“Proud to be under your authority and ready to submit to you,” Diana Marua sweetly gushes over husband in open love letter

The Bahatis were out on their 5th anniversary vacation down at Zanzibar Islands, and for Diana Marua, life would never have been this good were it not for her husband.

Her heartbeat, the man she cannot picture the rest of her life without. A man who taught her that true love still exists and one who makes her feel like the Queen she is.

For Ms Marua, “one thing she is assured of is her future with Bahati”.

Her open love letter

After a 5-day spend down at the Coastal hub, the young lovebirds are finally back home but for Diana, her heart is heavy. Heavy with tears of love and a cocktail of emotions.

If only she could cry, if only she could scream at the top of her lungs.

“I want to laugh, I want to hug you, I want to take Cellotape and wrap us together. To kiss you, hold your hands and never let you go,” reads her open love letter to the father of her kids.

“I’ve met soo many people/ dated a few/ lived with a few. NO ONE, matches the love, the joy, the happiness and the peace that you have given me,” she continues.

Diana Marua sweetly gushes over husband, Bahati

When she sees Bahati, she sees God smiling, winking at her and reminding her that he makes it beautiful in his own time.

“Many times I’ve cried and told you that you’re too much. You’re not letting me breath but each day, I see it differently,” Marua pours out her heart.

To a man who pushes her to go become the best version of herself and who she forever remains indebted to.

Diana pens heartfelt letter

“I’m sorry for the times I’ve complained not looking at it from a Win perspective,” she regrets.

A husband she prayed for and was given and for that, she beautifully wraps up;

“Thank you For being the Head of Our Home. I am proud to be under your Authority, I am Happy to Submit to you. May God Continue to give me the Grace to be the Best to you. To our kids and to love you whole heartedly. I Love You My King!”

It’s time we started appreciating Guardian Angel’s music

If you ask me, I’ll tell you that Audiphaxad Peter Omwaka, better known as Guardian Angel is one of the most gifted gospel artists in Kenya. Put simply, he makes exceptional music.

I was in university when I first listed to any of his jams and I still remember that it was Liwe Liwe because I still love it to this very day. I don’t know if there is a word that describes it better than exceptional.

I became his fan from that day and I still am. Other than the fact that he has an amazing voice, I totally love how his songs are packaged.

He makes beautiful music. The kind that you will love the first time you listen to them even if you are not a Christian. His just touch you.

Interestingly, although he has gotten several awards for his music. I still do not think he is that big or let me just say that he is not as big as he should be.

The thing is, unlike most gospel artists (and I will not mention names), Guardian Angel has never been in a scandal neither does he engage in publicity stunts.

It's time we started appreciating Guardian Angel
Guardian Angel

He is one of the few Kenyan gospel artists who knows that he has a duty to win souls to Christ through his music and he actually does that, very well if I must add.

It makes me wonder why we bother listening to people like Bahati and Ringtone who are just attention seekers while we have someone like Guardian Angel who is doing what he has been called to do.

Someone once said that Kenyans are peculiar people and it is so hard to hard to understand them and this is so true but it’s about time we started giving credit where it’s due and appreciating people who put effort into their craft.

Why is Bahati so desperate for attention?

Over the past week, we have seen gospel singer Kevin Kioko, better known as Bahati, pull all manner of stunts to get people talking about him and to be honest, I don’t even get why.

I know we are all bored because we have to stay indoors at the moment but sometimes I feel that Bahati has has gone overboard with his stunts, like that time he was dancing in his wife’s dress or that time Diana carried him o her back.

Bahati with his wife Diana and son Morgan

I know what you are thinking that any kind of publicity is good, even if it’s bad but I think as a public figure, there are things that you should not do because there are people who look up to you.

Granted, Bahati is being bullied online a lot right now, even his wife Diana but I do not think that he is going about it the right way. Any celeb will tell you that the best way of dealing with trolls is not engaging them.

He could be doing all these things to promote his new track titled Mwisho Wa Dunia and we are used to him pulling all manner of stunts to hype his songs but this ain’t it.

Bahati

From where I sit, it seems like he is really desperate for attention but at the very least, he should have taken his time and made a nice song and let people enjoy it.

Picture this, you pride yourself in being an artist, a gospel one for that matter, but you are more known for engaging in publicity stunts and scandals rather than your music. Is it supposed to be like that though?

Someone needs to tell him to take a break an re-evaluate his decisions because he is not only making a fool of himself but also doing irreversible damage to his brand.

Watch Mwisho Wa Dunia below and tell us what you think.

Has Bahati lost touch with his fans?

I remember back in the day how each and every song that was released by Bahati instantly became a hit. He didn’t even have to do media tours, they had no choice but to play his songs. It’s almost as if everything that he laid his hands on instantly turned into gold.

Well, those days are long gone. These days the 25-year-old singer just gets by like any ordinary artist. Very few people bother to watch or listen  to his songs and they don’t get as much traction as they used to. At least that’s what I think and this assertion can be easily confirmed by his low numbers on YouTube.

Bahati
Bahati

In my opinion, there are a few possible explanations for why this is the case. One, he spends so much time shooting his reality TV show that he has little time to go to studio and work on a song which will impress his fans. So, I’m saying his songs are hurried.

Two, parenting and being a husband to Diana Marua is taking so much of his time that he has little studio time. Although I don’t know what it is like to be a husband and a father, I bet it must be a daunting task.

Three, his fans finally got tired of him crying in all his songs. They waited for him to look for a different approach and vary his sound but that day never came so they moved on swiftly.

Bahati

Whatever the case is, Bahati needs to realize that his music is not as good as it was a few years ago. When he does, he will pull up his socks. I have said my own!

During her speech, she could not seem to appreciate Bahati enough, further addressing him as her ´son´.

I am honored and happy to be here.

To cut the long story short, Bahati is like my son.

I address him as my son.

Additionally, Akothee seemed too close to Jaguar even teasing him and addressing him informally:

I am happy to see faces that I see on Instagram and happy to see my colleague, Mhesh Jaguar.

This came as a surprise to many who couldn´t help but giggle about it.

Further on, the other of 5 stated that if she desired to engage herself with a man, then she´d look out for one her age , Jaguar probably.

It was all laughter at the relaunch after that remark by the controversial artist.

During an exclusive interview she reveals and clarifies that whenever she wants to do a collabo with an artist, that is no attempt for sexual affairs.

She even further went ahead to call herself ´Mama Mzee´.

Well, whether she was trying to drive a point home or just making a laugh about it all, only she can tell.

Dj Saadiq, Dj Mo, Frasha and Kenya´s Bonfire Adventures also graced the event.
