Akothee’s daughter Celly Rue Brown is not dating, and apparently the 20-year-old is having a difficult time finding a man who will her for her.

Speaking during an interview with Massawe Japanni on radio Jambo, Rue revealed that most men just want her because of her mom’s wealth.

“I am not seeing anyone at the moment because I think in my state, it is not easy to find a man who is genuine because most men want to be associated with my mum’s wealth,” said Rue.

Disciplinarian

Rue further disclosed that her mother is very tough on them (her and her other siblings). She said that she has never been in a serious relationship because she fears her mother.

“My mum was very rough and wanted us to be so disciplined. We did not start at the peak and we were hustlers from scratch, and she (Akothee) taught us to respect people.”

Adding that;

“I have never been in a serious relationship because I fear my mum, who still thinks that we are young and she does not want us to follow her path of getting children at an early age, as she did.”

Rue’s modelling career received a major boost after she was featured in a runway at a gala event held at the Acacia Premier Hotel in Kisumu over the past weekend.

Rue strutted down runway in different outfits and she was hot AF.  Akothee couldn’t hide her joy seeing her daughter killing it on the runway.

Akothee’s daughter Celly Rue Brown has a crush on retired president Mwai Kibaki’s grandson Sean Andrew. She reveals why she is into Sean Andrew.

Rue opened up about her celebrity crush during an interview with Pulse. She says Sean Andrew is her crush because he is handsome and that he is also a model just like her.

“Sean Andrew. he looks presentable and has good looks. He is a model just like I am,” said Rue.

For starters, Rue is an accomplished model who bagged a lucrative multi-million deal with Nivea. Rue was crowned as the new face of Nivea East Africa after beating 13 other finalists to the prestigious prize.

No househelps

Rue also reveals that her mother does not spoil them like most people think. She says Akothee is strict and makes them do most of the chores at home.

“I think that is the reason why none of my siblings are dating (Akothee being strict). We don’t have a house-help as many think. We do our own laundry as well as cook for ourselves. She is above all loving caring and fun to be with.”

 

 

Akothee daughter Celly Rue Brown clashed with online trolls who took a swipe at her mother. Rue was quick to defend her mother from haters.

Rue won Nivea face of Africa a few days ago. The Strathmore University student was among 13 other ladies who were contesting to become the next face of Nivea.

The 13 contestants were subjected to a week of public voting where the winner was determined by the number of votes garnered.

Rue emerged as the winner and some people were deeply offended. Critics even attacked Akothee for supporting her own daughter to win the competition.

Akothee’s daughter will now feature in the Nivea invisible for Black and White fresh billboard among other spoils. This seems to be a bitter pill for detractors to swallow.

I see no harm in a mother supporting her daughter

Rue stood by her mother as haters were talking trash about her. She asserts that she will still love her mother even if she runs mad.
