“As I write this post I want to ask god to always protect you and your dreams until our paths meet again. I hate goodbyes so it’s not a goodbye its more like a see you later. I will always be here for you anytime, any day @ericomondi ????”

Eric Omondi denies she conned woman accusing her on Facebook of hiring her car and failing to pay

Comedian Eric Omondi was recently on the spot for allegedly conning a woman who goes by the name Wambui.

According to a post shared on Group Kenya, Eric Omondi is being accused of ditching a car he had hired from a lady by the name of Wambui. Apparently Omondi ditched the car at Moi international airport 3 days after his show and headed to Nairobi without alerting the owner of the car. The police who towed the car claim it was  parked on a yellow line and the car keys had been thrown under the car.

Not in Mombasa

Omondi has however insisted that he doesn’t know the woman and will report her to the police for tarnishing her name.

“Hata sijui huyo mama ni nani. Nitampelekea polisi. Amenipatia free publicity. Everytime watu wanataja eric omondi, mimi hufurahi. Amenipatia free publicity.” said Omondi.

Omondi further added that he wasn’t even in Mombasa during that time as the woman suggested. But apparently, fans think that’s a straight lie. A quick look at his instagram, Omondi was actually in Mombasa on January 19th so someone is playing games with us.

Eric Omondi: I’m not having a wedding anytime soon. That story was fake

Eric Omondi has denied that he’s planning to marry his longtime girlfriend Chantal anytime soon.

The comedian accused bloggers of spreading rumors and said that he has never issued such a statement.

He also denied that he has paid dowry or made any other major move to ensure that Chantal becomes his wife.

I am not aware of any September wedding. I also read about my September wedding with Chantal and how I went to Italy and paid dowry. I keep asking myself where they get the stories from, not one person has called to ask me about this but I see stories out there just like you,” said Eric Omondi in an inteview with Pulselive.

Fake news

The comedian made the confession during a radio show. The news then spread everywhere and now he’s wondering how it all started.

He also denied that things are rocky between him and Chantal, who has been away since March and the two are no longer posting each other on social media.

Bro, Monday I read from blogs that I am wedding in September, today I hear that I have broken up with my fiancée where do these bloggers get the stories from because no one has called me. We are good and bloggers should get their facts right,” he said.

Bado niko! Eric Omondi denies Italian girlfriend has dumped him after her encrypted post on social media

Comedian Eric Omondi has come out to clear rumours that his girlfriend Chantal Grazioli has ditched him.

The comedian was forced to explain their relationship status to the public after his woman took to social media to send a very strange message that many were quick to conclude all is not well.

“It’s funny how you think you know someone but you actually don’t.” she posted.

Not concerned

Omondi, in an interview with Nairobinews, said that their marriage is strong and he’s not concerned about the rumours.

“Those are just rumours my girlfriend is currently out of the country and I am at the moment busy with my comedy work. People are just very funny I remember them telling me to stop with so much lovey dovey and concentrate on my comedy but know that I am doing it they still have something to say,” said Omondi.

A quick inspection of their social media timelines shows that the two haven’t been sharing pictures of each other for quite a while.

The two were lastly together in March so they are on serious dry spells (we hope). The post also comes just days after Eric promised that a wedding will come in 2019.
