The Muraya’s reality TV show that might finally replace Bahati’s show

‘Dine with the Murayas’ is the new show set to air on NTV, seemingly in replacement of the unpopular Bahati Reality Show.

This was after news of the new show went viral on Sunday 17th March 2020, igniting mixed feelings among Kenyans.

A poster making the rounds indicated the show was ‘coming soon’ with details of the particular day and time yet to be unveiled.

NTV’s upcoming show

A show set to feature showbiz couple DJ Mo and wife, Linet Munyali alias Size 8 and everything around their married life, parenthood and basically all the setbacks that come with it.

Affirmation

When reached out to by Kenyans.co.ke, the gospel DJ confirmed the news though seemed shocked that it was already out there yet final touches were yet to be made.

However, he indicated the new show will stretch to a couple of segments but with the main theme basically about couples.

It will have various segments within the show, but the concept is mostly centered on couples. I am not sure what happened with the poster, I think it came out yesterday but as you can see, it still doesn’t have a date.

Spin-master, Sammy Muraya

Explaining why it was still a baby not ripe for delivery yet:

There are some things we were still discussing and then that’s when we can make it official. It’s not even on our social media pages yet. We are still ironing out some things and when we are done we will let you know.

From her end, an emotional Size 8 cryptically inked:

In Gods timing by His own power through His own grace for His own glory!!! @djmokenya#themurayas#DineWithTheMurayas

Gospel power couple, DJ Mo and Size 8

Well, this might easily be a spill off of the celebrity couple’s Valentine’s Day event – Dine with the Murayas – which caused quite a fuss in the love month.

Meanwhile Bahati Reality show still airs on the Nation Media Group television station every Monday night.

Bahati Reality Show

Speculations are rife that NTV will be getting rid of the Bahati show in place of the Muraya’s show birth.

For fans, the Muraya couple was diverting from their Gospel ministry and NTV was here to back them up, because of ‘lack of content’.

Wild reactions

A section believed NTV had ran out of content and instead of even bringing comedians on board to lift their spirits during this pandemic, they were just doubling to the ´headache´.

A different section of fans warned NTV to watch out before they boycott the station and the gospel couple for trying to make money ´the wrong way´.

This one wasn´t a good one, Kenyans backlashed the local television station terming their new venture ´rubbish!´

We can only sit and wait but the heat is already way too much to contain.

¨Rubbish programme!¨ Kenyans sick and tired of Bahati´s Reality show

The Bahati Reality Show seems to be a complete showstopper to the Kenyan audience when it comes to future episodes of the same.

Something that might not only negatively impact the singer´s brand but the local TV station – NTV – that is broadcasting it.

Kenyans have since the show´s debut, expressed disgust over the show not just for a pure display of affluence, pride and consistent drama, but for what many have termed ¨fake reality¨.

Bahati Reality show is a complete turn off for many

Masses are not anywhere close to being convinced that what actually happens before the cameras is what actually goes on in real life.

A show dubbed ´Reality´ but in actuality, very far from any of it.

Many believe the Gospel star brews more drama into the programme, just to attract ratings and views on You Tube, caring less about the audience.

Bahati Reality out for ratings and numbers on You Tube

It has been a long decry from the local audience to the station, to terminate the show otherwise they will boycott it for good.

Reactions

Here are some of the wild reactions from Kenyans.

¨Mutatolewa Tu NTV!¨ Kenyans bash Bahati´s Reality show following its reprogramming

Kenyan controversial reality show, Bahati Reality´s programming has been moved once again and Kenyans believe, it will soon be cut off from airing.

Its screening was initially every Saturday at 7:30 pm before it was pushed to Wednesday after prime time news and barely 2 months since, it has been moved to Monday at 10 pm.

The father of 2 daughters announced the changes in programming, sharing a snippet of the show´s video as projected by the local media house.

However, this received crude reception from Kenyans who believe it will not be long before his show is done away with.

¨Thanksgiving prayers in Uhuru Park on Sunday¨ Kenyans celebrate as Bahati Reality Show gets rescheduled

Kenyans have for long lamented about NTV´s ¨Bahati Reality Show¨ that was nothing short of boring to them.

Even after raising complaints, nothing was seemingly done about it, if anything, Bahati did a re-brand and incorporated more scandals into the show.

Diana also decided to take a similar route but using You Tube as her channel of disseminating her videos.

Fortunately, Kenyans have cried long enough and their cry has been heard.

Unlike the routine of NTV to air the Reality Show every Saturday at 7:30pm, it has now been moved to every Wednesday at 10pm.

In place of this is Lulu Hassan´s upcoming ¨Kaidi¨ swahili show. The news was announced by Kaidi´s acts, Luwi Capello and Sam Komorrah on social media.

At last, Kenyans could not thank NTV enough for the move as they breathed a heavy sigh of relief following the announcement.

Trolls

Well, it was time to make their comeback regarding the singer´s show. Many boasting how the reality show will no longer bog them down every Saturday at Prime Time.

Others saying it ´failed terribly´ because it was there just to heap praise on the gospel singer as some thanked God for responding to their suffering.

If anything, Kenyans are glad that the year ends on a good note. Another did not mince her words after inviting Kenyans for ´Thanksgiving prayers in Uhuru Park on Sunday.´

“Get rid of that Val” Kenyans in protest of Diana’s sister as Bahati’s new PA. This is why

All everyone wants is to see their family in a better place and more so, when you make it in life and are channeling in a bit more money.

We don’t need to look far because Bahati’s Kingdom is a very good example of the same. So after cheating allegations between Bahati and his former PA, Emmah, he needed a replacement.

Guess who they settled for? Diana Marua’s sister, Val. So new to her job, Bahati sought to introduce her to her job description as well as fellow artistes in his EMB studios.

Bahati’s new PA, Val

Fine, they troop to the place and Weezdom is in vicinity. Addressing Weezdom and Blessing, Bahati states:

Val is officially taking over from Emmah as my PA. Being her first day here, I would like to make a few changes. From today she will be assisting your manager, she will be acting as your immediate PA.

Unfortunately, these were not birds of a feather that the EMB CEO was addressing. Weezdom and Emmah each had personal issues against each other.

Bahati, his new PA, Val with WCB artistes, Blessing and Weezdom

So Diana’s sister quickly jumped in:

Weezdom issa no! If you’re trying to get rid of me No! I can’t work with Weezdom.

Adding:

Haka ni kafisi! He has been sliding in my DM. I even have screenshots. Pretender…

But Weezdom has some reputation to guard, interjecting:

When did I ever slide in your DM? I know myself and I am handsome or do I look like DJ Shiti?

Further distancing himself from the allegations shot his way, insisting:

Uko na kiherehere mingi sana. Sijawahi kukatia. Mbona nikukatie? Of Course I’m single and searching but I can’t thirst over you.

So now it became a war of words between the two, leaving Blessing and Bahati in awe.

Val decided this would not go down without a fight and rubbished:

Ati handsome boy. Buda, mwanaume ni akili.

Before questioning:

Niko na kiherehere we umejiona kwanza?

Reactions

A string of events that sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans, commenting:

Today’s show is over-exaggerated.

Stop working with family.

How is that PA talking to Bahati like she’s employed him instead of the other way round

Don’t bring your family members into your business

Dismiss that PA she is not a professional, get someone who respects you as Bahati the boss, even if you’re a friendly person she is talking you for granted.

Valerie is boring. Bahati You’re a man enough to decide things

Ati PA? you act like you own EMB. I can’t waste my time watching this she’s so annoying.

WTF get rid of that val, she’s so loud for nothing and disrespectful,Baha mnachoma manze

If this how “reality shows”are then this one I #resist!

????????????????????Valarie enda home ulale….yoh acting skills are too exaggerated…

¨Kindly run a slideshow of the latest memes instead¨ fans rubbish Bahati´s new reality show before it even gets aired

´Being Bahati´ show on NTV was one that sparked mixed reactions from fans, majority in dislike, others in love but Bahati unveils his new ´Bahati Reality´ show that has received worse reception.

Soon after it´s season finale, fans felt quite relieved with a heavy burden taken off their backs but hardly did we know.

This was news revealed by the local major broadcaster for his show, NTV, disclosing:

The show´s season premiere is expected to kick off this Saturday, 18th of May as from 7:30 pm.

Reception

However, before it even gets aired, fans believe it is just a waste of time and resources both from NTV, Bahati himself as well as to the audience at large.

They actually rubbish it off with comments suggesting:

Si mrudie tu news

We are tired of Bahati. Get other meaningful shows to air. rubbish

That’s great. Coincides with the day I stop watching NTV.
