Eko Dydda posts clip with wife and kids to prove everything is fine in paradise

Rapper Eko Dydda was recently on the spot for allegedly kicking out his wife and kids.

Rumours about the rapper falling off with his wife filled social media forcing the rapper to come out and deny that he has gotten a younger woman to replace the mother of his two kids Amblessed Dydda and Keepitreal Dydda.

“You know me. I cannot dare do all that which is being alleged online. My wife and children are with me, and I do not know where that bad rumor came from. I, however, leave it to God to fight for me,” he said in an interview with Edaily.

Still together

Why Eko Dydda studied at Riverside Girls High School, an all-girls school

Gospel singer Eko Dydda has hustled his way up from a mere garbage collector to a renowned artist.

The singer recently opened up on some rather surprising information about his high school life saying that he went to an all-girls school.

Dydda said that he dropped out from Eastleigh Boys High School while in form 2 due to lack of school fees and became a garbage collector in an effort to raise the fees,  getting paid roughly Ksh 50 from the sale of waste polythene bags.

Luck

The Vidole hit singer then got lucky after one of his former teacher offered to pay half of his fees but, there was still one problem.

The only slot available was at Riverside Girls High School. Eko pushed his pride aside and enrolled in the girls’ school and had to repeat form two to catch up with the new curriculum.

“All I wanted was to go back to school so when the opportunity came calling, I was willing to compromise my pride especially because I knew I was not destined to be at a garbage site. I had to repeat classes because the syllabus had changed so I went back to form two so that I could catch up with the new curriculum. My performance went up because I was less distracted. I think that is where I mastered the art of being focused on the core purpose that is why I am rarely distracted by what others are doing and sometimes what they are saying,” he told Salon Magazine.

Eko Dydda and wife: We have agreed not to take our kids to school

With all the drama that is happening in schools nowadays, gospel singer Eko Dydda and his wife are calling it a pass. The two have decided they will home school their two kids Keepitreal Favour Dydda and Amblessed Wisdom Dydda.

Speaking in an interview with EVE, the couple shared that normal school system doesn’t fit their kids. Plus, they also don’t want other people raising their kids.

“My wife and I decided that public school and private did not work for us because we want to be present in our kids’ lives, and we did not want other people raising our kids. Plus, we believe that how school is structured these days turns children into robots who cannot do anything without asking the teacher or even simply reason,” he said.

Adding:

“We want our kids to be independent thinkers, to be able to reason and to know that they can chart their own destiny that they do not have to follow what everyone else is doing. We hope to home-school them until Campus if possible!”

The couple has always ensured their kids, who are also artists, are different. Regarding their names, Eko Dydda said that they choose their names in a way that would’t reveal their tribes.

“We did not want to give our children names that would align them to any tribe. I left the task of naming our children to him and I was totally ok with the names he came up with… I believe there is so much power in names. The sentence names are a name like any other,” his wife said in another interview.

Singer Eko Dydda chased away by drunk students before performance: He’ll start preaching to us

Gospel singer Eko Dydda can testify he recently had a direct encounter with Satan while trying to spread the word of God.

The Vidole hitmaker was recently forced to cancel his performance after drunk Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) chased him off demanding they want a secular artist.

Not today

The singer was set to perform at the cultural week but things turned ugly after students demanded he shouldn’t perform because he’ll start preaching to them.

“We do not want gospel singers in this mood. We need someone who can rock when we are this high. Eko will start preaching to us, let him go!” the students said.

Still, Satan didn’t win. Not completely. Fortunately, the event organizers had already paid him KSh. 50,000 to perform between 1 am and 4 am.

Being a mother of one, Lilian Muli looked quite comfortable around the two boys – which can also be seen in the caption she used on the photo she took with the boys. She wrote saying:
