Bridget Achieng decries how single ladies who are wife material aren’t getting any men

Socialite Bridget Achieng has several questions on why there are so many single women who don’t have partners.

On social media, Achieng, who was dumped by his West African lover just days after getting pregnant, wanted to know why single ladies don’t have a man even though they are capable of being a good wife.

“I feel like half the girls who are single are wife materials and no one their age knows how to handle such a great package,” she said.

Anyway, socialites and love haven’t been really doing well. Most socialites end up being dumped by their men because of their controversial life and again, true wife materials have been taken and all those left should just wait for their turn. Everyone gets a chance.

Socialite Bridget Achieng has opened up yet again on why she decided to bleach her skin.

Speaking in an interview on NTV, Achieng said being a dark skin frustrated her because she was always treated negatively.

“I didn’t change my skin color because of a man, I changed it to feel good about myself. Because at that time I felt that if I complied to society’s standards of beauty, I would look better and get anything I want,” she revealed on the Wicked Edition.

Rejected

Achieng shared a story where she was rejected for a TV job because she dark-skinned a thing that really broke her heart.

“I once went to an interview for a TV station. I won’t mention the name. I was the first runners up but walinikataa juu mimi ni mweusi wakachukua msichana mwingine hapo zero-zero juu ni light skin. So kutoka hapo nilijam. Nikasema ni juu ya kupaka mafuta? Nikaamua kupaka mafuta nikuwe mweupe. It has worked in my favour. I don’t regret doing it anyway that’s why I say it boldly.”

New mum in town Bridget Achieng has not been wasting anytime when it comes to sharing details about her newborn son.

Unlike most celebrities who prefer keeping their babies away from social media; she is one who started posting photos from the day he was born.

So far baby Sekani has his own Instagram page and his own business (a baby shop) not forgetting a huge fan base thanks to his mum’s popularity.

Complications that led to C-Section

Anyway just like any new mum to be, Bridget Achieng was hoping to have a natural birth but due to complications she had a C section.

Thanks to a post shared on her son’s page, Bridget Achieng reveals that her doctors told her that the only way she could see her baby was if she had a c section.

And having carried her pregnancy for 9 months, the Nairobi Diaries reality star did not have to think twice about having the surgery.
