Basically, Come Again is about this lass who is really obsessed with her partner and she just want to keep seeing him every now and then.

This jam is really infectious. I’ve listened to it a couple of times since it was released and every time I play it, it’s like I am hearing it for the very first time. Yup, it’s that good.

Lulu Diva has an amazing voice – the kind that most men, including myself, wouldn’t mind listening to all day even if it’s just a casual conversation. She also knows how to control it.

Lulu Diva

As expected, Eddy Kenzo also did a good job. Some of his lines are in his native Baganda language and this spices up the song. To add to that, he is also a good vocalist.

If you ask me, Lulu Diva and Eddy Kenzo really complement one another and they should do more songs together in the near future.

The beat and instrumentation on Sawa are impeccable. It is the kind of songs that will get you dancing from the time you hit the play button until it ends and that is not a bad thing, is it?

Watch Come Again below and tell us what you think. Enjoy!

Ugandan, Eddy Kenzo is back with a new single “Raha”

Ugandan, Eddy Kenzo is back with a new single  “Raha”. Raha is short form of a swahili word Furaha which means enjoyment, this is a party song encouraging everyone to have fun and enjoy life to the fullest.  Edrisa Kenzo Musuuza  has been among East Africa artists who have been doing well since 2014. In Raha, Eddy Kenzo is asking a girl named Raha to assure him if she is ready to marry him or not, because he is ready to fulfill her needs.

Production of Raha

There is creativity in the song. First the costumes are unique and the setting. Also the background of the song is good. Already, the introduction of the songs gives it life. In addition, the song starts with comedian Tr. Mpamire ringing the bell, gathering his students. This is a different feel, see how they respond. Raha is produced by Kuseim and directed by Eddy Kenzo himself with Aaron.

Also the video is in sync with the audio.  Eddy Kenzo is a great director himself. He has given this jam a touch that most people wouldn’t do. In his case, he shot the video in his homeland Uganda.

Lyrical Presentation

It starts with; “Tell me tody (eeh tell me today) Pesa ni mingi am ready (tell me today)”.  A lot of energy here. Actually, it drives one into the mood of the song.

Going on, there is this verse where he says; “Million dollar baby will you be my baby Conquer all my body Nakuwaza am ready
Tell me tody (eeh tell me today).”  He is obsessed with the girl and asks her to be her body conquerer. I don’t know if there has ever been a body Conquer, but this jam is great.

“Rahaa aaah, Rahaaa, Acha nikule raha, Rahaa aaah.  Let mi tchop my money. Acha nikule pesa.” This chorus brings out the title of the song Raha.

Generally, the song is great and goes with a rating of 7/10.

Bahati rushes to counter Willy Paul’s controversial ‘Digiri’ with a new jam featuring 2015 BET winner

Bahati and Willy Paul will never ceases to amaze you, they have consistently competed with each other to be the dominant force in gospel scene.

Perhaps it’s their determination to outshine each other that has made them to be in their own league. It is now clear that whenever Willy Paul releases a new song Bahati will do the same, or vice versa.

This has always been the case for years and 2017 is not different; Willy Paul started the year by dropping ‘I Do’ featuring Alaine and soon Bahati dropped ‘Nikumbushe’ featuring Rayvanny.

A few days ago Willy Paul dropped a controversial song dubbed ‘Digiri’, and guess who is dropping a new song this Friday June 9th?

Bahati has courted Ugandan dancehall singer Eddy Kenzo to drop a new song called ‘Barua Kwa Mama’. Kenzo is a music heavyweight who boasts of several hit songs and international recognition including BET award for Viewer’s Choice Best New International Artist 2015.

Bahati and Kenzo are seen donning school uniforms in their new video which is yet to be released. Below are behind-the-scene photos of their new song:

“It was misunderstanding” King Kaka absolves himself from blame and apologizes to Eddy Kenzo after publicly bashing him

A few days ago, King Kaka went HAM on Ugandan dancehall superstar Eddy Kenzo bashing him how he wasn’t qualified. The Kenyan rapper has since eaten the humble pie.

Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) named Eddy Kenzo as its brand ambassador and Kenyan musicians couldn’t take it – they openly expressed their dissatisfaction by KTB’s decision to choose a foreigner over them.

King Kaka

King Kaka in particular took KTB’s decision personally; he attacked Eddy Kenzo on various platforms saying that the Ugandan wasn’t qualified for the post.

“Ati Eddy Kenzo who is Ugandan is The Kenya Tourism Ambassador, acha tungoje Beyonce akuje aimbe National anthem yetu. Let me grab my popcorns this is a movie a very funny movie. Ufala. Si wapatie Nameless ama Wyre ama Mkenya random kwa streets. How about the whole Rugby Team who have been doing soo much to raise our flag high, I am sure ata hajui independence yetu Ni lini ata nimeenda mbali, ata colours za flag yetu. Ufala. Kesho kesho Vice President atatolewa Zimbabwe,” King Kaka bashed Eddy Kenzo in one of his posts.

Well, the Kenyan rapper has decided to apologize to Eddy Kenzo, reason being? He was misled by bloggers into attacking the Ugandan artiste.

Eddy Kenzo

“Congratulations to Eddy Kenzo on his new partnership with The Kenya Tourism Board. Actually the misunderstanding came with the title from bloggers , the campaign that Eddy Kenzo is headlining is titled #TugendeKenya which means lets to go to Kenya (if my Luganda serves me right) it’s telling Ugandans to come to Kenya to Explore (which to me that has more economic gain to Kenya as a Country ) I deeply apologize for my earlier post which I have taken down. Yoh Eddy Tugende Kenya and Asante Kenya Tourism Board on this partnership,” King Kaka wrote on Facebook.

King Kaka, Avril and other Kenyan artists grumble as Kenya Tourism Board appoints Eddy Kenzo as its brand ambassador

Ugandan dancehall artist Edrisa Musuuza known professionally by his stage name as Eddy Kenzo has been named the new ambassador of Kenya Tourism Board (KTB). And bush-league Kenyan musicians can’t take it.

Dr. Betty Adero Radier the Chief Executive Director of Kenya Tourism Board explained that it was prudent of them to consider a Ugandan artist since Uganda contributes highly among other East African states.

“Ugandan tourists contribute a very big percentage on the total number of tourists visiting Kenya, we decided to appoint Eddy Kenzo because many people in the region understand him very well,” Dr. Radier said while addressing members of the press at Sheraton Hotel Kampala.

“It’s a great honour and opportunity I have been given to promote the homage, culture, beauty, natural resource, infrastructure and tourism in general of my other mother country Kenya. Under the campaign Take a break #Tugendekenya #magicalKenya.” Eddy Kenzo said after his appointment.

Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) unveils Eddy Kenzo as its brand ambassador in Uganda and the whole East African Region.

Mseto East Africa broke the news to Kenyans on Instagram and Kenyan artists didn’t like it at all. King Kaka, Avril and other celebs were quick to show their disapproval.

Theavieway (Avril): ?????

Thecremedelacreme (DJ Creme De La Creme): ???????????

thekingkaka (King Kaka): Ujinga Mtupu, ujinga mtupu

djsulekenya???

What Kenyan artists failed to understand is that KTB chose value addition over patriotism. All of the Kenyan artists who were complaining about Kenzo’s appointment have NEVER won leave alone being nominated for any international award.

Eddy Kenzo won BET award for the ‘Viewer’s Choice Best New International Artist’ in 2015. He was also nominated for MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) in 2016.

Eddy Kenzo shows off the BET award he won

Talk of having influence across the continent, neither Avril nor King Kaka have ever performed ‘one-man show’ outside the boundaries of Kenya; last Saturday Eddy Kenzo filled a stadium in Guinea-Bissau, one-man show. And he’s having another concert in Ethiopia.

Eddy Kenzo performs in Bissau on Saturday May 6th

So, should Kenya Tourism Board pick Kenyan artists as its brand ambassador over foreign artists who add value to their campaign?
