Be very careful with that man! Kenyans warn news anchor Wanuna after Atwoli confessed his admiration for her

Kenyans were recently on social media to give Sophia Wanuna, the KTN news anchor, some unsolicited advice after Central Organisations of Trade Unions (COTU) boss Francis Atwoli’s poured out his heart saying how he loves her work.

Sophia was hosting the COTU boss in an exclusive interview on KTN’s Checkpoint show when he abruptly expressed his admiration for her.

“I listen to you Sophia. I am a fan of KTN. I am your fan, in particular, you as Sophia. Let me tell you, I listen to you carefully,” Atwoli insisted.

Kenyans however didn’t like his statement. Many were quick to warn Wanuna to stay clear from the man or else, she might end up becoming his fourth wife.

Last year, Atwoli’s relationship with another KTN news anchor Mary Kilobi hit the headlines and Kenyans claimed he’s pulling the same moves he did on her.

Here’s what Kenyans said:

“Hahaha this guy knows how to execute his pick up lines on a lady. Sophie count yourself in,” one tweep commented.

“Sophia Wanuna that man is dangerous…he can just look at you and you become pregnant if he winks automatically you become his latest wife.”

“careful Sophie I am sure he likes you there is nothing like being your fan.”

Atwoli: If my wife fails to show up on Rhumba night I will get another woman for the day

The Central Organization of Trade Union (COTU) boss Francis Atwoli is excited over labor day celebrations that will be held on May 1. He plans to have fun since respected Rhumba artist, Nyboma Mwan’dido, will be in town and will grace the celebrations at Uhuru Park Grounds.

The boss shared that he’s super excited and want his wife to be present for the event. But in case she doesn’t, he won’t sit back and watch others enjoy the night. He’ll get another woman to enjoy the night with.

“It will not be a joke. I will be there literally dancing, and if possible I am going to convince madam to be with me on that particular day. If she sleeps, I will get somebody to take over on that day,” Atwoli vowed.

COTU’s statement

Earlier on COTU released a statement  confirming that the Rhumba star will grace the event.

“Renowned Congolese musician Nyboma Mwan’dido arrives in Kenya on the invitation of COTU-Kenya. The musician will entertain guests during Labour Day celebrations,” read a statement from COTU.

Soukous has been in Kenya since April 22.
