Chipukeezy was on Wednesday 6th June appointed by Interior CS Fred Matiangi as a member to the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA).
Jaguar was quick to congratulate on his appointment and also wished him well for the task ahead. The Starehe MP once occupied the position Chipu has been appointed to, but he resigned as board member in April 2015 after a series of dramas.

You are worth the position
Ugandan comedian Anne Kansiime motivated Chipukeezy saying he has what it takes for the task ahead. Kansiime touched down in Nairobi on Thursday June 7th on Chupukeezy’s invitation.

“You are worth the position since you have been a role model and a voice for many young people who need to relate with someone with you in the fight against drug abuse, which is part of your mandate,” Kansime told Chipukeezy.
Whether comedian Chipukeezy is funny or not while on stage is still something we can all debate. One thing, however, we can’t argue is that he’s one lucky son of God.
Just weeks after the comedian was allegedly fired by Radio Maisha and getting another job at Ebru TV immediately, the comedian has landed yet another lucrative job with the government.

Chipukeezy has been appointed as a member to the Board of Directors at the National Authority for the Campaign Against Drug Abuse (NACADA). May be we can thank his close friend Jaguar for that.
Cabinet Secretary, Interior and Co-ordination of National Government Dr. Fred Matiang’i appointed Vincent Mwasia and George Ogalo to serve as members of the Board according to a Gazetted notice.
Chipukeezy and George Ogalo have been appointed to serve at NACADA for a period of three years with effect from 6th June 2018.

Chipukeezy is a man of his word. The comedian vowed to help president Uhuru Kenyatta’s ‘daughter’ and he has ultimately fulfilled his promise.
A few days ago 18-year-old Tamara caused a stir when she carried a placard claiming to be Uhuru’s daughter. Tamara was arrested but Jaguar bailed her out.
She appeared on Chipukeezy’s show on Ebru TV after she was released. The comedian vowed to help Tamara get basic needs during the show.

The comedian through his foundation bought Tamara a few household items. Chipukeezy welcomed other Kenyans to also help the girl.
“I promised that I will see to it that Tamara (the girl who claimed to be President’s Doughter)gets the help that she needs after coming on my show. Shopping kidogo ya food na beddings nimefanya through my Chipukeezy Youth Empowerment Foundation. Anyone else feeling led and is willing to help her are most welcome. Chipukeezy show more than just comedy,” wrote Chipukeezy.

Dr. Ofweneke and his co-host DJ Creme De La Creme left Ebru TV to join KTN for a new show. The two used to host a comedy show on Ebru TV.
Creme and Ofweneke’s position will now be filled by Chipukeezy. The old comedy show on Ebru TV has now been rebranded ‘Chipukeezy Show’.
Chipukeezy confirmed he was filling the position Jalango left when he joined Hot 96. Things happened and now Chipukeezy is not joining Radio Maisha again.

New twist
Chipukeezy has now come out to announce that he is not moving to the Mombasa road-based media house. He explains that unforseen circumstances have blocked him from joining Radio Maisha.
“Hey guys. Due to unforeseen circumstances I will not be joining RADIO MAISHA Breakfast show as earlier advertised and anticipated ..I However want to take this opportunity to say thank you to STANDARD MEDIA GROUP and the RADIO Maisha Team for this wonderful opportunity,” Chipukeezy announced.
It has been almost a year now since radio presenter Jalang’o decamped from Radio Maisha to Hot 96 FM to team up with veteran journalist Jeff Koinange.
Radio Maisha looked for a suitable replacement for a while but weren’t as successful but it seems they have now found another comedian who might fill Jalas’ shoes.
Comedian Chipukeezy has officially announced that he’ll be joining presenter Alex Mwakideu in the morning show a thing that will bring back his radio career.
Chipukeezy left Kiss 100 to focus on comedy last year in March. He did a few tours but things later seemed to have stagnated therefore deciding to return to radio. On his social media pages, Chipukeezy said that he’s set to start his new job on Wednesday( tomorrow) after sharing a poster which has all Radio Maisha presenters.
Chipukeezy worked for three years at Kiss FM before resigning.

Mowzey Radio was finally laid to rest at his home in Kagga located some 15km southwest of Kampala city. Jaguar and Chipukeezy traveled to Uganda to pay their last respect.
Thousands of people thronged Kagga on Saturday to attend Mowzey Radio’s burial. Dignitaries, celebrities, fans were all present to bid Mowzey the final goodbye.
Ugandan celebrities including Jose Chameleone and his brothers Weasel and Pallaso all dressed in military fatigue at Mowzey’s burial.
President Museveni vowed to bring to book Mowezy Radio’s killer. The president’s speech was read by state minister for Tourism Godfrey Kiwanda.
“I would like to assure the family and the mourners and all Ugandans that whoever killed Mowzey Radio will be brought to book. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” the minister read Museveni’s eulogy.

Jaguar arrived in Uganda on Saturday morning ahead of the burial. The Starehe MP-cum-singer was accompanied to Kagga by Chipukeezy who had arrived in Uganda earlier.
Jaguar was given the opportunity to address mourners at Mowzey’s burial. He praised the deceased and said East Africa had lost a great musician who will forever be remembered.

Chipukeezy decided to spoil his girlfriend Empress Kerry as she turned a year older. The comedian took his sweetheart to Mombasa for her big day.
Chipukeezy’s girlfriend is among famous people who celebrate their birthdays on January 7th. Others include Raila Odinga, Julie Gichuru and Jeff Koinange.
Chipukeezy decided to treat his girlfriend with a romantic trip to the Coast. The two lovebirds spent quality time at the famous English Point Marina.

The comedian revealed how much he loves his girlfriend in a birthday message he sent her. Chipuu says Kerry is annoyingly sweet and a very kind person.

Chipukeezy follows Jaguar like a honey badger follows honey. The comedian is never far away from where the Starehe MP is.
Jaguar has employed Chipukeezy as his right-hand man even though he hasn’t publicly announced. Chipukeezy has been following Jaguar everywhere he goes raising questions about his role in the MP’s inner circle.

Chipukeezy narrated how white people helped him meet his icon Kevin Hart during a book signing event in Los Angeles.
The comedian told NTV’s Kobi Kihara that was broke but just by showing white people his videos on YouTube he was allowed ride a taxi for free and given Kevin Hart’s book for free as well.

Njuguna has dropped a hilarious video mocking Chipukeezy. The comedian’s video is based on Chipukeezy’s false story that he told Kobi Kihara during the interview on NTV.
So apparently Chipukeezy meeting with Kevin Hart was not such a big deal like we all thought. Apparently it was just a book signing ‘event’ that saw Kevin Harts fans meet him probably for the first time just like Chipukeezy and many others.
However, what Chipukeezy told us is that he had a moment with Kevin Hart and the two got to know each other well – but all this was a made up story as revealed by one Kenyan actress living in the United States, Christine Wawira.
In a recent live session held on her Facebook Christine came out to bash Chipukeezy for lying about his meeting with Kevin Hart and to make things worse Chipukeezy went on to acknowledge a ‘white woman’ who made it possible for him to meet the American comedian when all along it was Christine Wawira who is a Kenyan like him.
Anyway, this was not out of bad blood but according to Christine Wawira she just wanted to clarify things and make Kenyans aware of what was happening.

Chipukeezy lied that he attended 2017 BET awards gala and that he exchanged contacts with Kevin Hart. The Kenyan comedian met Kevin Hart on June 12th 2017 in Los Angeles when the American comedian was on a tour promoting his book ‘I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons’.

The Groove Awards ceremony went down last evening attracting both the gospel and secular artists to come celebrate and appreciate good music.
Well, the event is usually held annually and this year the likes of Willy Paul and Bahati were not among those nominated in any category meaning their would be new faces bagging the awards.
Anyway…Chipukeezy and Eric Omondi were among the celebrities who turned up with their girlfriends to come celebrate with the gospel industry and being among the funniest comedians we have in the country, Chipukeezy left many laughing after he decided to troll Bahati and Willy Paul.

Former radio presenter cum comedian Chipukeezy recently celebrated his birthday. And unlike most birthdays where he chooses to celebrate his birthday in clubs…the fella this time around went all the way to Machakos where he joined his grandfather in the village to mark his special day.
Through his social media pages the comedian shared a photo of his grandfather where he mentioned that he is 85 years something that cannot be seen in his features since he still looks fit and younger than his age.
The comedian captioned the photo making fun of his grandfather’s age and truth be told, seems that Chipukeezy’s family have good genes which hopefully are following in his genes. He captioned the photo saying,
