Boxer Conjestina Achieng’ was on Friday November 2nd flown to the capital for treatment courtesy of Nairobi governor Mike Sonko.
Conje’s situation has elicited mixed reactions. Some people blamed Nyanza leaders including Raila Odinga for neglecting the sickly boxer.
City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has however rubbished claims Raila neglected Conjestina. The flamboyant lawyer termed these claims as malicious.
Ida’s help
Kipkorir reminds Kenyans that on September 5th 2012 Raila’s wife Ida Odinga rushed to the rescue of Conjestina when her health deteriorated.
“Some years ago, when Conjestina Achieng went off the rail, Yvonne Khamati asked me that we help her. We assisted her. Later, when she became unwell again, I asked Silas Jakakimba & Mama Ida that we help her & we did … To blame Baba Raila Odinga for her situation is MALEVOLENT,” Donald Kipkorir tweeted.
Asked who is to be blamed for Conjestina’s situation, Kipkorir said that only the doctor who treated the boxer should explain why she didn’t get better.
Nairobi Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has shared his sentiments after Jacque Maribe was given bail and Jowi Irungu denied one by High Court Judge James Wakiaga.
According to the judge, Irungu was denied bail because he’s as a male version of a slay queen and has no house to go to a thing that Kipkorir says shows the judge was biased.
“A male version of a slay queen, which for lack of a better word, I’ll call a woman eater. He was living in the house of the second accused. driving the second accused’s car, with no known source of income since 2017 when he provided security for some Jubilee politicians,” said Wakiaga.
Bail
On Twitter, Kipkorir responded to Justice Wakiaga’s ruling insisting he failed the ultimate pillars that make a good judge.
“Have read the full ruling of Justice James Wakiaga. With tremendous deference to him, he went beyond the threshold on rulings for Bail. He seems to believe Jowie Irungu is guilty & Jackie Maribe innocent. A Judge must be Courteous, Wise, Sober & Impartial. The Judge failed all,” he tweeted.
The court’s decision saw Maribe released on KSh 2 million bail while Jowie was denied bail. He will remain in remand ahead of countless trials scheduled for 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th and 27th of June 2019.
Have read the full ruling of Justice James Wakiaga. With tremendous deference to him, he went beyond the threshold on rulings for Bail. He seems to believe Jowie Irungu is guilty & Jackie Maribe innocent. A Judge must be Courteous, Wise, Sober & Impartial. The Judge failed all.
Yeah, it was more of a judgement than a ruling to an application. He’d have simply expressed that Irungi is a flight risk and cannot be granted bail at this stage. That was overly biased ruling & a clear overstepping of mandate on the part of the honorable judge.
Question for MY FRIEND, Chief Justice (rtd) Dr Willy Mutunga: Is there a UNIFIED THEORY of JUSTICE in our Judiciary? Does a 'WOMAN Eater' (whatever that means) have the same CONSTITUTIONAL right to BAIL as " a SLAY QUEEN"? ( A Pedestrian term used by TABLOIDS) "james wakiaga"
Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir has moved to High Court seeking an order to compel Baringo county government to pay him Kes 17.5 million.
Kipkorir was hired in May 2015 to represent Baringo county government in a lawsuit against Turkana county government over boundary dispute.
The rich lawyer is one of the most prominent lawyers in Kenya, he has represented big name in politics and showbiz including Larry Madowo in a defamation case against Cyprian Nyakundi.
Won but no pay
Kipkorir is furious Baringo county government won’t pay him Kes 17.5 million legal fee despite winning the case for them. In June last year, Justice John Mativo ordered that he be paid the full sum.
He moved to High Court to seek an order to compel Baringo county government to pay him the full amount after they failed to heed the ruling of the lower court. Kipkorir wants his money within five days.
“I acted for the county in the case until a judgement was given in their (Baringo’s) favour. They initially refused to settle my legal fees, forcing me to move to High Court,” said Kipkorir.
Flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir on a few weeks ago came out to slam NTV’s Olive Burrows claiming that the new news anchor has also bleached after joining TV.
Taking to Twitter, Kipkorir shared a tweet saying that Kenyan TV might be forcing anchors to turn their skin since almost everyone of them has bleached.
“Burrows Kalekye Olive then at Capital FM & Now at Nation TV… Do Kenyan TV Stations demand skin colouration as part of the requirement for employment? Why do we sacrifice Black Beauty at the Vanity Altar Of White Skin? Have a Blessed Sunday.” He tweeted.
Lighting
Former KTN news anchor Beatrice Marshall has shot down his argument and defended Burrows insisting that she has not bleached. Taking to Twitter, the news anchor gave example of people such as Lillian Muli, Yvonne Okwara and Anne Kiguta saying that they haven’t bleached.
“#Kenyan TV also has @AnneKiguta @lillian_muli @YvonneOkwara and many others with beautiful dark skin. And they are amazing at what they do. And TV lights make one’s skin look a shade lighter.” Read Beatrice’s tweet.
Her example, however, might not be correct. All the ladies she has mentioned have been accused of bleaching before. A photo that was trending recently even show that they might have all bleached.
Kenyans may have been exposed to harmful chemicals after it emerged cartels have been importing sugar that contains harmful substance like mercury and other metallic elements.
Several people and companies including president Uhuru’s younger brother Muhoho Kenyatta have been implicated in the importation of contraband sugar.
Rich lawyer Donald Kipkorir has decided to take cautionary step to protect himself and his family from consuming harmful sugar that might still be available on the market.
Sugar from UK
The flamboyant lawyer imported his own sugar from UK to consume at his home. Kipkorir took to social media to share a copy of the of shipping invoice to prove he imported his sugar from England.
“As Kenya allowed One Billion Kilograms Of unprocessed Sugar to be imported, most of which has been re-packaged for domestic consumption, I have abandoned Sugar packaged in Kenya. Henceforth, I will be using sugar packaged in England, my Beloved Colonial Power,” wrote Donald Kipkorir.
Miguna Miguna was not spared by flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir when he attacked him. Most people usually choose to ignore Miguna but Kipkorir went HAM on him.
The whole drama started after Kipkorir met Raila Odinga. A jealous Miguna described the meeting as a gathering of a traitor (Raila Odinga) and unscrupulous Jubilee chauvinist (Donald Kipkorir).
A chauvinistic @JubileePartyK buccaneer meeting a traitor: nothing refreshing.
Donald Kipkorir responded to Miguna Miguna’s gibe in an open letter. The flamboyant lawyer said Miguna is a soulless person who doesn’t deserve to return to Kenya.
“When you were deported, i stood up for you. But you are a person with no soul, no gratitude. It seems, abusing others gives you a testosterone rush. Unlike you, I don’t betray confidences. You break the very basic rule of the legal profession. You betray all secrets, real and imagined. You are worse than a Harlot. Prostitutes don’t even betray their customers. You don’t deserve to return to Kenya. Kenya is better off without you,” wrote Kipkorir in part.
Donald Kipkorir is determined to have hawkers driven out of the leafy Karen suburb. The flamboyant lawyer claims hawkers are jeopardizing Karen’s serenity.
Kipkorir first raised the alarm about hawker infestation of Karen on January 11th 2018. He wrote an open letter to Sonko asking him to drive hawkers out;
Dear H.E Mike Sonko & H.E Polycarp Igathe
Make Nairobi A Livable City
The pictures below are of Karen Town now … I was driving to the Hub for shopping before I go home. The Karen Town roundabout is chocked with Matatus, hawkers & Kiosks. People choose to live in different parts of Nairobi because of the City’s Masterplan. People choose Karen because it is supposed to be quiet and serene.
The World’s most beautiful and livable cities are Melbourne, Vienna, Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland, Helsinki and Hamburg and isn’t accidental. They score the highest in the categories of security, stability, healthcare, culture and environment. These cities attract the highest FDI and tourists because of how they are.
For Nairobi to be centre Of Investment, Tourism and Diplomatic & Global Corporate City, it should strive and be a livable city. When you now take away the historical serenity and beauty of Karen, you lose the whole city.
We have a Masterplan… like the above cities, stick with the Masterplan.
Kenya is a Capitalist Country .. Not a Socialist Paradise
Karen, A Town Once Serene, Now In Chaos
Kipkorir has once again reiterated calls to have hawkers kicked out of Karen. He shared photos of Karen and Franschhoek in South Africa to demonstrate how hawkers have turned Karen into a ghetto.
“Karen, A Town Once Serene, Now In Chaos
Franschhoek, South Africa: A Serene City
“It is because can’t respect basic City By-Laws, That we find it so easy to steal from NYS & NCPB ….. If you can’t respect small laws, you can’t fear big laws. Corruption is by the thieves who steal public money & those traders & matatus who don’t respect City Planning Laws. Corruption is Corruption. Wealth or Poverty is no excuse,” wrote Kipkorir.
Larry Madowo was shocked after Daily Nation refused to publish his opinion piece. Nation’s refusal comes after government crackdown on ‘errant’ media houses.
Surprisingly CNN picked Madowo’s opinion piece and published it after Daily Nation refused. The article titled ‘Why it’s a perilous time to be a journalist in Kenya’ addresses the intimidation of journalists by the government.
Larry Madowo, Ken Mijungu and Linus Kaikai were to be arrested by police for speaking against media shutdown in the wake of Raila Odinga’s swearing in.
“This week, the @dailynation refused to print my column for the first time in nearly 4 years. The irony aside, the same piece is now published on CNN,” wrote Larry Madowo.
Reactions
Larry’s opinion piece has elicited mixed reactions. There are those who patted him on the back while others think he shouldn’t question his employer.
Lawyer Donald Kipkorir congratulated Larry for standing up to his employer. He says Nation’s refusal to publish his article only opened doors of opportunity for Larry.
“One ill-advised local administrative act has given you global opening … As they say, when one window closes, a door opens … LM, you belong to the World, not a Village they want to pigeon you,” Donald Kipkorir tweeted.
Uhuru’s lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi however had no nice words to tell Madowo. He says Larry is not a self respecting journalist and should resign from NMG for passing a vote of no confidence in his employer.
“That is a vote of no confidence by your employer…and any self respecting journalist (and you are undoubtedly one) will have no option but resign from the employment service of such an employer,” Ahmednasir Abdullahi tweeted.
Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU) called Donald Kipkorir a ‘slay queen lawyer’. The PSCU was forced to eat the humble pie after Kipkorir threaten to take legal action.
Kenyans were taken aback when PSCU decided to abuse Donald Kipkorir. For starters, PSCU is the official communication channel of president Uhuru Kenyatta’s office.
The tweef between PSCU and Donald Kipkorir started when the lawyer called out Sonko and his deputy. Kipkorir blames Sonko for failing to stop hawkers and matatus from operating in the leafy Karen suburb.
“Your Excellencies Gov. @MikeSonko & Dep. Gov @IgathePolycarp , when we moved to Karen, we thought we were climbing up Maslow Hierarchy … But what are kiosks, matatus & mitumba clothes doing here? Where is our Masterplan? Kenya is a Capitalist State. Let Karen be Karen,” Donald Kipkorir tweeted.
PSCU quickly replied at Kipkorir’s tweet by taking a swipe at him. PSCU referred the flamboyant lawyer as a slay queen and socialite who didn’t have the capacity to engage Sonko or Igathe on any issue.
PSCU violated Chapter 6 Of our Constitution
Donald Kipkorir tagged DPP Keriako Tobiko and EACC’s Halakhe Wako in his reply to PSCU tweet on him. The lawyer says PSCU violated Chapter 6 Of the Constitution.
“Keriako Tobiko @ODPP_KE , Halakhe Wako @EACCKenya & @NziokaWaita … Demanding you take action against the person who in violation of Chapter 6 Of our Constitution & Public Officer Ethics Act used @PSCU_Digital to abuse me: abuse of office, corruption & denigrating Public office,” Donald Kipkorir tweeted.
We agree the tweet was inappropriate
PSCU apologized to Donald Kipkorir over the controversial tweet. They deleted the tweet from their timeline and said they were taking action against the person who tweeted it.
“We apologize for the tweet that appeared on our timeline. We agree it was inappropriate. It has been deleted. Thanks for pointing it out. Administrative action has been taken,” PSCU said.
Flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir is among Nasarites who are stranded after Supreme Court locked the gates of Canaan on Monday.
Chief Justice David Maraga upheld Uhuru’s win in October 26th repeat presidential election. Nasa supporters are still waiting for Joshua’s instructions on what to do next.
I opted for Mediterranean Therapy
Meanwhile Donald Kipkorir decided to look neat while waiting for Raila’s direction. The flamboyant lawyer flew in his personal tailor from Italy to take measurements for more suits.
Kipkorir explains that new suits help him feel good following the setback by Supreme Court ruling. He says his sartorial elegance must remain on point even when the Canaan dream is now a mirage.
“When The Canaan Trip Stalled, I Opted For Mediterranean Therapy! To heal from political trauma, I asked my Italian Tailor, Roberto Rizzotti to come take measurements for more suits … We can lose on political lanes, but not on sartorial ones. Life must go on,” Donald Kipkorir wrote.
Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir is going to be a father soon. Kipkorir’s wife Noni Weru showed the great work her husband did during her baby shower.
Donald and Weru got engaged in December 2016 while they were on holiday. The outspoken lawyer popped the big question to his sweetheart aboard a commercial flight.
Well, Donald and Noni Weru are expecting their first child soon. The heavily pregnant Noni flaunted her baby bump during her baby shower held over the past weekend.
Noni also revealed that she was expecting a baby boy. The unborn baby will be Noni’s second child, she has an older daughter from her previous marriage.
Photos of children voting during October 26th repeat presidential election caused a stir on social media. Netizens now claim Ekuru Aukot is the biggest beneficiary of underage voters.
Ekuru Aukot caused mouths to wag when he was seen campaigning in Naivasha a week ago. Majority of the people who attended Aukot’s rally were children.
Flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir trolled the Thirdway Alliance presidential candidate over the Naivasha rally. Kipkorir shared a photo of Aukot’s rally and sarcastically said that he was addressing a mammoth crowd.
“My friend Dr. Ekuru Aukot, addressing a mammoth crowd of voters in Naivasha, Nakuru County,” Kipkorir’s hilarious tweet read.
Aukot benefits from underage voters
Yesterday October 26th social media was awash with photos of children voting in repeat presidential election. The authenticity of the photos could not be established though the photos were not photoshopped.
Netizens now claims the kids voted because of Aukot’s rally in Naivasha. Donald Kipkorir says Aukot’s underage supporters were registered voters that why he focused his campaign in Naivasha.
“We laughed when my friend campaigned .. Now you can see his voters were registered … #KenyaPoll” Kipkorir tweeted.

Jimmy Wanjigi’s houses in Malindi and Nairobi were raided by police on Monday. Police suspected Wanjigi had been working with several people to bring guns into the country using different entry points.
5 AK-47 rifles and 93 bullets were recovered during the raid. The raid at Wanjigi’s house in Malindi followed a court order to ransack it
Donald Kipkorir’s doubts
Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir says police arranged the guns and bullets without having designated the place a crime scene.
Kipkorir explains that the gun’s real owner will not be known since police tampered with forensics. The lawyer further stated that the raid at Wanjigi’s home echoes the past dark days in Kenya.
Below is what Kipkorir wrote:
Raid On Jimmi Wanjigi’s House & Echoes Of The Past
Today, the Police in a choreographed manner raided a house in Malindi and tipped the media that it was Jimmi Wanjigi’s holiday home and had cache of guns. Some parts of mainstream media excitedly reported it as the truth! Thank God, we gave up on ethical journalism in Kenya.
We saw the Policemen arranging the guns and bullets without having designated the place a crime scene. Any forensics on the guns is now useless. We will never know who owned the guns.
Then later, the media was directed to JW’s house in Muthaiga. It was sad seeing old and frail Maina Wanjigi going to protect his son. I wish the Police will act with same alacrity at all times against anyone committing any crime. Selective application of the law eats away the foundation of our nationhood.
Then it reminded me of 1993. I was a rookie lawyer in my first year of employment in the law firm of Senator Moses Wetang’ula. In Ndeiya, Limuru, Six Kikuyus were arrested by Moi Government and accused of robbing a Police Station and stealing guns to cause chaos. They were tortured and abused before being brought to court. Wetang’ula asked me to represent them. The case was hogwash and false. The Prosecution couldn’t prove anything. The Six were acquitted. The only “crime” of the Six is because they were Kikuyus and Democratic Party activists.
Ndeiya Six was one of the first of less than ten criminal cases I did. The story of Jimmi Wanjigi has the echoes of Ndeiya Six. It is like we are back to 1990’s. History repeats itself, first as a tragedy then as a farce, as said by Karl Marx.
Flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir sparked a storm with his tweet which saw Moses Kuria and Francis Ole Kaparo – the Chairperson of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) sucked into it.
Kipkorir argued that Jubilee MPs Moses Kuria and Ngunjiri Wambugu were allowed to demean the Luo community with no action taken upon them.
“Why are MPs Ngunjiri Wambugu & Moses Kuria allowed to demean the Luo Community everyday? Isn’t it ethnic profiling for political gain?” Donald Kipkorir tweeted.
Moses Kuria quickly tweeted back asking the flamboyant lawyer to mention instances where he disrespected the Luo Community through his actions.
Kipkorir remained mum as tweeps started throwing words at Kuria reminding him how he was the lord of prejudice and bigotry. (The tweets were vary tribal thus couldn’t be shared here)
Francis Ole Kaparo was forced to defend his integrity when a tweep claimed National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) was selective in carrying out its mandate.
NCIC (through it’s official twitter handle) also tried to absolve itself from any blame as tweeps maintained that it had failed to stop perpetrator of hate and disunity.
Flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir has openly stated why he ditched his friend Uhuru Kenyatta in favor of a Raila Odinga presidency.
Kipkorir, a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, stated that both Uhuru and Raila are sons of Kenya’s founding fathers but clarified that he will be voting for Raila because he wants to show that Kenya can still prosper without either a Kikuyu or Kalenjin president.
“Why I Am Voting Raila
“Most Kenyan votes vote along tribal lines without any debate, and I don’t begrudge. In 2022, I will vote for William Ruto without persuasion. But I will not vote because I hate other tribes or other candidates. I have never harbored any hatred or hate in my breast.
“The Presidential Race is now between two Princelings: Son of Jomo and Son of Jaramogi. Kenya’s two true Royal families. Majority of Kikuyus will vote for Uhuru, and Majority of Luos will vote Raila.
“Other tribes will vote for historical reasons and affiliations.
“Others will cast a negative vote; Voting for one candidate because they hate the other. Negative vote also cuts across the big tribes. Some tribes have been socialized to hate other tribes.
“I want to vote RAO not because of any of the above reasons. I consider both Princelings my friends though our backgrounds are as different as day and night. My vote is purely a mental trip …. I want to show that Kenya without either a Kikuyu or Kalenjin President wouldn’t be hit by an asteroid. And that Luos are just like you and I. When we all cross this mental bridge, we will be like Germany: holding General Elections and a global Marathon same day.”
IEBC Chief Electoral Officer Ezra Chiloba is under pressure to quit following claims that he orchestrated the rigging of August 8th presidential election.
Nasa has even threatened to boycott October 17th repeat election is IEBC retains Chiloba and a team of other officials said to have been involved in the tampering of results.
Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir has since written an open letter to Ezra Chiloba giving him free constitutional advise that could resolve the impasse if the IEBC CEO heeds to it.
Below is Kipkorir’s open letter to Chiloba:
Dear Dr. Ezra Chiloba, When Baba Says Go, You Will Go
Prof. JB Ojwang, Justice of the Supreme Court, taught me Constitutional Law at the University of Nairobi, and one of his pet topics was Extra-Constitutional Power. He taught me that power was not derived from the Constitution only; that other persons with charisma derived theirs outside it. You may hate it or disbelief it, but it is undeniable that Baba is the most charismatic leader alive in Kenya (DP is close second). Charisma originates from the Greek word, Khàrisma… gift of grace .. Max Weber, the German Polymath said that Charisma rests on true devotion of the person’s followers. Baba derives his power outside the Constitution.
Many times, Baba has said so and so MUST GO, including my Nation’s first leader, President Daniel Arap Moi. When he told Issack Hassan, then IEBC Chairman, to go, I advised him to go and he refused. But finally, he left.
The Constitution is very clear: it creates the offices of the IEBC Chairman in particular & the Commissioners generally. The Constitution gives powers to the Commission to conduct Elections. The Secretariat which you head isn’t a creature of the Constitution. You and your officers don’t have security of tenure. Your employment is subject to The Employment Act. The Chairman has all right to dismiss or suspend you. For now, you may countermand the Chairman orders. But your disobedience of the Chairman is self-serving and short-lived. No other employer will trust you.
But as for Baba’s demand that you go, you must go. You may delay. You may prevaricate. But as sure as the sun sets, you will go. So, don’t scuttle the Elections of October 17. The Presidential Fresh Elections between Baba and Uhuru Kenyatta will be held when you are gone. Be an honourable man and GO! You will thank me in future.
Apparently Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria could be gay after all, flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir says this is the only logical thought that explains his obsession with Raila Odinga’s genitalia.
Moses Kuria has dominated talks on interwebs thanks to his scathing attacks on Raila Odinga. The Gatundu South MP has repeatedly blasted the Nasa leader for being uncercumsicised – claims he can’t substantiate.
This time round Kuria’s obsession with Raila’s genitalia has spurred speculations that he could be gay. Rich lawyer Donald Kipkorir was quick to subscribe to this school of thought after Kuria made another remark about Raila’s genitalia.
“Why is Moses Kuria obsessed with Baba’s genitalia? Does he want Baba to sleep with him? Does Moses know 80% of World pop doesn’t circumcise?” Donald Kipkorir tweeted.
Kipkorir’s tweet sparked a chain reaction on twitter, some tweeps supported his speculation about Kuria’s sexuality while others dismissed his tweet as being too vulgar.
While ordinary Kenyans were struggling to board buses to travel upcountry to vote, rich lawyer Donald Kipkorir just got in a chopper and flew to the polling station in Elgeyo Marakwet voted and flew back to the city the same day.
Kipkorir is known for his flamboyance, he loves to spend big. The rich lawyer caused a stir on August 8th when he landed on a chopper in Cheptongei just to cast his vote.
The popular lawyer travelled back to Nairobi the same day to watch election results after he cast his vote.
“Voted in Cheptongei ….now back to Nairobi to wait for the results … We have made our choices .. It is now IEBC to give us the results … No matter the outcome, we have ONE Kenya …” Kipkorir wrote on social media.
Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir has thrown his weight behind Raila Odinga’s candidacy to the surprise of many people.
Kipkorir was a staunch supporter of William Ruto and as early as February this year he wrote an open letter to president Uhuru warning him against messing with the DP. The rich lawyer is also a good friend of the deputy president and his family.
Kipkorir’s change of heart took many people by surprise, the flamboyant lawyer is now endorsing Raila Odinga for Kenya’s top job.
Kipkorir made it clear that he was fully supporting the Nasa flag bearer when he met him last night ahead of Raila’s campaign in Elgeyo Marakwet sometime today.
“Tonight, I had One-on-One dinner at Talisman Restaurant with H.E Raila Odinga … And for three hours, we discussed all topics relating to Kenya … am humbled & privileged to be 100% behind his presidential bid … And I look forward to his presidency. Tomorrow, he goes to my mother County of Elgeyo Marakwet to spell out his vision for my people. The maize, wheat, pyrethrum, milk, Athletics, tea, horticultural & tourism industry of my people will be dealt with in his presidency. And our security and roads will be fixed. Let Canaan be! Let Canaan come!” Kipkorir wrote.
Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir has slammed Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua whom he compared to Prophet Dr. David Owuor.
Kipkorir is fond of speaking his mind and on 7th May 2017 he gave governor Mutua a piece of his mind. The rich lawyer took to twitter to show his support for Wavinya Ndeti – Wiper Party flag bearer for Machakos gubernatorial seat.
Kipkorir said he was supporting Wavinya Ndeti because Alfred Mutua was like Prophet Dr. David Owuor selling false dreams to Kenyans.
“My support for Wavinya Ndeti for Governor of Machakos is bec Dr. Alfred Mutua like Dr. David Owuor sells false dreams. Not good for Kenya,” Donald Kipkorir tweeted.
Prophet Dr. David Owuor, the leader of Ministry of Repentance and Holiness church, is a controversial preacher whom critics say is a false prophet.
Mombasa governor Hassan Joho has been under fire ever since it was revealed that he scored D- in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam.
Joho is however proud of his grade, he argued that his score in KSCE should be an inspiration to many since it proved that failing in national examinations wasn’t a guarantee that one would also fail in life.
Donald Kipkorir couldn’t agree more with the Mombasa governor, even though he’s a fanatic of Deputy President William Ruto (Joho’s woes are attributed to Jubilee, President Uhuru to be precise.)
The wealthy lawyer, who is a University of Nairobi alumnus, said that not even the exam body can take away the lottery ticket of life that the heaven has assigned one.
Kipkorir listed inventors, celebrities and billionaires who were academic dwarfs but ‘conquered’ the world with their accomplishments in their respective fields.
“Scoring “D” in exams is not failing in life; no one, not even an exam body can take away the lottery ticket of life that the heavens has assigned you
“Failing In School Isn’t Failing In Life. In Kenya, with a population of 46million, less than 600,000 are graduates … Can anyone say that 45million plus Kenyans are doomed?
“The following people “failed” in School and dropped out of Primary School ….. They were condemned by their Societies, but we owe our civilization to them: … Read about them.
“Sir Isaac Newton, Walt Disney, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Dick Cheney, George Foreman, Michael Faraday, Gregor Johann Mendel, Richard Branson, Aretha Franklin, R. H. Macey, Col. Harland David Sanders, Charles Darwin, Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison, Jack Horner … And our Prof. Ali Mazrui failed in Form Four.. And our Pres. Daniel Arap Moi was a Primary School teacher … Michael Joseph who built Safaricom, didn’t go to any college!
“All above scored D in School ….” Kipkorir wrote.
The flamboyant lawyer also insisted that scoring a D didn’t mean one was stupid, he explained that it meant the exams were not suitable for the student.
“Scoring D doesn’t mean you are stupid … it may mean that the exams were not suitable for you …
It is truly sad when we deligitimize people because of an exam done in one day or one week … Those throwing stones at people scoring “D”, will one day agree to join a mob to throw stones at those seen as “poor” or “witches” or “apostate” or “the other tribe” …”
