Diamond Platnumz used a six-seat Italian-made helicopter during his tour of Rwanda. The Tanzanian singer is said to have bought the Kes 654 million chopper.
Section of Tanzanian news outlet reported that Diamond had bought a chopper for his recent tour which saw him perform in D.R Congo and Rwanda.
The rumors started when the singer was seen showing off the chopper on social media; he posed in front of the chopper with his manager Sallam Sharaff aka Mendez.
The truth is that Diamond didn’t buy the chopper; the ‘Fire’ hit maker and his crew arrived in Rwanda from Goma, Eastern D.R Congo on a Land Cruiser SUV. Diamond was the then airlifted from Rwanda/D.R Congo border in AgustaWestland A109S helicopter which is owned by Akagera Aviation – a Rwandan based aviation company headquartered in Kigali that provides helicopter services within Rwanda and neighbors in the East Africa community.
The AgustaWestland A109S Grand is a light six-seat twin-engine multi-purpose helicopter produced by the British-Italian manufacturer Agusta (today AgustaWestland). This helicopter type is mostly operated for passenger transport (executive also) and emergency medical service (EMS) by civil operators.
