Why we need to defeat the growing single mother epidemic

When you listen to your favourite celebrities, women such as Carol Sonnie, Maureen Waititu, Akothee, tiffany Muikamba and the rest of them, you’d be led to believe that single motherhood is not only heroic but is also easy.

Reality of single motherhood dawns on young Tiffany Muikamba, she calls out deadbeat baby daddy – Bensoul

And when Father’s Day comes around a lot of celebrities celebrate their single mothers who raise them by taking on both the role of mother and father. The same happens on Mother’s Day, Women’s Day, hell even on Men’s Day. And we are led to believe that there is no nobler calling than that of being a single mother.

Carol Sonnie baby bump

But all of that is a trap. All of that is a lack of accountability and the resultant delusion meant to make single mothers feel good about their circumstances and also lower other women into the trap single motherhood. This is not to absolve the useless bums who get themselves caught up in situations where they either get baby trapped or are so reckless they have created multiple single mothers.

Akothee is proof enough why men should steer clear of single mothers

But when we go by concepts created by natural sciences such as Brifaults Law, we begin to understand that it is women and not men who are responsible for the creation of children as they select the men with whom to procreate with. If a woman does not use a man then he will not be able to procreate. And our history as a species proves this to be true given that in the past, for every one man that procreated, 17 women did so. Or to put it another way, for every 17 women who got to donate their genetics to humanity’s gene pool, only one man got the same opportunity.

There is clear evidence that single mothers get to choose the Men They procreated with and they are selecting the worst possible man to become fathers. They are selecting the “bad boys”: the irresponsible and immature men to procreate with.

Carol Sonnie’s revelation that single motherhood is tough is hilarious!

And for us to counter this speed of single motherhood we need to return back to the days when a woman would refuse to carry a child for any man who did not marry her. Marry before you carry.

And there are a lot of good reasons why we need to put a stop to the increasing numbers of single mothers. The statistics of single mother led households tell a rather damning tale. One that we should be very terrified of especially when we have situations of single mothers raising sons. When it comes to single mothers raising daughters we largely have to fear the fact that single mothers raise single mothers. Women who even though they might get married and up ruining their families by walking away when things get tough.

Amber Ray is the worst type of single mother there is

Of course that’s not to say that a woman should stay when her husband is abusive. And the fact that I have to clarify this in such autistic detail tells you that I am aware that feminists are waiting to twist my words to meet their ends.

But why is single motherhood the bane of any civilization’s existence? Why are my family against single motherhood? Let’s look at the statistics which will prove to you beyond the shadow of a doubt why we need to completely destroy single motherhood and return to nuclear families or even polygamous families before it gets too late.

Why Ms Morgan and other single mothers deserve no sympathy

90% of welfare recipients are single mothers
70% of gang members, high school dropouts, teen suicides, teen pregnancies, and teenage drug abusers are from single-mother households
63% of national suicides are done by individuals who grew up in single-mother homes
90% or runaway children are from single-mother households are from single mother households
85% of children with behavioural disorders are from single-mother households
80% of rapists motivated by displaced anger grew up in single-mother homes
85% of imprisoned youth grew up in single-mother homes

Yet another study I found revealed the following:

Children brought up in single-mother homes are:

  • 5 times more likely to commit suicide,
  • 9 times more likely to drop out of high school,
  • 10 times more likely to abuse chemical substances,
  • 14 times more likely to commit rape,
  • 20 times more likely to end up in prison,
  • 32 times more likely to run away from home.

And again because I know the feminist witch coven is waiting to swoop in and misinterpret what I am trying to communicate, I need to clarify with autistic detail that I am not saying all the children born of and raised by single mothers are destined to become criminals vagabonds and wastrels. What I am however saying and what science is backing up is the fact that it is a herculean task to raise children who become successful balance adults as a single-mother. For the sake of our society, we need to return back to our traditional values before it’s too late.

Tiffany Muikamba proves only foolish women try to baby trap men

Tiffany Muikamba is not exactly what I would consider a smart woman. If anything, she seems to be not just vapid but also surrounded by vacuous individuals who refuse to have difficult conversations with her -or perhaps they lack the intelligence and integrity required to have such conversations.

Tiffany Muikamba needs to stop complaining about Bensoul

You see, we cannot truly blame her for embarking on her relationship with Bensoul. He, after all, is a high net worth and status individual and any woman would jump at the chance to date him.

However, where we have to call her out is in her decision to carry his child (read: baby trap him) after only knowing him for a couple of months. There is no way anyone is convincing me Tiffany Muikamba wasn’t trying to baby-trap the artist.

Reality of single motherhood dawns on young Tiffany Muikamba, she calls out deadbeat baby daddy – Bensoul

And he is an absolute idiot which is why it was even possible, to begin with. Why else was he sleeping without any form of protection with a groupie jump-off he met after a performance in Mombasa?

Tiffany Muikamba’s baby daddy, Bensoul

But we have to pause to wonder why no one pulled her aside and gave her any advice on how to deal with him. Why did no one tell Tiffany Muikamba that this was a bad idea altogether and she would be better off playing her position and staying with him as his sidepiece?

Tiffany Muikamba denies beefing with baby daddy’s girlfriend “y’all forcing issues”

Because guess what she found out as soon as she realised she was pregnant? That he wasn’t interested in investing his future with her. She was just a quick nut and rinse in the sink. Yet she somehow got it into her head that a baby would force this man to stay and another single mother was born. Perhaps this is because her own mother is a single mother. After all, single mothers raise single mothers. Or perhaps it’s down to (again) the fact that no one around her cares enough for her to actually have tough conversations.

Tiffany reacts to tabloid posting her photos on social media

That is why Tiffany Muikamba coming out and revealing she attempted suicide when she realised her plan to trap Bensoul had failed was simply par of the course. Of course she’d feel dejected that her plan failed and she was now facing a tough life ahead of her.

Bensoul’s baby mama reveals “I was suicidal” weeks after learning about pregnancy

So what’s the moral of the story here? First, do not carry before you marry. Second? Only dumb chics think that can baby-trap their way into a happily ever after. And your child will have to grow up knowing on some level that daddy never wanted them but mummy tried to force them on him.

Tiffany Muikamba needs to stop complaining about Bensoul

Tiffany Muikamba and Besoul’s love child is finally here, a healthy, bouncing daughter and though we thought this would be the end of her ranting, she doesn’t seem to be getting tired of that nonsense and she is sharing it for us to witness thinking she is doing something.

Reality of single motherhood dawns on young Tiffany Muikamba, she calls out deadbeat baby daddy – Bensoul

She has finally given birth and surprise surprise (to absolutely no one), her baby daddy is not exactly a dedicated father for their love-child. He has not shown any intent to be a fixture in his bastard daughter’s life and somehow, we are still being dragged into the drama they are experiencing.

Bensoul

When she gave birth to their daughter, Tiffany Muikamba was quick to run to social media to let us know that she is yet to receive any form of support from Bensoul even though he and his current woman marked the arrival of his daughter.

Why I do not sympathize with Bensoul’s baby mama, Tiffany

And there is no clearer indication that the baby wasn’t wanted by her father. Yes what he did was moronic, cheating without wearing any form of protection but he never envisioned himself playing house with his paramour as he was still committed to his actual woman. She was nothing but a sidepiece who attempted to baby trap him.

I am left wondering whether this girl doesn’t have friends in her life. No, not a mortley crew of cheerleaders and yes-men but actual friends who hold her accountable. If that is a stretch then how about aunties and a mother? Tiffany Muikamba doesn’t strike me as a woman who is intouch with reality and she doesn’t have anyone in her life that keeps her grounded.

Baby mama drama: Girl who baby trapped Bensoul demands respect

So what does that result in? A woman who has refused to come to grips with the fact she is never going to be anything more than a dirty little secret Bensoul is upset was exposed.

Bensoul’s baby mama showing off curves

Tiffany Muikamba has refused to accept the truth that her daughter is little more than an inconvenience for her father. But the sooner she listens and realises there is no one coming to save her, the better. Also, please stop telling us about all your frustrations. You chose that man and decided to carry his seed before he had committed to marrying you. That is entirely on you!

Why I do not sympathize with Bensoul’s baby mama, Tiffany

Bensoul impregnated a woman called Tiffany Muikamba who was for all intents and purposes a side chick. She might not have known that he was dating someone else seriously at the start of their fling but I am sure when she did some research on who she was sleeping with, she found out about his longtime girl, Noni Gathoni.

Baby mama drama: Girl who baby trapped Bensoul demands respect

She didn’t care about all that as she saw it as his business. That was not where the problem lay, instead, it was at the point she decided that having his baby was a great idea. They weren’t married, if anything, they were just having coitus but she saw her chance to land a high-value guy and she took it. Pity she couldn’t stick the landing.

And now, she is crying and complaining about the fact that she does not have that same man by her side as she goes through this journey of pregnancy. She recently had a live QnA session on her Instagram account and one of the questions asked to her was whether Bensoul would be present in the delivery room and she revealed that she didn’t think so as he had broken every promise he had made to her.

Bensoul’s baby mama refuses to be referred to as side chic, here’s why

Cue the world’s smallest violin playing the world’s saddest acoustic song. Sigh. This is a not-so-bright young lady. You should never carry for a man unless he has married you. I like that statement I picked up from my mentor. Moving right along, we have to wonder why she thought Bensoul would uphold any promises he made to her.

That is the prize she won herself when she decided to become Bensoul’s mistress. Them’s the breaks. Actions have consequences and her choosing to baby trap a man who is in a very public relationship will forever have her labelled as such, a single mother -and that will come with everything that pertains to her being exactly that including not receiving support from Bensoul.

Baby mama takes a swipe at Bensoul, mocks him for growing up without a dad

Is it fair? Damned if I know. But that is what is going to happen. Why? She will forever be the groupie who was nice enough for a romp but not worth leaving Noni Gathoni for. But who knows, maybe after that relationship runs its course, Tiffany and Bensoul can finally become a couple. And perhaps it is at that point that she will finally have a man whose hand she can hold as he leads her through life.

Baby mama drama: Girl who baby trapped Bensoul demands respect

Bensoul has a baby mama who is one furious mamajama! All of this stems from her being referred to as his baby mama, a term she doesn’t find endearing and actually argues that is is downright upsetting and insulting because even though her entire antic was simply baby trapping the star, she is more than a baby mama.

Bensoul’s baby mama refuses to be referred to as side chic, here’s why

For some context, allow me to revisit what happened. Some blog decided to share a video of Tiffany Muikamba (baby mama) dancing and referred to her as the side chic and she got emotional and jumped into their DMs demanding they put some respect on her name.

Bensoul’s soon to be baby mama

According to her, she was unaware Bensoul was in a relationship (a quick social media scan shows him constantly cheering, toasting and celebrating his girlfriend and their relationship) and as far as she was concerned, theirs was a love-story that was unfortunately shortlived.

Baby mama takes a swipe at Bensoul, mocks him for growing up without a dad

So if you are going to refer to her, she is to be referred to as “the mother of…” and at this point I had to laugh. Why you as? Because someone is literally being described in an apt way -as Bensoul’s side chic- but she is unhappy about the fact. She instead wants to rewrite history and demands that the rest of us play along to keep her from hurting her fee-fees. That;s not how life works and the unfortunate truth of it is that she will forever be known as Bensoul’s baby mama, the woman who baby trapped the Sauti Sol affiliate and signee.

Bensoul

This is clearly a case of “play stupid games, win stupid prizes” because anyone who has enough foresight to plan for the next two years knows that her name will forever be suffixed by the phrase, “Bensoul’s baby mama” or better yet, “Bensoul’s former mistress”. It just comes with the territory. Am I saying she shouldn’t keep the baby? No. I am simply saying she shouldn’t have attempted to climb up the celebrity totem pole by baby trapping Bensoul.

Why only fools thought Bensoul would be dumped by his girlfriend

So what comes next for Ms Tiffany Muikamba? Well, she should start getting accustomed to being mentioned in nearly every social interaction that our crooner philanderer is involved in. He gets married? She will be brought up with bloggers wandering how she feels. He gets another child? She will be sought after for a comment. Even if she gets married, the headlines will read, “Bensoul’d former mistress/ baby mama ties the knot”.

Actions have consequences and her choosing to baby trap a man who is in a very public relationship will forever have her labelled as such. Is it fair? Damned if I know. But that is what is going to happen. Why? Because outside of her famous baby daddy, she is a nobody. She will forever be the groupie who was nice enough for a romp but not worth leaving his girlfriend for. But who knows, maybe after that relationship runs its course, Tiffany and Bensoul can finally become a couple.

Why only fools thought Bensoul would be dumped by his girlfriend

Bensoul was caught up in a rather intriguing sexual scandal that has rocked not just his relationship but the entire entertainment industry to its core. He is one of those innocent-looking young men who sing about the nature of relationships in Nairobi that surprised many when it turned out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy in their life.

“Do the math!” Bensoul’s 22 year old baby mama denies their unborn baby is a result of a one night stand

So he cheated on his girlfriend, Noni Gathoni, and when that happened, it resulted in a pregnancy that his paramour is looking to carry to term. To his credit, the crooner has stated that they intend to stick around and help raise the resulting child.

Bensoul with Noni

However, his paramour has decided to use their tryst to drum up fame and notoriety for themselves. She decided to host an open QnA session on her social media page that served as a tell-all that she used to dish out facts and details about her fling with Bensoul and you are wondering why I suggested he should learn how to strap up here:

5 lessons we learn from Bensoul impregnating his affair partner

However, it would seem a lot of people on social media were expecting Noni to kick Bensoul to the curb. Actually, to be fair, I can see why they thought that would be the outcome of their relationship -after all, he had cheated and was caught in the worst way possible; a reminder in the form of a human being who would be a nagging responsibility for 18+ years.

Bensoul with girlfriend

But they couldn’t be further from the truth. Noni and her man have no reason to break up because she has been shown the ultimate measure of hypergamy and the Sol Generation signee has passed it with flying colours: a woman chased after and got impregnated by him. let that set in, a woman who did not know him from her father’s anus decided that after one evening of fun, she would bring forth a baby for him -whether or not he wants to be the father of her child.

Love wins! Girlfriend celebrates Sol Generations Bensoul with special message as he turns a year older

There are men (and “fathers” of 5) who marry women and then still get cheated out of continuing their lineage by being cuckolded over and over again -all 5 times. Meanwhile, Bensould was busy getting his rocks off, simply looking for poon to spoon and release but he is being arm-twisted into becoming a father… Noni has just been shown that he is truly a valuable man! A high value one at that. She has the “it” guy and that makes hers the “it relationship” and they are now the new “it couple”.

Bensoul’s paramour, Tiffany Muikamba

And before you argue with me and start telling me that he is not of high value, you need to understand that society determines who is and what it means to be high value and his generation (Zoomers) have decided that being a celebrity who has ties to Sauti Sol and a quite a few musical hits under his belt is all it takes for him to sit upon his pedestal. And that random one night stand is not going to be the last one nor was she the first one he had stepped out of his relationship with.

‘Nairobi’ hitmaker Bensoul admits to cheating on girlfriend and impregnating ‘side chick’

However, in Bensoul’s woman’s mind, he has been stamped as the best possible man she can probably get. She would be mad to let go of her gem. I mean, sure he cheats but that is because he can. And the women want to run after the man that every guy wants to be. For now, he is it.

Bensoul’s girlfriend Noni Gathoni

Then there is the fact that women are more than willing to share a top tier man than they are to have a faithful man who is useless in their eyes. She would rather have someone who elevates her status in society than have someone who she has wrapped around her fingers. Don’t believe me? Then that is because you’re the schmuck that your woman settled for. She couldn’t get Wafula Thundercock (as my mentor likes to refer to them) so she settled for you, the safe, boring guy who pisses her off for simply waking up next to her in the morning.

Bensoul is better than most 24-year-old men. He is in the top 10 per cent of the highest calibre men of that age group easy! And in fact, I would go on to say he is in the top 1% of 20-25-year-olds. Of course, she would stay with him and go on to have a lovely relationship. I still don’t think he should be dating Noni anyway but now that we are here, he is not going to let her go.

Time will tell whether I am wrong about this but Noni and Bensoul will continue dating but their relationship is about to become crappy because she is going to try to get him accustomed to her yanking his chains and making him jump over hoops to prove his loyalty and love and I see him failing those tests and that will cement the crap he has to deal with it… Time will tell. But that is a story for another day.

5 lessons we learn from Bensoul impregnating his affair partner

Bensoul has been caught up in a situation that has left his relationship with some girl named Noni Gathoni on the rocks if not over after it was revealed that he was expecting a child with yet another random groupie he met in Mombasa.

‘Nairobi’ hitmaker Bensoul admits to cheating on girlfriend and impregnating ‘side chick’

In case you’re a bit slow on the uptake, allow me to simplify what that means; he was caught after Edgar Obare revealed to the world that he had stepped out on his lady love with a Mombasa based groupie and the resultant pregnancy is currently entering its second trimester.

Bensoul

I don’t know whether we should be shocked or elated that the guy that gave us the immensely popular hit, Nairobi, had lived up to precisely what he sang about. That’s right, turns out that while art often imitates reality, on this one Bensoul was simply singing about the fact that he himself is prone to stepping out on his partner (wonder whether she too is guilty of this).

This Is Why Bensoul Wants Marijuana Legalized In Kenya

But while the world and Noni’s relationship are burning, we can get some positives from their issues as we can learn a thing or 5 from their experiences and allow that to enrich our lives. So rather than pontificating and passing hollow judgement on Bensoul, I would rather focus on giving you some lessons I picked up from all this so let’s get right to it:

Bensoul’s girlfriend Noni Gathoni

#1. He is too young to have considered a serious relationship

I have a mentor who keeps on telling me that I am far too young for a serious relationship. If anything, he is constantly telling me that I should not get into a relationship until i am 30. Any man’s 20s are for learning himself, playing the field and building himself up whether it is in academics or learning the ropes of their career of choice or business. In a few rare cases such as Bensoul’s his was his craft as a musician. He should have focused exclusively on that and not given his commitment to anyone.

‘Baba Yangu Ako Tu Lakini Sijui Ako Corner Gani-I Was Raised By My Mom and Sister’- Bensoul

Why? Because he has zero experience with female nature and doesn’t know how to define himself yet as a man who is his own mental point of origin. Instead, he started defining himself as Bensoul the artist and Noni’s boyfriend. He also got caught up in the machinations of his paramour because he is naive to the ways of the world and feminine nature.

#2. He should have used protection

Man, I can’t believe I have to say this but when you’re sleeping with someone and you have a lot to lose, use protection. When you’re sleeping with a local random, use protection. If you’ve heard of HIV, use protection. Hapa Bensoul aliniangusha. Always use protection. And just as we saw with Drake, when you’re done, dispose of it yourself. Always be in control of the birth control option yourself and pulling out isn’t sufficient.

#3. Monogamy is a fool’s errand -if and only if…

You’re high value, and here I do not mean what you think of yourself but rather the fact that the world believes that you’re at the top, then you will always have options. He is a top Kenyan artist signed to one of the best local record labels around, Sol-Generation. Noni had to have been a fool to think she would have him all to herself. Not only that but selfish too. Why did he attempt to yolk himself unevenly to any one woman?

Bensoul

Societal pressure and norms are truly a ball and chain to some men. Bensoul has achieved that rarified air. One of the reasons I had previously said he is too young and inexperienced for a committed relationship is because if he had taken the time to play the field, he would have realised that at his level, a lot of women would be willing to share him if he only been honest about it from the beginning. Instead, he allowed himself to fall into the oneitis trap and subsequently attempt to maintain a monogamous relationship. To his benefit? Certainly not his and though the sacrifice seemed to be for Noni, she’s now hurting and humiliated after realising this was a fool’s endeavour.

#4. Baby trapping is real

I do not care what anyone says, Bensoul was bay trapped. Yes, he is a foolish young man who clearly thinks with the wrong head but he was clearly baby trapped by a random bussdown who views him as her ticket into not just a comfortable life but also celebrity status -she is now forever more going to be Bensoul’s baby mama. Kenyan celebs need to start moving on a different type of time.

#5. Having real mentors is important

All in all I doubt that Bensoul would have found himself in this sticky situation if he had a real male mentor in his life, someone who has walked the same journey he has, someone who has experienced the highs and lows of Kenyan celeb status. I mean, come on, how did no one teach the young man that he had to use protection because he is literally a meal ticket to some Kenyan ladies? Hell, he could even have been taught how to handle a sneaky link.

Bensoul showcases his vocal range on his latest release Salama

Bensoul, one of the signees to Sauti Sol’s record label Sol Generation is back at it again, sharing with you and yours his musical offering of Salama.
The jam is an acoustic song devoid of the bells and whistles of hit song productions, featuring only a piano and his vocals.

The best way to describe this song is to say it is similar to a church worship song with a feel that your pastor is about to hop on to the stage so the choir is trying to get you into the spirit.

Bensoul pours out his heart in latest single ‘No Kisses’ (Video)

The jam is the third acoustic offering off a special series Bensoul has created for his fans to help alleviate the boredom pangs of quarantine, aptly named QuaranTUNES. The jams will go up every Thursday and was produced by himself but mixed and mastered by Trevor Magak.

The best thing about this series is it showcases not just Bensoul’s vocal range but his versatility too, allowing him to show us what he is made off especially when he writes and performs his own tracks and doesn’t feature on Sauti Sol’s hit songs.

Allow me to share the lyrics of the song below so you can sing along as you listen to the song:

Jua la saa saba Limewaka sana Linavyo nichoma Ndivyo nakazana Juu siwezi lala njaa Nikitazama Ninaondoka Nirudishe salama
Giza la saa moja Limenipata kwa shamba Ninaogopa Polisi na wakora Siwezi lala njaa Nikitazama Ninaondoka Nirudishe salama.

Bensoul makes a prayer request in new song Niombee

Bensoul new song Niombee is a humble request from the artist to his parents asking them to pray for him. He introduces the song, asking for blessings from them so that he can leave to start his life.

Bensoul urges his siblings to work smart in their studies so that they can experience urban life. The artist sings that they come from from a poor background with brains. Thus he tells them to work hard for it pays by putting God first.

Bensoul makes a prayer request in new song Niombee

Bensoul seeks for prayers in Niombee

He thus asks for prayers from the parents to pray for him. He narrates that his prayers alone are not enough thus urges them to pray for each other. ‘Niombee nikuombee kwani maombi yangu pekee hayawezi.’

The artiste continues the lead on how this life God is the planner. He sings God is the only one who knows about today tomorrow and days after.

In Niombee, he sings that his now and Future only God is aware of it. Everywhere one would want to go or be he’s the one who’ll lead us there. If one puts faith in God and all troubles cast on him, nothing is heavy for the Lord. He tells people in life they should never forget to pray and every time they pray let them remember each other.

Bensoul makes a prayer request in new song Niombee

Niombee defines the artist life journey. In connection to the fast urban life and glam that came with fame and being signed by Sauti sol. He thus gives a reflection of his past and prays he never gets hyped but remain in connection to his roots. So lovely in which that’s where many people have failed in the modern urban lifestyles.

The song has been well done by the artist. Bensoul is talented as we know majorly as a bass guitarist. The lyrical flow of the song is good food for thought among many lost lives.

The video was also well done to simply define a true reflection of his roots. Well done Ben Soul, like and give your views as well below!

In conclusion, Bensoul gets a rating of 7/10 in Niombee.

Sobriety in Music Writing:Kenyan Vs Tanzanian Music

This year has had its fair share of Drama in the entertainment Industry majorly Music. It started with the play Kenyan Music  hashtag. This sparking a conversation for several weeks both on social and mainstream media.

But where do  some of our artists go wrong? Essentially there is good music, but not enough has been done to better the Kenyan Music.

Kenyan Artists and Writing..

Do Kenyan artists  ever ask yourselves why some of the music ain’t playing on mainstream media?

Understanding music as an art and not just a way to fame are two different approaches. As a musician, one has to embrace the fact that dedication to writing is key.

Many of  the Kenyan artists get lots of backlash because of  the songs lyrics. The biggest bunch of artists are this that use direct vulgarity to do music and their lyrics depict nothing less than ‘we need help in writing”.

Good examples of these artists are the likes of  Ethic, Ochunglo family,Rico gang among many others. The latest song by Ethic that was able to amass over 1million views has lyrics that in my opinion  are too sexual,

‘Si hupandana, panda panda Si hupandana, katangaze basi baby Si hupandana, panda panda  Si hupandana eeh”“Tunabakana, hapo nyuma na sidika  Mnafanana, maana kila day bana  Unaitangaza, katangaze basi baby”

This does not mean that there are no music writers its just that not many embrace them. Such writers include, newly signed under Sol Generation, Bensoul,’Bazokizo’ hit maker Collo,Bien Barasa of Sauti sol, ‘Lingala ya Yesu’ singer Pitson is also a celebrated writer just to mention a few.

Well, these names depict that the Kenyan Music scene would do so well with such talents in writing more music for artists.

Content creation…

On the other hand Tanzanian artists have embraced song writers that bring a poetic approach to music. This gives music a touch of sensualism. Thus making the music very easy to relate to. The likes of Wasafi records artists take a poetic sense to reach their audience. Furthermore I believe they understand their audience before releasing a song.

Recently Darasa of Tanzania Released three songs back to back .His lyrical approach in one of the songs ‘leo’ that he featured Juma Jux is spectacular and metaphorical,

Hello its me again Mr Burudani, take away the pain Pole kwa kuchelewa si unajua foleni Nawapa vidonge kutuliza complain” “Kichwa, sijabeba kama pambo Akili, nimetega kwenye chambo Fullu, charge na fullu bundle Ukileta usoo, unawekwa kando”

Bottom line…

Its evident that, yes Kenya has good music writers and good artists. But so does Tanzania.

However, fact is that there is a line drawn between the two industries and if we are not careful,Tanzania will dominate the East African Music scene just because they embrace partnerships, research  and team growth.

But again in the millenial sense of thinking, maybe the receivership of music is also a factor that degrades lyrics writing. If vulgar songs are accepted allover the world. Why not our own Ethic and the likes? Wakisema ‘Pandana’ tutapandana as regulators keep gushing on these young lads instead of helping them grow.

Furthermore, if Kenyan artists embrace excellent song writers then we’d have hits like ‘Megarider’ by Nameless and Kaligraph on a daily basis.
