In a heartfelt TikTok video, Marcus disclosed that years of alcohol addiction have led to Chameleone’s condition, which has also contributed to his noticeable weight loss.

Marcus expressed frustration with public criticism of his mother, Daniella Atim, stating that she is not to blame for his father’s struggles.

“My father has been battling alcohol addiction for a while now, which explains the weight loss everyone has noticed. It’s disheartening to see the internet blaming my mother for everything. That’s completely false—she has nothing to do with it,” Marcus clarified.

Marcus also directed criticism toward his paternal grandparents and other family members, accusing them of neglect and irresponsibility.

“The complete irresponsibility of my father’s parents is part of the problem,” he said. “I’ve already lost two uncles because of their carelessness. Honestly, I don’t even want to be associated with them. If it weren’t for my father, no one would even know the Mayanja name.”

He also expressed disappointment in some of Chameleone’s friends, accusing them of prioritizing financial benefits over his well-being.

According to Marcus, doctors have warned that Chameleone may have only two years to live if he does not address his drinking habits. Marcus urged his father to seek help immediately and called on fans and family members to unite in supporting his recovery.

“We need to work together to get my father the help he needs,” Marcus pleaded, adding, “It pains me that he continues to drink and harm his pancreas despite knowing the risks. His decisions feel selfish, especially when he has four other children who still need him.”

Understanding Acute Pancreatitis

Acute pancreatitis is a sudden and potentially life-threatening inflammation of the pancreas, an organ crucial for digestion and blood sugar regulation. The condition occurs when pancreatic enzymes activate within the pancreas itself, leading to irritation, inflammation, and the organ essentially digesting its own tissues.

Common symptoms include severe abdominal pain radiating to the back, nausea, vomiting, fever, and a rapid pulse. Early intervention and lifestyle changes are critical for managing the condition and preventing further complications.
