Many still young and in their vibrant years when trial and error was the ‘thing’. At times having to move with the waves other times, making decisions they thought were final.

Each trying their skill in different arts, ambitious that they will eventually get there and with enough practice, they would achieve their dreams.

Some whose careers took them in a totally different direction, and looking back, it looks like a crazy dream.

Ben Kitili DJ career

KTN senior news anchor and proud father of two, Ben Kitili shared his journey with online fans, telling a story many never heard about.

He puts up a throwback photo of himself back in the day when he was convinced enough that being a DJ was his calling.

Spotted at an undisclosed location, spinning the disk and headphones in place, Ben Kitili was living his dream.

Pretty young and much slimmer clad in those baggy jerseys, Kitili had already even branded himself ‘DJ Flipp!’ as he captions;

“Back in the day when I was so sure I wanted to be a DJ. #TBT”

Well, friends who could recall the journalist’s ambitions back in the day, questioned what happened to his dreams, that unfortunately never became a reality.

A question he is yet to answer but memories that remain to linger in his mind.

Meanwhile, Kitili and his wife, Amina Mude have been in quarantine after the mother to his kids tested positive for COVID-19 early in November, forcing the couple to mark their second year wedding anniversary indoors.

The Kitili couple has been forced to celebrate their 2 years wedding anniversary locked up at home due to COVID-19.

November 16, 2018, Amina Mude walked the isle to say ‘I Do’ to the popular KTN News senior news anchor, Ben Kitili in a colorful star-studded wedding ceremony.

Two individuals from completely different religious backgrounds decided to break their cultural barriers to make their dreams together, come true.

The unfortunate incident

It has been two years since and still counting, but the couple had to do it all indoor following a COVID-19 situation.

“Our journey isn’t perfect, but its ours and I’ll stick with you till the end. Happy anniversary Ben Kitili❤,” a dear Amina Mude sweetly penned.

Before her hubby decided to spill the beans, with a photo he took with his wife distant in the background, while openly admitting;

“Celebrating our second anniversary at home in-quarantine because rona is real. In sickness and in health but #NoKissingBaby????????”.

“This thing is real. Be careful out there -but if you get infected, the virus is very much beatable,” his post continues.

Eventually raising eyebrows wrapping up;

“Shout out to all the healthcare workers out there putting their lives at risk for us.”

Kitili’s long post raised speculations of a possible infection in the family, though failed to clearly disclose who.

Before going public to admit through a tweet, that it has been difficult on him especially the children.

Fans took to the comment section to wish his beauty a quick recovery and a happy anniversary.

A never seen before photo of Amina Mude in a swimming pool looking very chubby and nothing like her, has left fans disturbed.

Ben Kitili’s wife has time and again talked of her long battles with weight gain soon after childbirth that transformed her into a chunky figure that caused her depression.

But this is not until she unearthed a throwback photo of herself weighing 105kgs, in swimwear that left her looking like a plus-size model.

“I was reluctant to post this photo but why not? This is for anyone struggling with weight, am here to tell you today that its possible. You just need to decide and start”  she opened up.

A photo of her that left fans in shock, that this was once Amina Mude who looks nothing like her as we speak today.
