Churchill signs mega deal worth millions after finally agreeing with Charity Ngilu

Comedian Churchill Ndambuki will be laughing all the way to the bank soon after inking a lucrative deal with Kitui County Government.

The comedian will take the Churchill Show in the county during the Kitui Sevens Rugby which will be on June 2, a deal that made him 20 million richer.

Governor’s appreciation

Though Churchill has not said a word on it but Governor Char Ngilu thanking the comedian for signing the deal.

“Thank you Daniel “Churchill” Ndambuki for agreeing to bring the Churchill Show to Kitui County this June 2nd 2018 as we host the Kitui Sevens Rugby. We are excited to welcome you all,” posted the governor.

The deal, which was signed at the Kitui Agricultural Training Centre, is slated to happen on Saturday June 2 at a local hotel during the Kitui Rugby 7s.

Why Isaac Mwaura wants Charity Ngilu arrested after Kikuyu singer who composed anti-Kamba song is arraigned in court

John Gichiri Njau was on Monday morning arraigned in court. The vernacular singer composed the infamous Ikamba song that disses the Kamba community.

Ikamba song has lyrics querying what the Kamba community will eat when the mango season is over. The singers suggest that Kambas will feed on dogs and wild birds.

The song was composed after Charity Ngilu banned charcoal trade in Kitui county. Some trucks ferrying charcoal from Kitui were set ablaze following the ban. The lorries belonged to members of Kikuyu community.

John Gichiri Njau when he appeared before Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi. He was charged with three counts of ethnic contempt.
Time for Ngilu to face the music

Isaac Mwaura also wants Charity Ngilu to be charged in court for fanning ethnic tensions. The nominated senator says it’s impunity for the Kitui governor not to be charged alongside the Ikamba hate mongers.

“Isn’t it telling that the two musicians who sang a song against the Kamba Community have have been charged yet Charity Ngilu is yet to be arraigned in court. If NCIC chair says that it’s Ferdinard Waititu who started it, why is he yet to be charged almost two months later?” Wrote Isaac Mwaura.

 

 

Is he rekindling his old flame? Moses Kuria causes a stir as he refers Charity Ngilu as his ex

Moses Kuria excited netizens when he referred Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu as his ex. The controversial lawmaker made the remark after being moved by Ngilu’s speech.

Moses Kuria implies Charity Ngilu and him were lovers at one point. The Gatundu South MP made netizens think in that direction thanks to his caption.

Kuria posted an audio of Charity Ngilu speaking in Kamba on Facebook. He captioned the video “Love speech by Charity Ngilu. What happened to this ex of mine?”

Ngilu’s speech

The Kitui Governor was addressing her constituents following an attack by Somali. Ngilu was heard saying that she will train the Kamba people how to use bows and arrows to protect themselves against bandit attacks.

Kuria was moved by Ngilu’s speech and he ended up ‘confessing’. Netizens were quick to ask the MP to expound on what he meant saying that Ngilu was his ex.
