Video: Bahati cries on live TV while speaking about his late mother

Gospel singer Bahati was on Friday reduced to tears while speaking about his late mother.

The singer was speaking to Anto Neosoul on NTV‘s The Trend show where he revealed that he wishes his mum can see what he has become now.

“When your mum looks down at you from heaven, what do you think she thinks about Bahati?” the presenter asked.

“At times miss her…” said the singer. “At times I’m misunderstood but I’m only trying my best, you know, to make her proud. As much as they (ABC children’s home) took care of me, you still miss the love of a mother.”

Bahati

Bahati went on to share that a reason why he gives back so much to the society is that he was helped when his mother passed on.

“Record labels in Kenya are dead because new artists are not making money. I have never made any money from the artists I have supported ever since I started. It is just in me. Someone supported me so I have to keep supporting them, even when I am insulted for doing it,” Bahati said.

Marua: I’m not with Bahati because of money. I have dated richer men than him

Is Diana Marua with gospel singer Bahati because of her fame and money? Some Kenyans believe so but Marua has always insisted she’s with the young artist because she loves him.

Marua shared on True Love that she’s not after his money as many Kenyans have been left to believe but rather with him because he won his heart.

“Others say I want him for the money. Even he laughs about that. If it was about money I would be with well-off people I have dated who would have offered me a lot, including cars. With Bahati, I asked God for someone who would love me genuinely and Bahati was the man I knew I wanted to grow and build a legacy with,” Diana told True Love Magazine.

Cheating

Diana also told the magazine that she met Bahati hours after bursting her boyfriend cheating. That relationship came to an end as soon as she met Bahati  for a music video.

“Bahati and I started off as friends. We met in 2016 when he was looking for a video vixen for his hit song mapenzi. I remember I was awe struck. I even took selfies for my instagram followers. I was seeing someone when we met but on the day of the video shoot, I found him cheating inside his car. The tears you see in the video are real heartbreak tears.” she told the magazine.

Instagram in-laws question Diana Marua after she fails to post Bahati’s adopted child in family portrait

Kenyan gospel singer Bahati and his wife Diana Marua yet again found themselves trying to explain themselves to their fan following a photo posted on Instagram.

Marua took to social media to share a photo of her family which includes her only daughter Heaven and hubby Bahati. But on their TV show the two have been showing an extended family that includes his adopted son Morgan Bahati who he adopted from ABC Kenya Children’s Home.

She posted a picture of her husband and Heaven captioning it,

“My God-given responsibility is to make sure that before anything else, they find a comfortable place in my heart to call home. They come first before my needs and nothing is more rewarding to be told “I appreciate you” by my hubby @bahatikenya and being given the warmest hugs and kisses by my baby @heavenbahati every day!! ❤????” she posted.

Questions

The post angered several Kenyans on social media who questioned Diana’s actions. Many argued that the post clearly shows she doesn’t love Morgan.

“What about Morgan?” asked a concerned fan.

“Don’t be too quick to start saying things just because you can. I’m sure you don’t take photos of your mum and dad/brothers and sisters together all the time. that doesn’t mean they’re not acting like your family” Marua answered.

Bahati says he lost Ksh 6 million while trying to manage artists at EMB

Gospel singer Bahati has come out to share that he has lost a lot of money at EMB Record while trying to manager artists.

EMB has been on a spiral downfall of late and the singer has been working hard to try and do some damage control as artist after another started leaving.

Losing money

On Wednesday, the gospel singer relaunched the label and named Danny Gift as his new signee. In an interview with Kiss 100 after the event, the singer confessed that managing artists is hard and he has lost a lot of money in the process.

Six million to be exact.

“I lost 6 million when trying to manage my artiste and even execute a project. A song could cost me Kshs450-500,000 but fewer returns and it is okay. So in the midst of it all, I spent a lot,” he admitted to Kiss 100.

Interestingly, Bahati had confessed that EMB is not a business but more of a ministry several weeks ago. Why is he changing tune.

“EMB entertainment is a business which wants to raise people, actually it’s more of a ministry because it doesn’t make money from the artistes. So if money is not involved you cannot fall out with anyone. We are still building and it’s time for another artiste (to be signed),” he explained during an interview on Mambo Mseto where he addressed his apparent beef with Mr Seed.

Wife to Bahati’s former manager reveals more ugly details about Bahati: He’s broke and a pretender

More trouble for singer Bahati who has been having a tough week after friends, who have now switched to enemies, ganged up to throw dirt on his name.

Mr Seed’s wife Nimo, started the week by exposing the ugly side of Bahati, saying that he conned her hubby.

Bahati took to his platform to share several videos with a lady who crossed several counties to get to Nairobi so that she can get a chance to show her skills to Bahati hoping to get signed.

Bahati explained that a reason why he doesn’t like helping upcoming artists nowadays is because they are very ungrateful.

Fake

Wife to Gospel singer Bahati’s former manager Mtutua tuks however, has called Bahati a scam, saying the singer is as fake as they come and not close to the person he portrays to be.

Brenda Mvungi took to social media to defend her hubby saying that Bahati has always ran to him when he was broke but has never paid him.

“Am not here to talk about any msanii am here to talk about the truth na natetea my husband @mutuatukshe is very humble helpful hardworking soo inaniuma kuona how people can pretend nkt ….we we @bahatikenya ukijua umesota unashindanga kwangu kutafuta mutua ndio akupatie strategies za kupata sponsors na doh tena when Mutua umekuwa ukimkujia kila November when you know show yako iko December ndio akuhelp with great ideas coz everyone knows how yeye ni poa na ideas na deals…” read one of her posts.

She added:

“Mutua alikuchukua ukiwa class three ukaenda kuishi nao kwao huruma …and they took you in as one of them soo stop talking about ungratefulness coz pia wewe wazazi and people walikusadia and discovered you haujawai waheshimu hata kidogo. Kazi yako ni kudisrespect watu ukisemanga unawasaidia….Si after Mutua amekumanage ukapata jina ulimfukuza na ukachukua doh yote na ukamwambia utamrudisha mathare place alitoka but since Mutua ni mpole akakusamehea …but jua am here for him am his helper am his rib so ukipreach your fake ungratefulness sermon jirudie kwanza. Mutua ako na mtetezi Si kama io time he was alone I love him and I can die for him ….na io tabia ya ukikosana na MTU unaanza kumuongelelea vile yeye ndio mbaya ndio watu wakuhurumie uacheeeeeeeeee..” read Ms. Brenda’s other posts.

Singer Bahati releases statement trying to prove he’s not a bad guy: I help artists a lot

Gospel singer Bahati has come out to try and clean up his image regarding ongoing rumors that he is an arrogant guy and uses his artists.

A lot of artists have been complaining about Bahati especially, after fellow singer Mr Seed ditched his record label. Bahati on social media posted several posts sharing a story of a young lady who traveled all the way from Mombasa to get a chance to be signed.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bu1i7mzneBy/

Ungrateful

Bahati claims media had painted him in bad light whilst he had sacrificed a lot just to get some of the artists to where they are today.

“Most of these artists I support, I meet them in conditions of life you cannot reveal. Some are even homeless. The fact is in Kenya, when you hear someone has been signed it’s not really a signing but it’s just like taking the position of a parent in their lives,” he explained.

He went on to add that he has helped all kind of artists but in they end, they don’t show it.

“One of the things I’ll tell you now is according to the records as I write this, there’s no single artist signed under EMB that is not owed by EMB a few millions (and I actually forgave them because saying this in the most humble way, none of these can pay me because music takes time to pay),” he went on.

“I love Bahati no matter our age difference” Diana Marua continues to defend age gap

Over and over again Diana Marua, wife to gospel singer Bahati has defended their six-year difference saying that it means nothing in their relationship.

The 31-year-old it seems, hasn’t answered the question enough times, and keeps addressing it over and over again. In a recent interview, Marua insisted that settling for a younger lover hasn’t changed her feelings for him.

She was asked if the age difference bothers her as Kenyans keep trolling her over the issue to which she vehemently denied.

“What do you mean if it bothers me Bahati is younger than me? It does not bother me, all that matters is that I love him, period,” Diana said.

Trolls

Marua was recently trolled by Kenyans who claim she’s manipulating her 25-year-old husband. This is after she allegedly arm-twisted Bahati into calling police officers on a pregnant Nimo, Mr seeds’ wife during New Years party in Thika.

Bahati finally addresses rumors that his record label is crushing down: it’s more of a ministry because it doesn’t make money from the artistes

Bahati has given a rather unexpected explanation regarding recent flying rumours that his record label is crashing after several artists left.

Last week, fellow gospel singers Mr Seed and Weezdom left his record label EMB after internal wrangles. A promoter also accused Bahati of conning him several thousands while starting the record label. Speaking to Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Bahati said that his record label operates more like a charity and doesn’t focus on making profits from artists.

“EMB entertainment is a business which wants to raise people, actually, it’s more of a ministry because it doesn’t make money from the artistes. So if money is not involved you cannot fall out with anyone. We are still building and its time for another artiste (to be signed),” Bahati said.

Fatherly spirit

He added that despite the ugly controversy that has surrounded him and his label, he’s happy that he’s still able to change lives through it.

“I can say this confidently, God has given me the grace to uplift others. To support a new artiste, you need to pump in money, to make a good video you need money. At that time when an artiste is starting out you cannot make it a business, you need a good heart for your artist to prosper,” he said.

Regarding Weezdom leaving EMB, Bahati shockingly revealed that he wasn’t even signed by him in the first place.

“Weezdom wasn’t signed officially, Weezdom is a friend, I have a fatherly spirit,” he said.

Wewe endelea kutafuta shisha! How Bahati is planning to become a billionaire before he clocks 30 years

Gospel singer Bahati is only 25 years old but has achieved so much as a young man and he’s hoping to triple that in the near feature.

Despite the controversy the singer has been swimming in the recent past after singer Mr Seed, who was signed to his label EMB, terminated his contract, the singer says he has gone back to schools to learn about management so that he can take his label further.

“After God blessed me with a company and amenifanya CEO, I have to go back to school. Lazima nijue a lot sana. Kama saa hii nafaa kujoin Strathmore in a few days nianze course yangu ya Management and Business. Because I am also a businessman,” he said on Mambo Mseto.

Hitting a billion

He also revealed his dream of hitting a billion shillings by the time he hits 30 years old. How will he do that? By investing heavily in music and in real estate.

“I want to be a billionaire by 30 because we have been in a situation where no one valued our music and no one believed that you could be rich through music. That is why I am tapping into things people haven’t tried before. I dared to launch a record label when it was viewed as non-profitable. I want to try new things and with that, get more knowledge. As I work on music I am also dealing with property,” he said.

More Drama for Bahati as man comes out to accuse him of coning him 500K

Singer Bahati is in more controversy as another man has come out to claim he’s a con artist.

According to the man who goes by the name Clay Onyango, they started EMB records together Bahati later pulled out in between claiming that he was misusing the name.

Here’s what Onyango told Mpasho:

“Hi guys , my name is Clay Onyango a Music promoter in Sweden. I also have a story about Bahati that l want to share. Some 2 years ago we agreed in going into partnership between my label World Music Promoters and EMB , so we agreed to build a Studio in Membley in a mansion he got. I paid the deposit and l started investing money in building the studio. When the studio was complete Bahati moved in and started Working while also recording some artists. So one day he calls Me and he is like , l understand u Are going around telling people that This studio is yours, l Dont think l wonna Work With you. Calculate how much money u have invested and send Me your account Nbr. I did that and it has been one year now. The amount is almost 500 K and Bahati does not respond to my calls. Am sending u some photos of the studio and some photos of Me packing some of my stuff from the studio.” he said.

Accusations

The accusations comes just days after Bahati and Mr Seed have been in a lock down because of money issues. Mr Seed has accused the young singer of not paying him for shows they did in December.

Here are the photos Onyango sent:

Mr Seed’s wife reveals that the Bahati’s called police on her: It was surprising the incident happened

Mr Seed’s wife Nimo Gachiri has finally opened up about the incident that made his hubby leave Bahati’s label EMB.

Nimo, speaking to Y-Mashariki TV host Ken Relbis, said that it’s true someone from Bahati’s team called police on her during New Years Eve party.

She didn’t mention who exactly did it but fellow gospel artist Ringtone I guess already did that part for her when he came out to say Diana Marua did it.

“When your friends or people you thought are your friends betray you, you will definitely be bitter,” she said.

Betrayal

Nimo made it clear that the reason why they had to ditch Bahati and his team was because of the betrayal.

“I have maintained a stance that the past is the past. It was surprising that the incident happened. Neither me nor (Seed) knew anything about it. That’s why you saw Seed put up the post saying he respected him and he remains friends with him (Bahati),” she further disclosed.

Watch: Bahati using hot video vixen in new song bring mixed reaction

Gospel singer Bahati and Willy Paul are among most criticized artists in the gospel industry in Kenya. But we don’t blame fans for that. The two are always into “ungospel” lifestyle which doesn’t relate with many Christians.

Bahati has just released his new song “‘Nyota” which has him singing about being in debt to Jesus who died on the cross for him.

However, fans don’t really understand why he had to involve a video vixen in the song. The act left many wondering whether the song was about the girl or God.

Not a hit

“A good song but you don’t need to have that lady she’s bringing confusion to the theme of that good song,” said a fan on Youtube.

“Baha lakini young gospel artists acheni kwenda mkitoka kwa maandiko sana, mnajaribu kubadilisha gospel inakaa secular like.stick to one side, review songs za hapo mwanzo na saa hii.” another one added.

“For me this is no!!!!!! You can do better than this jameni wimbo nimeusikiliza buttt noooo!!!!!!! ???”

In general, the song which was shot in South Africa, has failed to impress his fans despite the quality shoot.

Gospel singer Mr Seed ditches Bahati’s record label, insists there’s no bad blood between them

With a baby on the way and perhaps things toughening up, gospel singer Mr Seed has left Bahati’s record label, Eastlands Most Blessed (EMB) after two years.

His move comes a year after fellow singer Weezdom also left the label just a year after placing his signature on the contract papers.

On social media, Mr Seed gave a long explanation why he has left the record label saying that he wants to give upcoming artists a platform.

“After 2 SUCCESSFUL YEARS being signed under EMB records i have FINALLY DECIDED to go INDEPENDENT and be MY OWN ARTIST for the sole purpose of paving way for other YOUNG AND COMING ARTISTS that BAHATI has been taking in that needs more the platform and support that EMB have offered to me and can offer. I also in return would like to NURTURE OTHER UPCOMING ARTISTS for it has been a DREAM FOR TOO LONG NOW to do something about the TALENTED YOUNG ARTISTS that need that just one push to realize their dream,” he posted.

Still friends

Seed also assured fans that there’s no bad blood between him and Bahati and in case any conflicting stories arise, he will address them directly.

“ME and BAHATI still remain BROTHERS and ill always wish him the VERY BEST IN EVERYTHING HE DOES. If there will be other STORIES that will RISE UP I will address them to everyone coz am already getting words on the streets that are not pleasing to my ears☺ ..anyways WE START YEAR 2019 ON A HIGH NOTE,this year we make more MOVES and WIN MORE SOULS…continue watching the space and continue supporting me as I push this GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST .. 2019 IS MY TIME!! #STARBORNEMPIRE.”

Bahati confesses how marriage has changed him big time

Ever since gospel singer Bahati and model Diana Marua exchanged vows, things have really changed and the singer isn’t ashamed to accept that.

In a recent interview, the singer shared that having a baby and settling down with Marua has made him a more focused and responsible man.

“Imenisaidia sana kuwa more responsible. Thinking jioni uko na watu wanakuangalia unafeed so imenisaidia sana kukuwa more responsible more focused. At times naangalianga Heaven pia nasema I have to live right because right now I’m in the public hizi vitu hazijifuti zinajiweka,” said Bahati.

Humble

Bahati also revealed the secret that has helped him stay humble despite his recent success. According to the singer, he’s focused on helping and inspiring guys who look up to him.

“I wanted to be different but majorly my drive was to inspire and you can never inspire when you cannot connect with your people and you can never connect with your people when you cannot come down to the level ya kila mtu.

“Knowing the reason why I started this ndio imenisaidia sana kujikumbusha I need to be humble, I need to reason with people, I need to listen to everyone. I always take my fans kama my bosses, just knowing your calling inakufanya ukuwe humble,” he said.

Stop copying Otile! Fans lash out at Bahati after releasing new song

Singer Bahati has a new song called “Diana” a dedication to his wife Diana Mwarua. The song comes after the two lovers “broke up” in an episode of their reality show Being Bahati that airs on NTV.

Kenyans however, are not happy with Bahati after he released the song and are claiming that he’s copying Otile Brown.

Sorry

Bahati begs for forgiveness in the song after annoying his wife, a thing that made many compare it with Otile Brown’s latest release.

“Niko vitanzi na moyo, Baby. Zaidi ya yote kumbuka Jana. Unasongo, mi nasonga, moyo unakataa, kinachonitia wasis wasi ni cha kuwambia kanisani. Na sijafeli, nina Imani moyoni, ulivyobeba virago, Kanisahau mie, na ukambeba mwanangu, amwite nani daddy?, Diana, Diana, wangu Diana, Niskieze Diana” sings Bahati.

Abel Mutua buys multi-million German machine(photo)

Creative Abel Mutua has been in the industry for almost a decade now and he has a lot to thank God for.

Refereed to many as the king of content, Mutua is best known for his creative work on Real Househelps of Kawangware and Hapa Kule News. His very first gig  was on Tahidi High which has seen him get many other shows.

It’s seems the hard works is finally paying off and the producer has now bought himself a brand new Mercedes Benz E250 that cost is in the Kshs 3.5 million.

Hard work

Bahati was recently in the news for also buying a similar car which is now becoming a favorite among entertainment industry crowd. The ride comes packing a Panoramic Sunroof, faux leather interior and is also not a weakling under the hood pumping a neat 201 horsepowers to the wheels.

Previously, Mutua confessed how working hard almost killed him.

“In total, between 2010 and 2012, I earned approximately Sh200,000 a month because I was also acting and doing camera work.  After four years of constant writing and acting, I collapsed in the bathroom one evening from sheer exhaustion and I knew it was time to take a break. I’d overexerted myself. I felt I had nothing left to give so I quit my job, which some thought was very stupid and some thought was very brave.” he said.

Bahati reveals multi-million house he’s currently building (photos)

Gospel singer Bahati has shared for the first time a look at the house he is currently building.

Bahati, who married model Diana Marua and together were blessed with a kid, is now looking to settled down and build a home for his family. The singer on his TV show recently shared a glimpse of the house he’s building at an undisclosed location.

Bahati was at one point homeless and lived at ABC Children’s home after his father ditched him and left him to fend for himself when he was just seven years old.

“Leo niko happy sana, I feel so blessed. Ninapeleka wife kuona our first house, inamaliziwa pole pole,” he said on his show Being Bahati.

After years at ABC Children’s home, Bahati then reconnected with his step-brother who took him in after his father passed on. He was in class 8 then.

Now he’s a self made man and is building his own house.

“I had been living in ABC Kenya Children’s home in Kariobangi, until I learned of the passing of my father. I was in Class Eight. Somehow, I managed to attend the burial and it was after this when my step-brother took me. He is the only family I have ever known of,” Bahati told Pulse Magazine.

As expected, Kenyans reacts to Bahati’s new reality show on NTV and it’s not pretty

Kenyans were eagerly waiting for Bahati’s new show “Being Bahati” after it was announced a few weeks ago that it will premiere on NTV this past Sunday. And when it finally aired, Kenyans rushed to social media to give their take.

Many weren’t impressed.

Can do better

After airing the first episode, many claimed were not sure what the reality show is all about. The show had a cameo from several artists who spoke about the gospel singer and his family but a few Kenyans begged the singer to make it more creative.

Here is what guys had to say:

Victor Mochere….This thing #BEINGBAHATI is total crap. So NTV have reached a point that they are so desperate for viewership and money that they can air any trash that is thrown at them. Ideally, even Akothee could have done a much better reality show. I prefer even to watch cartoons. NKT!

Anerlisa explains why Bahati rushed to meet her days after she toyed with Willy Paul

Like we always say, where Bahati has been, Willy Paul is on his way there. And if Willy Paul has been there already, then it means Bahati is on the way.

Willy Paul recently joked around with Keroche Breweries heiress and Executive Still Water CEO Anerlisa Muigai on social media which left many  watching the two to see what follows.

It seems Bahati was among those following too.

Explain

The singer recently visited Muigai at her office, a thing that left many social media users eager to know why the two were together. As expected, Muigai offered an explanation saying the meeting was totally business related.

“Unfortunately in life you either gain or lose people. At my position I don’t favor who to come to my office especially you artists or because I remember so and so have issues together. I am in the business world and that does not exist. #LifeMovesOn,” she said in a post on her Instagram page.

Jalango come see! Bahati collaborates with yet another secular artist

An unambiguous characteristic of a cat is that it meows. And one of the most important pointers of a gospel artist is that he/she makes gospel songs.

But what if the cat meows sometimes but always hangs around dogs?

That’s what fans have been debating for a longtime regarding singer Bahati who once in a while releases gospel songs, rejects gospel nominations, hangs in clubs sometimes and most of all, collabos with secular artists.

Long list of secular collabos

The singer was recently in Tanzania for a collaboration with secular artiste, Mbosso. The song, dubbed “Futa”, joins the long list of  secular collbos the singer, and his friends Willy Paul have now worked on.

Unlike Bahati, Willy Paul was glad he was nominated and asked fans to vote for him. Bahati doesn’t want much association with Groove awards.
