we will do it together. Calling upon Architects to DM Me!!We are looking for a Creative Monumental and Presidential DESIGN. Leo tumemaliza the Initial fencing…Pole Pole mpaka tufike!!! #ProjectStateHouse

Well another job opportunity for young talents right there, but problem is – with all the scandals he has had, will Eric bag himself a trust worthy Architect?

Eric Omondi exposed as broke and unable to pay off debts

Word making rounds on social media is that most your favorite celebrities have debts all over town and can’t seem to pay up on time. So far we’ve seen the likes of Diana Marua, Kibanja; to a notorious Tanasha Donna known to dodge all her debts – just because she is a celebrity.

Eric Omondi and Ms P

With the women well represebted, looks like a male celebrity just joined the bandwagon; and word has it that Eric Omondi doesn’t pay off his debts. Not that he hasn’t been rumored to be broke before – but this time around the person accusing him of refuting to pay his debt came with receipts!

According to one Designer Melina who is responsible for Eric Omondi’s unique outfits; she claims the fella apparently owes her around 339,900 which he is yet to settle. From  the shared DM screenshots shared by Edgar, fans can see how the designer exposes Eric Omondi despite them being close. Reaching out to Edgar for help, the designer wrote;

Adding that despite having tried talking to him in private concerning the matter; Eric Omondi always found excuses to avoid paying the debt he owes.

He however was forced to pay at least Ksh 100k after they threatened to expose him – now that that things on the designers side we’re getting tricky.

Fun and games

So out of the Ksh 339900 he owes, Omondi only settled a third of it and since then the designer says he has been dodging the rest of the payments.

For instance at one point he gave an excuse of how his house was broken into and all his money stolen…okay, come on Eric; but again can you blame him for his comic ways?

Well – with this new exposè on Eric fans can’t tell whether it’s one of his social media stunts; or is genuine cry from a designer whose been robbed blind – but having him not say anything shows there some guilt somewhere!

“Sina Mtoto” Eric Omondi denies having any children out here

Didn’t Eric Omondi promise that he would help raise Maribe’s son despite having paternity doubts about the boy?

Also read: I Regret My Actions And I Will Take Care Of Maribe’s Son- Eric Omondi

Well, yes he did. But looks like this promise was made under pressure following his deadbeat scandal that almost cost his career – hence forcing him to agree to something he still wasn’t sure about.

Anyway, all we know is that both him and Jacque Maribe held a small ‘family’ meeting with the Kabu’s – where Eric Omondi promised to play his fatherly role in the boys life. However, judging from his recent interview with Wasafi Radio we have reason to believe that Eric backed out of his deal about Maribe’s son – or maybe….just maybe, Maribe decided to cut him off completely. Maybe.

I don’t have a wife or child

Speaking about his single status at 40 years, Eric Omondi joked about not finding a wife through his ‘wife material show’ – but this doesn’t mean he had given up on the search.

I tried to get a wife from my show ‘Wife Material’ but I failed.

His next statement is however what took many by surprise as he admitted to not having a children out here not even one. The comedian revealed this on national radio station adding;

I am turning 40 years old, sina mtu, sina mtoto, sina bibi.

Not sure whose fault it is that he is single at 40 but again, sio lazima not everyone is cut out for marriage right? No?

List of Celebrities branded ‘Deadbeat dads’ by their baby mamas

When it comes down to parenting or rather coparenting – trust me, it’s no walk in the park. Most of the time there is a lot of push and pull which brings us to the long of dads who have found themselves branded as serious deadbeats thanks to their ex partners.

And just in case you were wondering why they’re referred to as deadbeats, my dictionary says Deadbeat dad is a parent is ordered by the court to pay regular child support, yet fails to do so repeatedly.

Anyway below is a list of Kenyan celebrities accused of being deadbeat fathers.

DJ Shiti

DJ Shiti

The latest deadbeat dad in town happens to be DJ Shiti who was recently exposed by his baby for neglecting their 2 year old daughter. According to the baby mama, Shiti has not only been cheating but has not been taking responsibility for their child.

Profesa Hamo

Profesa Hamo

Among the popular deadbeats is Profesa Hamo who we all saw demand for a DNA for the two kids he had with Jemutai, only for the results to confirm he fathered both kids. He later went on to frustrate the lady by
demanding his rights to the kids – but as you know, this was settled off the court hence mending their relationship as parents.

Kabi wa Jesus

Kabi wa Jesus with daughter and baby mama

If there is a man who publicly denied his own blood it’s – Kabi wa Jesus. The fella for some reason openly denied fathering his cousin’s daughter simply because it would paint him wrong. Apart from all the deadbeats Kabi is clearly on his level as world making rounds is that he is yet to come to an understanding with his cousin who doubles up as his baby mama.

Bahati

Mueni Bahati is Singer Bahati’s first born daughter – but a child he refused to recognize until Diana Marua stepped in back in 2018. According to baby Mama, Yvette Obura – back then Bahati had refused to help out with the bills nor did he even visit to see his newborn. Crazy right? But oh well – things seem to have changed now and Bahati continues to support his daughter whether in good or bad terms with Mueni’s mum.

Senator Anwar

Saumu Mbuvi and lover, Senator Anwar welcome newborn baby

The last time Anwar responded to claims painting him as a deadbeat dad – the guy flipped but never denied nor admitted being one. Actually his biggest worry was that someone was using bloggers to tarnish his image and this being a political year – all he wanted was to focus on politics and not bothered with news concerning his daughter. Alaar…

Eric Omondi

Jackie Maribe with ex boyfriend, Eric Omondi

Jacque Maribe recently admitted that baby daddy Eric Omondi doesn’t support their son and the last time they checked – he didn’t even know where his son resides. However, for them it’s different since word has it that chances are that Eric might not be the biological dad. Nairobi.

Mr Seed

Swabrina shares photo of Mr Seed’s newborn

Thanks to Somali baby mama, we understand that Mr Seed has 3 sons but we only know of Gold. However late last year he was blessed with another baby boy courtesy of Somali baby mama and since then – all we hear about is that Mr Seed is a deadbeat not supporting his 3rd born son. The lady claims the gospel singer has never paid her a visit nor is he interested in their child.

Frankie Just Gym It

Frankie Just Gym it with sons

Last time we checked Maureen Waititu and Frankie Just Gym It were sorting out their issues in court; but since then – we’ve not seen Frankie with the boys – which leaves us wondering whether the court is in favor of Maureen.

Anyway, from what we understand is that Frankie stopped supporting his sons after he had baby mama kicked out of their Westlands home.

“Don’t make me air your dirty linen” Sauti Sol’s Savara threatens to expose Eric Omondi over unpaid debt

I am not really sure whether the Eric Omondi beef with the Sauti Sol brothers is real; or just another way to capture people’s attention – but one thing for sure is that, the noise they’re all making is getting heard by netizens.

Anyway on 31st, word had it that Eric Omondi and Sauti Sol had a nasty confrontation that led to the two parties exchanging words.

Also read:

Okay, according to Eric Omondi, his main aim is wake the Kenyan artists from their slumber; where else artists like Sauti Sol don’t see the need for the unnecessary noise being made by the now retired comedian. Well, for the past few weeks Bien has been the one doing the talking but after New Year’s, Savara also jumped in.

Time to pay up – Savara to Eric Omondi

Having been fed up with the online stunts Eric Omondi has been pulling the past few weeks; Savara decided to shut the comedian using unknown information concerning an unpaid debt.

Also read:

According to Savara, the so loud comedian is one to speak about Kenyan artists being inactive; where else he cannot even pay off his own debts. Addressing Mr Omondi, Savara wrote;

Lucky sikupatana na Wewe bro. I can’t have time for your theatrics until unilipe deni yangu. Don’t make me ain’t your dirty linen in public.

Not sure why the pull and push is still ongoing between the two parties, but for some reason – fans can’t help but keep up….but again, si watu wamerudi job?

Eric Omondi Reacts To Nadia Mukami & Masauti Being Chased Off Stage For Mbosso To Perform

Having spearheaded the move for #play 75% local content to support Kenyan musicians, comedian Eric Omondi is displeased by the treatment that Nadia Mukami & Masauti received at a recent concert in Mombasa. He has told them off for not being good enough. The duo was dispatched from their musical performance in order for Tanzanian musician Mbosso to take over.

According to Eric, it’s not peculiar for such to happen since Kenyan artists are ‘sleeping on their job’ and don’t have what it takes to compete with International artists.

On his Instagram reaction to the drama; Eric wrote;

”These Kenyan Artists wataendelea tu kuumia na Kudharauliwa mpaka SIKU ile wataniskia…Asiye skia la Mkuu Huvunjika guu…Anyway Plans are underway to BRING UP a TOTALLY NEW BREED of MUSICIANS hawa WASHATUANGUSHA.”

Eric continued to address Nadia Mukami after her response where she stated she couldn’t do anything to change the situation;

”My dear DO NOT EVER ALLOW Anyone to DISRESPECT YOU!!! You guys were SIMPLY LOOKED DOWN UPON!!! You were BE LITTLED, you were not that IMPORTANT and that has to STOP NOW!!! The way you are TREATED will REFLECT the way you are PAID. We have begun the CONVERSATION, We are PUTTING Systems in PLACE but NYINYI MME KATAA KUAMKA!!! People will only TREAT You the WAY YOU ALLOW THEM TO. Na Mkingoja tuwabembeleze mtangoja sanaa. Mezeni PIRITON, Chukueni DUVET MLALEEE KABISAAAAAAAAAA.”

Kenyan fans have since reacted in rage over the whole drama and shown bitterness to the organizers involved. However, some have sided with Eric Omondi to maintain that Kenyan artists are not giving enough of themselves.

Eric Omondi Mocks Konshens In Latest Diss Track (Video)

Eric Omondi & Konshens are losing their cool following their endless online beef. The genesis of their beef was expedited by Eric’s move to try and improve the Kenyan music industry. In the brink of this, Eric Omondi found himself at loggerheads with Kenyan musicians.

Not only did he chop it up with Kenyan artists, but he also locked horns with International artists such as Konshens.

The Jamaican dancehall artist wanted an amicable talk with the comedian but things are going haywire for both of them.

Konshens - News and Music

In their latest online rants, the duo released diss tracks against each other.

Eric Omondi wrote on his IG;

”Nimeskia ati @konshens amenitupia DISS TRACK???????????????? let me hit the Studio????????????. I am about to DROP and DELIVER a CAREER ENDING Diss TRACK…He will not RECOVER???? Its ON!!!!”

Konshens responded to and wrote;

”Wait u feel thats a diss? I thought u were a comedian. It says so ur bio. Oh no”

Eric Omondi hit back with his diss track and captioned;

”My brother @konshens why are you PANICKING??? Just sit back and wait for Me to FINISH You with ONE TRACK!!! Am already in the STUDIO. You have Strictly 45 Minutes to Apologise before I DROP the BOMB????”

Eric Omondi Chops It Up With Ugandan Artists After His Latest Post (Screenshot)

Eric Omondi’s trial on reviving the performance of Kenyan music is on the verge of succeeding after passing his bill to members of Parliament. It was not an easy task for the jester as it got him in trouble last week. His comparison of Kenyan music with other countries; including neighboring Uganda and Tanzania got him in some bitter conversation with artists from these countries.

His counterpart comedian Patrick Salvado went ahead to clarify that their musicians only produce good quality music, rather than relying on a policy to protect them;

”We don’t have a policy that protects our artists… Our artists just woke up one day and decided to produce quality music, that’s their biggest protection. You are pushing the right agenda with the right intention but with a very wrong approach. But for what it’s worth, you have created conversation.”

Adding on to the sentiments, Ugandan comedian and actress reiterated over the same and wrote;

”Wooooiiiiiii we don’t have such policies here my dear. Which Uganda!? Been here jealous of your struggles and victories so far if am being honest????. I was simply heart broken that I would not be tickling my Kenyan ninjas in 3D anytime soon but I know beta now. We can only pray to have just half the balls you have to confront such policies. I get u ????”

Eric’s bill to play 75% local content is however, yet to be passed.

Members Of Parliament Finally Receive Eric Omondi’s Play 75% Local Content Bill

The bill that is set to calibrate Kenyan music industry and place it on a pedestal is about to be tabled in Parliament by Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and Starehe MP Charles Njagua; who gladly received it yesterday, November 23 from comedian Eric Omondi. The jester’s previous haphazard move saw him arrested for planning a demonstration outside Parliament.

Plan B Successful

After a few advices here and there, he came up with the bill to counter the ordeal he underwent a week ago. Through Babu Owino and Jaguar, Eric Omondi believes that the ‘play 75% local’ bill will be a success;

”The “PLAY 75% LOCAL” Bill will be Tabled in PARLIAMENT tomorrow by @jaguarkenya and @he.babuowino tomorrow!!! The Bill will pass with Flying colours because no MP in their right mind would refuse to vote for a bill that Promotes and Supports their own Children”

Eric Omondi with MPs Babu Owino & Jaguar-Intstagram (courtesy)

Babu Owino continued to reiterate over the success of the bill; adding that the ball is now in the court of Kenyan artists to ensure they produce hefty music to fill the 75% play;

”As a member of Parliament, and a youthful one for that matter; together with honorable Jaguar, we’ll have to compel them to ensure that we pass this bill that is proposing 75% of the airplay should be given to Kenyan artists…

And now kazi is on the artists who are Kenyans. We also expect you to produce quality music, danceable music.”

Even though Eric didn’t receive much support from Kenyan musicians; it’s imminent that they’ll now be roped in to stick by his side. The bill is meant to uplift them anyway.

Clout Chasing Is Part Of My Work, It’s Entertainment- Eric Omondi

Comedian Eric Omondi has had a tumultuous time pushing the play 75% Kenyan content agenda. It’s evident that majority of artists are not interested in what he’s doing; with some fearing that he’s not using the right path to air his views.

Anything For Clout

Like some other celebrities, Eric Omondi doesn’t mind to surreptitiously orchestrate his next move(s). From

Wife Material Season 1, to Miss P’s recent fake pregnancy reveal, and many more. This were among his many moves he employed to chase clout. He can’t be trusted anymore with whatever he does. The planning of Wife Material Season 1 caught all of us unaware. We have to admit it was a shrewd move.

Video Proof That Eric Omondi and Miss P Faked Pregnancy
Eric Omondi and Miss P-Google

But the jester’s move to reveal musician Miss P’s fake pregnancy didn’t flinch us a bit.

According to Eric, such subtle stunts are not peculiar to entertainers; and are a form of entertainment. Speaking in an interview with Willis Raburu, Eric divulged that clout chasing is part of his work as an entertainer;

”I want to demystify the assumption that Eric Omondi and most of East African artists, including Diamond, they’re relying on kiki. I want to inform the entertainment industry, that the most talked about artists in East Africa, Diamond and Eric Omondi that kiki is part of entertainment. Because entertainment sio tu mziki na kuchekesha… So, it’s not clout, it’s entertainment.

The work of a comedian is to push the envelope, to cross the line. We are allowed…”

Eric continued to justify his sentiments by stating that most netizens are still entertained by what he does; adding that he’s most prolific comedian.

Do you believe clout chasing is a form of entertainment?

“You sleep with anything in a skirt, you have no class” Eric Omondi tells Willy Paul

Okay we get it, Willy Paul and Eric Omondi are out to promote their two artists; that is Miss P and Queen P. Of course by now you already know about Miss P, the singer who accused Pozee of using; and dumping her a few months back while signed under Saldido records.

Eric Omondi and Ms P

Well, months after their (Pozee and Miss P’s) nasty fall out – Eric Omondi appears to have stepped in; and is currently helping the young singer build her own brand and music. However judging from how Pozee has been moving, it’s clear to see that he may somehow be against the idea of Eric Omondi helping the young lady.

Also read: Willy Paul Threatens To End Eric Omondi’s Life After He Criticized His Music Video (Screenshot)

So far Willy Pozee has not only accused Eric Omondi of being obsessed with Miss P’s ‘privates’ but also claims that the comedian likes left overs. Wow, the audacity.  Of course with such accusations, what started as a harmless social media troll flipped just like that, making it a personal vendetta.

Eric Omondi calls out Willy Paul for being trashy and classless

Responding to the shade Willy Paul has been throwing his the past few days; Eric Omondi has finally issued a statement addressing the artist and boy is the drama getting out of hand.

Well, according to Eric Omondi – singer Pozee is not in a position to throw shade on who is eating left overs or whatever he said. This is because Pozee is already known for his thirsty ways that have seen him get accused by several ladies of sexual assault.

Through their Instagram pages, the two celebrities went on to troll each other saying;

Not quite sure how real the beef is, but from the way these two are moving; things might just get out of hand pretty soon.

Eric Omondi Narrates Ordeal He Underwent While In Police Custody For The First Time (Video)

On Tuesday 16th November, comedian Eric Omondi had his first experience in the police cells at the Central Police Station in Nairobi. The jester found himself in police custody after an unsuccessful demonstration for play 75% Kenyan content within Parliament.

Eric was joined by a few upcoming artists and youth in the demo, who later fled the scene and Eric was arrested alone. He was forcefully thrown into a police van after little resistance.

Eric would later be driven to Central Police station; where he had his first experience in the cells.

”There was a moment of panic when I realized I was actually getting arrested… When the OCS came and said, arrest him”. Nikasema, weh, kwani wananishika? What you’re seeing around the police car is a moment of anger from the police, a moment of panic from myself. There were like 7 men. They were trying to push me into the car and I knew if I go into this car, it’s over for me.

”When I’m pushed and I’m falling down, it’s God… I can’t believe I have no scratch on my body.

For the very first time I went into the police cells. Nikaingia uko ndani nikapata wakenya, they were like 10, 12, people. They thought I was in there to record… I told them nimeshikwa, they were laughing… I was inside for 3 and  a half hours… The OCS and the OCPD were very nice to me. They said, kijana, next time usi fight na polisi…”

After the ordeal, Eric Omondi is not giving up on his plans just yet, his next demo is scheduled for Tuesday 23rd.

‘Watch It From Jail!’- Bien Hits Back At Eric Omondi After A Repost On Sauti Sol’s Concert

The beef between Sauti Sol’s Bien and comedian Eric Omondi remains unresolved. Bien showed resentment after Eric Omondi’s sentiment on Kenyan artists performing poorly and ‘sleeping’ on their job. Eric Omondi decided to change the narrative all by himself by heading to Parliament alone yesterday, November 16.

It was not a successful fete for the jester as he was arrested few hours after his protest to play 75% Kenyan music. It was a once in a lifetime ordeal for him since it was his first time in a police cell.

Eric’s Plan B

A few artists like KRG the Don supported him in his demonstrations; but arrived a little too late for the ‘party’. Eric is however, planning a 2nd demonstration next week on Tuesday.

KRG showed dissatisfaction with Kenyan artists for not showing up to support Eric even though he was fighting for them.

”Eric Omondi ako town ameshikwa, anapigania wasanii. Sijaona ata msanii mmoja uko… Mimi naenda town sahi, niko kwa njia naenda town kupigania Eric Omondi. In less than 2 hours, lazima akue ameachiliwa. Hakuna venye Eric anaeza kuwa amewekwa cell na wasanii wenye anapigania wanaongea tu uko kwa mtandao…”

This was however, not enough to convince artists like Bien to support him. As a matter of fact, he still thinks that Eric should have remained in his cell.

After Eric reposting a poster on Sauti Sol’s upcoming concert, Bien wrote back to him and said;

”People have been working on this for months. Don’t make it about you. Just keep on typing from your cell. Concert will be streaming live. Watch it from jail.”

Eric Omondi Arr*sted Outside Parliament During Play 75% Kenyan Music Protest (Video)

Eric Omondi has been arrested while conducting his protest for a 75% play for Kenyan music. The jester’s plans have been disrupted by police; and it seemed imminent since he had revealed his plans days ago. In a video that has made rounds on social media, Eric is seen being man-handled into a police vehicle; while he tries hard to resist.

Eric Omondi was joined by a few youth in his demonstrations; with police throwing teargas at them.

The comedian’s decision to take the complaint to parliament was expedited by the poor performance of Kenyan music compared to other African countries like Tanzania and Nigeria.

”I dont even know where to Start from????‍♂️????‍♂️????‍♂️????‍♂️. Mpaka naskia nauma na Kichwa already????.
