‘Another day another billions’ Diamond Platnumz thanks God after lucrative deal with Pepsi

If you have noted Diamond Platnumz has suddenly started drinking Pepsi and is carrying the drinking all over, it’s because he has signed a lucrative deal worth millions to endorse the drink.

The singer, who also endorses many other products, landed the deal late last month. Pepsi will also be among the sponsors of Wasafi Festival which is already in high gear.

Taking to social media, Diamond thanked God for the deal saying that it’s all because of his fans.

“Another day another billions….. Mwenyez mungu nakushkuru sana kwa upendo na baraka zako za kila siku…tafadhali naomba uendelee kunipa moyo wa upendo, kuthamini, kusameh, kujali na nguvu ya kuzidi kuwatumikia na kuwashika mkono vijana wenzangu mtaani…maana naamini unijaliacho si changu bali ni kama daraja tu la kuwa fikishia vijana wenzangu… @pepsi_tz nawapenda mpaka naumwa!!!” he posted. 

Other endorsements that the singer has include Belaire and Vodacom.

Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz is not worried after losing his expensive chains during the weekend while promoting Wasafi Festival which has  officially kicked off.

Diamond was performing at a place called Mtwara in Tanzania and was mobbed with thousands of people and in the process, someone managed to walk away with his chains.

The chains, which were made from pure white gold and diamonds, costs the singer a clean 1.8 million Kenyan shillings.

Underestimated the thief

The singer told a Tanzanian based radio station that he hadn’t thought that his jewellery would loosen so he wasn’t afraid that someone might jack them.

“Zile ni white gold na diamond nilinunua marekani sikumbuki lakini hazishuki millioni arubanne.nilijua haziwezi kung’oka, alivyotokea mtu ghafla akazipull nikapatwa na shock.” he said. 

Diamond, however, wasn’t really sad or angry that they were stolen. In fact, he said he’ll assume he gifted the thief.

“Lakini mwenyezi mungu ndio anapanga kila kitu na wakati mwingine labda mungu alitaka nitoe viwe sadaka na kwa support walonipa ina dhamani kubwa kuliko zile vitu na vinazo zingine kibao. Mi naona ni freshi tu kama baraka yake, zawadi yake.” he said. 

Diamond Platnumz’ manager Babu Tale mourning

Diamond Platnumz’ manager Babu Tale is in mourning after losing his father in-law, Mzee Kombo, who passed away on Wednesday night.

On Instagram, a sad Tale shared the news informing his fans and asking for prayers. Together with Diamond, the manager is currently in the U.S. where they are touring and promoting “A Boy From Tandale” album. 

“Pole @shammynailsnspa Mungu akutie nguvu katika kipindi hiki kigumu mkewangu najiona kama nipae nifike tz usiku huu. Umepoteza baba na mimi nipo mbali najiona kama sijui nina nini hapa nilipo. RIP mzee Kombo” wrote Babu Tale.

Diamond’s special message to Magufuli after Tanzania bought a plane

Singer Diamond Platnumz is currently in the US for tour but is still monitoring everything happening at home. The Tanzanian singer is on his “A Boy From Tandale” album tour but took time to send a special message back home after Tanzanian acquired their first state owned jet.

Taking to social media, Diamond sent a message to President John Pombe Magufuli for the big move saying that travelers have been getting a hard time while jetting out the country.

Here’s what he said:

“Super Proud of my President and My Government….Binafsi ilikuwa inaniumiza sana kuona nchi yetu inakosa kuwa na Shirika lake lenyewe la Ndege… Walau Leo hii nasi tumepata cha kujivunia mbele za watu, na naamini huu ni mwanzo tu Mengi yako njiani….Wasiopenda kufanya kazi na Kulipa Kodi ndio watalalamikia Uongozi wako maana wanataka vya Ubwete, au Maisha ya Mkato.. ila mie binafsi nafurahishwa na Uongozi wako maana sio Mtu wa Ahadi, Ni Mtu wa Vitendo, yaani Unalolisema Unatekeleza haswa….Na nchi Haiwezi Kujengwa Bila Kuwa na Pesa, na Naamini moja ya njia kuu ya Nchi Kuingiza pesa ni kupitia Kodi” wrote Diamond.

Diamond Platnumz’ most trusted bodyguard, Mwarabu Fighter, was recently involved in a freak accident that left him in hospital with a cracked skull after the motorcycle he was riding collided with another as they both tried to overtake a lorry.

Lucky to be alive

Mwarabu has now come out to share that he’s lucky to be alive and updated fans on his progress saying that he’s feeling much better.

“Namshukuru mwenyezi mungu kwa kuniwezesha kuiona siku ya leo maana kama sio mapenzi yake inawezekana kabsa leo hii nisinge kuwepo kutokana anajali mbaya sana nilio nusurika…” mwarabu said.

Diamond: I visit Zari yes but I have not asked for forgiveness

Word has be doing round that Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz has reconciled with estranged wife Zari Hassan after the singer was spotted several times in their South African home.

Diamond however claims that he was just visiting his kids who are with Zari. Speaking to a local website, the singer shot down any link that he has been asking for another chance.

“Hao wanaosema kwamba sijui nimemuangukia , nafikiri itakuwa ni maoni yao tu na stori za kutunga lakini kimsingi ni kwamba hayana ukweli wowote, Zari ni mama wa watoto wangu na itabaki kuwa hivyo,” he said.

Two of Diamond Platnumz managers Sallam SK and Babu Tale are currently been hunted by Police in Tanzania according to Clouds FM’s, Soudy Brown.

News that the two managers are being looked for by police after sharing damaging information on social media.

“Jeshi la Polisi kanda maalum Dar es salaam limetoa taarifa ya kutafutwa na kukamatwa popote walipo Babu Tale na Sallam Sk. Kwa ajili ya tuhuma ya uhalifu wa kusambaza video ya Udhalilishaji kupitia mtandao wa Instagram. Source. Central Police” shared Soudy Brown of Clouds TV/FM.

In Tanzania, celebrities have been heavily monitored by authorities regarding what they post on social media. Their boss, Diamond Platnumz has had several encounters with the police after suspected he’s sharing explicit content.

There has been a lot that has been said about Diamond Platnumz and Alikiba. Actually no one thinks the two artists would reconcile over their unknown beef; but seems like Wasafi’s CEO is getting over it!

Shortly after launching Wasafi TV yesterday, the now popular music TV on Channel 122 on the Azam Decoder left many talking after playing Kiba’s song.

Diamond Platnumz reveals his reasons for supporting Kiba

Well, having beefed for years; this came as a major surprise to fan who quickly went on to share screenshots on Instagram. This comes shortly after Diamond Platnumz told Times FM’s Playlist show;

Ringtone has made it obvious that he is now interested in Zari Hassan now that she is a single woman.

In a recent interview the gospel singer came out to ask for Zari’s hand in marriage as he is ready to settle down unlike Diamond Platnumz.

Speaking to Pulse Magazine Ringtone has gone further to reveal when he is so interested in the lady even though he knows he cannot have her. He said,

“I have been following the Zari story for a long time. She is a nice lady who needs the good life and Jesus as well. First of all, I want to help her see the light. She needs a born again man, I have what it takes to get a lady of her class. In fact, I am ready to get my Karen house ready for her.”

Ringtone went on to suggest that the reason Zari was tired of Diamond Platnumz is because she finally realized that he has no money to support her.  Anyway, but as for him he is willing to give her everything she wants and much more just to ensure she is happy.
