Chipukeezy, a director at National Authority for the Campaign Against Drug Abuse (NACADA), has always sprung into action whenever help is needed.

Chipukeezy was among first people to act when a viral video surfaced online showing sickly boxer Conjestina Achieng’ begging to survive.

The young comedian also left many impressed after acting swiftly to a viral video of a female high school student who was drunk like a fish in school uniform.

Bailed out singer

Chipukeezy recently visited Industrial Area Remand Prison to mingle with inmates. The Nacada director was touched by Ohangla singer Barack Odero Oluoch who had been locked at the facility because he couldn’t raise bail.

Chipukeezy offered to bail out the singer, he also revealed that Jalang’o and Eric Omondi had offered to sponsor two of his favorite songs.

“Yesterday, in the Spirit of rehabilitation I visited the Remand prison at industrial Area to spend sometime with inmates at the correctional facility. During my Visit I managed to meet and talk with some amazing young Kenyans who are currently taking time to reflect on their lives as they await court dates. One In mate caught my attention. Barack Odero Oluoch is not only a talented Ohangla musician but also a very energetic, creative and ambitious young man. He is in for an assault, he was involved in a fight with a friend. We spoke at length and he told me his dream has always been to be a musician. He has learnt a lot while in prison and I would love to give him a chance. I will pay his bail money and I have together with @jalangoo and @ericomondi decided to sponsor two of his favorite songs. Record the Audios and Videos,” wrote Chipukeezy.

Chipukeezy’s ex sweetheart Vivian Mandera, popularly known as Empress Kerry, is pregnant with her first child, three months after confirming breakup with the comedian.

Kerry deleted photos of Chipukeezy from her Instagram account on November 2018 signalling the end of her relationship with the comedian.

The breakup was confirmed by Chipukeezy weeks later, he revealed that Kerry and him mutually agreed to end their relationship following irreconcilable differences.

“To be honest, we agreed that whatever we wanted to do together would not work out, and it was a peaceful agreement. Tulikua tunaenda Canaan tukapata mamba. We moved on because there is more to life than just love and relationships. People should stop speculating things, but instead let her move on with her life. She is free to be out there and get other people,” said Chipukeezy.

Moved on

Chipukeezy has moved on with his life, the comedian is now dating a lady called Agnes J Kibanja. Kerry has also moved on, she is now try months pregnant.

She took to social media to break good news about her pregnancy,

A shocking video has surfaced online showing a drunk girl in school uniform. The heavily intoxicated girl, who was at a bus stage, attracted a huge crowd as she uttered incoherent words.

The girl was saying that she decided to drink alcohol because her mother always comes back home drunk. She says that she looks up to her mother and that she decided to get drunk like her.

“Mothangu anakujanga kama ametei, so mi nafanya venye anafanya. Kama amekuja kama ametei mbona mimi nisitei? You know you should follow your role model so mi nafollow my role model, mbona nisitei?” said the drunk girl.

Split opinion

The video of the drunk school girl was widely shared on social media, some celebrities also shared the video on their Instagram accounts.

Some people protested the idea of sharing the video saying the girl is a minor and thus should be protected, while other shared the video arguing that it should serve as a lesson to irresponsible parents and other minors who dare drink.

Chipukeezy however offered to help the girl, the Nacada board member said he was more than willing to offer mentorship to the drunk girl.

Chipukeezy, who is a board member on National Authority for the Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA), wants a tough action to be taken to curb drug abuse.

Speaking at KICC during the first international conference on drugs demand reduction, Chipukeezy revealed that alcohol is still the number one most abused drug in Kenya.

“There is an emergence of the use of hard drugs in our urban areas, especially Nairobi. Most young people lack mentors in life and end up indulging in drugs, and alcohol is still number one, although hard drugs like cocaine are also abused,” said Chipukeezy.

Boots on the ground

Chipukeezy admits that fighting the drug menace cannot be successful with relevant people sitting in their offices, it’s for this reason that Chipu wants boots on the ground.

“We cannot solve this problem in our offices. Therefore, we need to come out and talk to the people on the ground about drugs, and let’s reduce the talks and increase the actions,” said Chipukeezy.

The National Authority for the Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) has come under fire after an investigative by BBC exposed a rehab center in Eastleigh that uses violence against drug addicts.

The exposé shows workers at Darushifa Rehabilitation Centre brutally beating drug addicts and mentally ill patients. The rehab center was also exposed for using traditional healing medicine in high doses to cure drug addiction, the healers admitted to BBC that overdose could be fatal.

Chipu and Nacada react

Chipukeezy shared an official statement from Nacada saying that the rehabilitation center in Eastleigh was not accredited by the drug enforcement agency.

Chipu later on revealed that Nacada had moved in to close Darushifa Rehabilitation Centre.

“Just to inform you that Darufisha Center in Eastleigh has been closed and the perpetrators arrested. The centre has been operating illegally and I would like to reiterate that we cannot support patients being abused physically or psychologically,” wrote Chipukeezy.

Chipukeezy has opened up about his sex life like never before. The popular comedian candidly talked about how he learned about sex from an early age.

The comedian up to inspire the Kenyan youth in the “Form Ni Gani” campaign. “Form Ni Gani” is an initiative by Boniface Mwangi which aims at protecting young people’s futures by making them plan their sex life and/or when to have children.

Chipu reveals that he learnt about sex when he was in class three. He narrates how he used to peep to watch neighbors and their househelp having sex.

“Our next-door neighbours sent us to buy sweets and bread as a bribe for us to leave the area, so they could get naked and “climb” each other. I was in Class 3, and l became a peeping Tom. Later on, our house girl would invite her boyfriend to our house and they would have sex. I would be in the same house but they thought l couldn’t see them.

“When l was around 11, a classmate bought a porn magazine which we read together. We were caught and punished. I always wondered why they punished us. At night, whenever we watched the soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, any kissing scenes elicited two responses; either we would be chased away, or the TV set would be switched off,” said Chipukeezy.

No family planning injections

The 28-year-old comedian also revealed that he discouraged his fiancee from using family planning injections as a form of family planning. Chipukeezy says that he relies on condom for family planning.

“Family planning confuses me. My fiancé wanted to get a family planning injection, but I refused. I felt that since she hadn’t had a baby, the injection might affect her adversely. I use a condom with my fiancée during her “unsafe” days. We count her days, then we have two days of glory, when she is safe, then we’re back to using condoms after that,” Chipukeezy revealed.
