So sad! Kenyan gospel icon, Emmy Kosgei exposed Kalenjin men for being too shy to profess their love to women.
The popular gospel artiste said ‘I Do’ to her 62-year old Nigerian husband back in 2013 and moved in with him in the West African country.
It is sad to note that, probably why the lady went looking for love outside Kenya’s and East Africa’s borders is because men back home were too shy to approach her for courtship.
Revelation
During her recent online interview with Alfred Koech via his Facebook page, Ms Kosgei shamed introverted Kalenjin men for holding onto love until it is too late.
The gospel Queen from the land of mursik who is about to turn 40 years, confessed that no Kalenjin man had sought her hand in marriage.
There is no Kalenjin man who came to me and told me they want to marry me. This is why sometimes one sees something is good but fails to speak up.
Bashing:
An example is a pan, you feel like having it but you do not put it in actions and when the pain is taken away by another person, you start questioning why.
Delving further regarding men from home, Emmy revealed that Kalenjin men can spend hours beating around the bush instead of outrightly asking a girl out.
The problem we have as a community is our people being introverts. Instead of someone hitting the nail on the head, they start asking the girl whether it rained at their place and seeking more details about their home which is not necessary.
Too late
Unfortunately, she disclosed that a good four Kalenjin men approached her but that was well after she tied the knot with Mr Anselm Madubuko.
What saddens her most is how majority of women known to her, from her home county in Kenya have also settled with Nigerian men.
Why should you fear? I know of a number of women from my community who are happily married to Nigerian men.
Advising:
Our men also go slow if they have been rejected instead of taking into social media to launch attacks.
