The radio industry remains highly lucrative in Tanzania, with numerous celebrities showing interest in joining, and Ali Kiba already actively participating.

In December 2022, Diamond’s longtime manager, Sallam Sharaff, also entered the business by launching his own radio station, Mjini FM.

The launch of Mjini FM, with SK Salam as the managing director, sparked rumors of a rift between him and Diamond. Tanzanian blogs speculated that Diamond was displeased with SK Salam’s move to start a competing station, suggesting this as the reason they hadn’t been seen together recently, contrary to their usual pattern.

SK Salam later clarified that their public absence did not reflect a lack of communication, dispelling the rumors of discord.

Diva the Bawse discloses her affair with Alikiba during his marriage.

Renowned Tanzanian media personality Diva The Bawse has revealed details about her past relationship with Bongo Flava star Alikiba, which unfolded while he was still married to his Kenyan wife, Amina Khalef.

Diva, currently employed by Alikiba’s rival Diamond Platnumz as a radio presenter on Wasafi FM and TV, disclosed her clandestine love affair with Alikiba, which spanned many years, dating back to her tenure as a presenter at Clouds FM.

Despite their deep bond, Diva and Alikiba managed to keep their relationship concealed from the public eye for an extended period.

“Alikiba and I shared a profound connection, which is why our breakup was so tumultuous. We were compatible in many ways, allowing us to keep our relationship discreet for years,” Diva confessed.

She clarified that she had been involved with Alikiba even before he met his Kenyan wife, Amina Khalef, with whom he recently ended a troubled three-year marriage.

“I was with Alikiba before his marriage. Our relationship was covert and hidden. However, when he got married, our romantic involvement ceased,” Diva revealed.

One of the factors contributing to their split was Diva’s reluctance to settle down with Alikiba at that juncture of her life.

“I wasn’t ready for marriage then, despite his proposal. I was young and not prepared to be a wife,” she explained.

Following Amina’s divorce filing in 2022, Diva and Alikiba rekindled their romance, assuming that he was now single. However, Diva learned that Alikiba had not completed his divorce proceedings with Amina.

“When I discovered that he was still legally married, I decided to end things. I made it clear that I had never been Alikiba’s mistress,” Diva affirmed.

Diva asserted that Alikiba reacted angrily to her decision to leave him due to his lack of transparency regarding the divorce.

“This pattern repeats itself in my relationships. Whenever I try to end things, I face opposition and attacks. If I persist, I am met with hostility,” she lamented.

Having moved on to a new relationship, Diva stated that she no longer harbors any romantic feelings for Alikiba.

Ali Kiba launches “Crown Media,” expanding his business

Tanzanian music icon Ali Kiba has expanded his business ventures by successfully launching his media company.

During a star-studded event over the weekend, Kiba inaugurated Crown Media, which includes both a television network (Crown TV) and a radio station (Crown FM). The media company aims to not only establish a presence in traditional media but also leverage digital platforms and innovative technologies.

Kiba, already celebrated for his musical achievements, revealed that his foray into the media industry was influenced by his personal journey. He acknowledged the significant role that media played in shaping his career and credited it for his rise to stardom.

Recalling his early days, Kiba emphasized his close connection to his radio, highlighting its profound impact on him. “Media is a powerful tool,” he affirmed, “It transformed me into the Ali Kiba of today. I couldn’t go a night without a radio, much to my father’s chagrin.”

Reflecting on the challenges he faced, Kiba expressed his motivation to address issues within the media landscape. He traced the beginning of his journey back to 1986, marking the birth of his dreams and ambitions communicated through the medium of his voice.

About a month ago, Alikiba, the head of King’s Music Records, shared insights into his artist management philosophy. Contrary to assumptions, he revealed that securing a collaboration with him is not a straightforward process for artists under his label. Alikiba stressed the importance of self-awareness and individual recognition for artists before seeking collaborations with him. He emphasized the need for artists to establish themselves and understand their potential before exploring collaboration opportunities.

Reflecting on his commitment to nurturing talent at King’s Music Records, including Tommy Flavour, K2ga, Kusah, Vanillah Music, and his brother AbduKiba, Alikiba reiterated his focus on artists who value personal growth and recognition in their craft.

Alikiba’s Ex-girlfriend Madeleine Reveals Reasons For Their Breakup

Alikiba’s ex-girlfriend, Madeleine, has finally disclosed the reasons behind her breakup with the Bongo Flava artist in an interview shared by Carrymastory on YouTube.

Madeleine revealed that she ended her relationship with Alikiba after realizing that her perception of him was entirely different from reality. She explained that Alikiba frequently accused her of various things and even told her that she would never succeed. It was at this point that she decided to call it quits.

“Niliingia na nikaona kwamba the situation is very different. Kwamba nilikua accused verbally, niliambiwa you will never make it,” Madeleine said.

After their breakup, Madeleine revealed that she discovered Alikiba had numerous girlfriends and even had a wife.

Upon sharing her experiences with Alikiba, she mentioned that many women contacted her, recounting similar incidents they had faced while dating Alikiba.

Based on the responses she received, Madeleine reflected on her decision and believed she had done the right thing, as it’s not acceptable for someone to treat women in such a manner.

Madeleine’s story is a reminder of the importance of being aware of red flags in relationships. If you are constantly being criticized or made to feel inferior by your partner, it may be a sign that you are in a toxic relationship. It is important to remember that you deserve to be treated with respect and love.

Diamond Platnumz reveals he had King Kiba’s wife first!

The long-standing rivalry between Tanzanian music icons Diamond Platnumz and Alikiba has taken a new and bitter turn. The two artists have been exchanging barbs on social media, with Diamond Platnumz even hinting at having a past relationship with Alikiba’s wife.

The feud began in July when Diamond Platnumz declared that he was about to release a string of hit songs and warned other artists to steer clear. This declaration did not sit well with Alikiba, who responded with a cryptic message urging his fans to wait and watch.

The latest jab from Alikiba came in the form of a tweet, where he appeared to take a shot at Diamond Platnumz’s vocal abilities and compared him to a “fake Quavo who needs voice training.” Alikiba also advised Diamond to invest more in vocal training and creating a good production team.

In response, Diamond hit back with a lengthy message. He called out Kiba for cheap music videos and implied that his productions were not on par with his own. He also claimed to have surpassed Alikiba in various aspects, such as subscribers, listeners, awards, and social media following.

However, things took a dark and personal turn when Diamond hinted at having a past relationship with Alikiba’s wife, Amina. This particular statement received backlash from fans, who condemned Diamond for involving family matters in their feud.

Amina expressed her displeasure with the situation through an Instagram post, urging Diamond to respect family boundaries. She wrote, “It is absurd, malicious, and ultimately weird involving innocent humans in conflicts/grudges condemn the high level of disrespect on women. Without feelings of respect, what is there to distinguish men from beasts? Human decency is inviolable!!!”

The feud between Diamond Platnumz and Alikiba has divided fans, with many calling for a more peaceful resolution to their differences. Both artists have a massive fan base and have played significant roles in shaping the Tanzanian music industry, making it even more crucial for them to find a way to coexist harmoniously.

Diamond takes low blow shot at Ali Kiba’s wife

Fans have criticized Diamond Platnumz for including Alikiba’s wife Amina Khalef in his dispute with Kiba.

Kiba was criticized by Diamond for being less successful in the music business than him and for allegedly having a romantic relationship with his wife.

Usiongee maana habari yangu hadi na Amina nadhani unayo….”

Usiongee maana habari yangu hadi na Amina nadhani unayo….”
His social media fans were not pleased with this, claiming that Diamond should have only fought Alikiba directly.

Fans of social media pundit Mange Kimambi have criticized Diamond for his slanderous remarks against Alikiba’s wife.

“…Mkome Amina kama ulivyokoma titi la mamako. Unataka kumwaribia msichana wa watu maisha yake kwa ukutafuta kiki?…..Uwe unaangalia na wanawake wa kuwachafua…… Huoni hata huruma kumwaribia heshma yake mwanamke anaejiheshimu,…………hivi unajua kuwa umemtia doa yule mwanamke? do you realize that??”

Diamond rubs Ali Kiba’s face in Zuchu’s beating him

Diamond Platnumz, who was assaulted by singer Zuchu, is now outside smiling and making fun of his longstanding foe Alikiba.

With his song Sumu featuring Marioo, Alikiba narrowly defeated Platnumz to become the most popular musician on YouTube in both Tanzania and Kenya.

King Kiba, however, was unable to accomplish so because his song only managed to place second on the trend.

Diamond responded by making fun of him, claiming that the reason he wasn’t able to reach the target amount right away was because he relies on other people to write his songs.

“Dah yani licha ya kurisiti mtihani lakini  bado mmepigwa tena na Zuchu®…halaf Katoto ka watu.

Hakajafanya interviews wala ata Party … tatizo mfalume nawe umezidi sana kuandikiwa skuizi. Ungejitungia zako tu kama unavyofanyaga, mbona watu wanapendanga tu vile, anyways basi Enjoy na Honey. This is Wasafi,”

Diamond had received a warning from King Kiba to be ready in case he was overthrown from the YouTuber chats.

“Vigoma vyote binafsi vilivyotoka July, vimeshakalishwa, soon tunamalizana na kigoma cha kuazima!

Wanetu twendeni juu pale!! #Sumu,”

Ali Kiba Comes Clean On Allegations Of Refusing To Sign Divorce Papers

Tanzanian singer Ali Kiba and his Kenyan wife, Amina Khalef, have been making headlines for their marital woes.

The couple’s marital problems came to light when Amina took to her Instagram stories to express her frustration, accusing Ali Kiba of holding her hostage by not signing the necessary divorce papers.

In response to the public outcry, Ali Kiba addressed the situation during a media briefing in Kenya, asserting that signing the divorce papers shouldn’t be a problem. However, in a recent twist, he seemed to have shifted his stance, implying that Amina may have been going through a rough patch when she made the public post.

Declaring it a personal matter, Ali Kiba emphasized that their marriage affairs are not everyone’s concern. He alluded to the common notion that there are certain days of the month when women may be more prone to disagreements, irrespective of how peaceful the relationship is.

He suggested that exercising wisdom in such situations is crucial while living with them.

The unfolding drama has left fans and followers wondering about the true nature of the couple’s relationship and the reasons behind their apparent struggles.

Amina Khalef has filed for divorce from Ali Kiba, alleging infidelity and abuse. A Kadhi’s court in Mombasa has given the Tanzanian singer 15 days to respond to the suit, failure to which the case will proceed in his absence.

According to court papers, Khalef said she was filing for a suit because she was not getting a safe environment at their home in Dar-es-Salaam. She also alleged that Ali Kiba had been unfaithful to her and that he had been physically and emotionally abusive.

Ali Kiba has not yet responded to the allegations made by his wife.

Ali Kiba exposed in love triangle

A controversial love affair between Tanzanian singer Alikiba and wealthy businesswoman Niffer has left his wife, Amina Khalef, distraught and in the public eye.

After Niffer posted an intimate video with the singer, sparking rumors of a love liaison just days after Amina criticized him for denying her a divorce, the debate broke out.

Alikiba addressed the raging controversy last Friday in an effort to put an end to the rumors. He adamantly denied any romantic involvement between them and claimed Niffer was just a friend and business associate.

“Niffer is my good friend. We do business together, just like any other person,”

His inadequate defense, nevertheless, did little to convince the doubters. Alikiba callously disregarded the question when asked if he would approve the divorce papers his wife had provided, adamantly claiming that no one should care about his marital matters.

“My marriage life does not concern everyone. But at the same time, you know women have five days in a month of arguing with a man. Once those days are over, they are okay,”

Alikiba furthered gender stereotypes by asserting that disagreements and conflict were a necessary component of all relationships.

“It’s true that you can’t live with women without arguing. Even over small things. That’s why we’ve been told to use wisdom while we live with them,”

Amina Khalef’s brave choice to reveal the alleged mistreatment and contempt she allegedly experienced during their marriage was followed by this scandalous affair. The Kenyan-born wife pleaded for help on social media, detailing the suffering she had experienced and lamenting how she had been treated disrespectfully in public while Alikiba was allowed to live his life as he pleased. She pleaded with Alikiba in her heartfelt message to grant the divorce so they could both go about their own lives. Amina, who is currently living in Mombasa, has discovered herself embroiled in heartbreaking conflict with cold-hearted and stubborn husband who seemed more interested in maintaining his good name than giving her the independence she so desperately wants.

Internet users are still divided; some criticize Alikiba for his alleged infidelity and callous disregard for his wife’s suffering, while others stand by him and uphold his right to a private life.

There is no denying the combustible nature of this debate, which has left a trail of broken trust, heartache, and unanswered questions in its wake, regardless of where one’s sympathies lie.

Diamond and Ali Kiba clash

Singer Diamond Platnumz and his old rival Alikiba are squabbling as they attempt to retake control of the Bongo Flava scene.

Following the release of new songs in July, the two celebrities have started firing salvos at one another.

Platnumz recently forewarned his fellow musicians that he will likely dominate YouTube trends through the year 2024.

Other performers joined the discourse as a result of the act, indirectly criticizing Chibu Dangote and declaring that they would compete with Alikiba for the same position.

Indirect criticism of other singers was leveled by Platnumz on Saturday after three of his songs reached the top three trends. And when referencing his collabo with Juma Jux, Diamond said,

“Nawakumbusha tu, hiyo inayotrend number moja hapo, ni Enjoy audio tu , haina interviews wala Maparty mfululu, ndio inafanywa leo. Chupa Liko kwa NJIA,

He was making fun of Marioo and Alikiba, who collaborated on the song Sumu and gave multiple interviews to promote it. And when King Kiba caught wind of this shade he responded saying,

“Maparty mafululu kama asemavyo bwana mdogo Kwevo, yanaendelea baadae pale Elements,”

That being insufficient, Diamond continued to boast about his successful use of his cleave plan to revive the vitality of Bongo flava.

If his fellow musicians mess up once again, he continued, he won’t “wake up” the industry again. He claimed that he will be obliged to give his media company his complete attention rather than his musical career.

“Atleast Game limechangamka sasa… na mashabiki walipo Wana #Enjoy … sasa

msiniangushe jamani, jitahidini kuitumia vyema nafasi mkizembea tena, kwakweli sitotoa Msaada Mwingine…Maana ntachoka sasa coz na mimi ni Mwanadamu ujue…ntaenda zangu kwenye Mambo ya Media… maana kule Wenzangu, Amsha amsha wanaziweza hadi raha,”

Both Diamond and Alikiba had release parties for their new songs on Saturday, taking use of the occasion to engage with their followers.

Ali Kiba’s ex-wife accuses him of being a “fake” father

Amina Khalef, Alikiba’s wife, has disparaged her husband. As he assisted his youngster in counting, the artist posted a video of the two of them.

When viewers reacted to the video, many called it charming.

Then, Amina shared Royce Reed, a reality television star,’s Instagram story, which appeared to be a dig at her husband.

“Not someone pretending to be a parent for one day out of 365 for cameras. Don’t make Thursdays turn into truth days.”

Only a few weeks prior, Amina had pressed the singer to sign the divorce papers.

Nimeona kuna haja ya kuaddress, | think hii inaenda kuwa too much!!! I am tired of being disrespected publicly huku watu wakiwa hawaelewi situation iliyopo’ katika kivuli cha MKE WA MTU!!!

“Nimeondoka kwenye maisha yako kuepuka maumivu, abuse na mengi, lakini mpaka leo HUTAKI kunipatia Divorce huku wewe ukiwa huru kufanya mambo yako na mimi ukinifunga katika kivuli cha MKE WA MTU, (In the name of Kulinda Brand as you said), Kindly nakuomba SIGN THE PAPERS ili nipate Divorce yangu kila mmoja aendelee kwa uhuru, Asante!,”

Diamond Platnumz, Ali Kiba and Harmonize might jump on a track together soon!

Yanga Football Club in Tanzania is reportedly planning to unite three of its biggest fans, Diamond Platnumz, Harmonize, and Alikiba, for a song together. The three artists have all been known to support the club in the past, and a collaboration between them would be a major coup for Yanga.

The news was first reported by the team’s information officer, Ali Kamwe, who said that they would be “succeeding in bringing together recent fan Diamond Platnumz along with Yanga’s long-time fans Alikiba also Harmonize to do a collabo of Yanga’s song.”

The announcement has been met with mixed reactions from fans. Some are excited about the prospect of seeing the three artists collaborate, while others are skeptical that it will actually happen.

Diamond and Alikiba have been frenemies for years, and they have had several public disagreements in the past. Harmonize also fell out with Diamond after leaving his record label, WCB Wasafi, in 2018.

However, if Yanga is able to pull off this collaboration, it would be a major moment for the club and for Tanzanian football. It would also be a sign that the three artists are willing to put their differences aside for the sake of their fans.

Ali Kiba Explains Why He Didn’t Promote Song With Willy Paul

Tanzanian star Ali Kiba has finally explained why he didn’t promote his song “Nishikilie” with Kenyan artist Willy Paul.

In an interview with Willy M Tuva, Kiba said that he didn’t receive any promotional materials from Paul’s team.

“You must send people you are working with material to post. I did not get promo material to push the song on my classic,” Kiba said.

Kiba also said that he didn’t talk to Paul at the time, but he did reach out to him later.

“But the song did very well,” Kiba said. “It has over 3.6 million views.”

Kiba also praised Bahati, saying that he is a very talented artist.

“Bahati is a very talented artist if given a chance he can do a lot of great things,” Kiba said. “He has shocked me with how he transformed during the song.”

Bahati said that he is not sure why the song with Kiba is not yet out, but he is hopeful that it will be released soon.

Don’t blame me for your failed m,arriage – Ali Kiba’s rumoured lover hits back at wife

Niffer, an entrepreneur from Tanzania, has spoken candidly about his relationship with Ali Kiba.

She claims that the two have been friends and adds that she wouldn’t want it any other way if given the chance.

Niffer discussed this with Millard Ayo in an interview.

” I am young and I have a long journey ahead. I do not know who I might end up getting married to that’s why I would not want to ruin another person’s marriage.

I do not know about his (Ali Kiba’s) marriage. We are doing nothing wrong.

I am not the reason their marriage is breaking. “

Niffer claims that, in contrast to popular belief, she and Kiba were close friends long before he rose to fame.

“Ali Kiba has a very big space in my life, He has played a big part in who I am today.

He is a good person to me. He holds 60% of space in my life.”

I love him so much and I respect him so much and wish him luck in all his business. He is a good person to me and to the society.”

According to Niffer, she once had an unintentional relationship with a married man, who she has since blocked after learning of his marital status.

Ali Kiba Explains Why It’s Hard To Maintain Marriage Nowadays

Tanzanian singer Ali Kiba has refused to discuss his private life on social media, regardless of the circumstances.

In a recent interview, Kiba was asked about the alleged woes facing his marriage. He dodged the question by talking about how love has changed over the years.

“People no longer understand the true definition of love,” Kiba said. “That’s why most relationships end as soon as they start.”

He added that in the past, people were more committed to their relationships. “Our elders had a lot of love,” he said. “They didn’t have the formula of having a first girlfriend, a second girlfriend, a third girlfriend, a fourth girlfriend, or a fifth girlfriend. In fact, even if that formula existed, few men could do it.”

Kiba’s comments come at a time when he is facing increasing scrutiny over his personal life. In recent months, there have been reports that his marriage is in trouble. However, Kiba has denied these reports, saying that his marriage is “stronger than ever.”

It remains to be seen whether Kiba will continue to keep his private life private. However, his recent comments suggest that he is not interested in sharing his personal life with the public.

He went on to blame failed marriages and relationships on fake love.

“Mapenzi ya uongo ni mengi, alafu ya mahaba ni kidogo sana,” Kiba explained

Ali Kiba Speaks On His Admiration For Kenyan Music

Renowned Bongo Flava artiste Ali Kiba has revealed his deep admiration for Kenyan music. Speaking to journalists in Nairobi on Wednesday, Kiba said that he was impressed by the songwriting abilities of Kenyan musicians and the meaningful messages that their music often conveys.

“I love Kenyan music and I love artistes who write their music,” Kiba said. “Before they could sing, but I prefer a well-written song that carries a good message. The improvement in their craft is why Kenyan music is now widely listened to.”

Kiba, who is currently on his Mahaba tour of Kenya, said that he was particularly impressed by the work of artists such as Sauti Sol, Khaligraph Jones, and Nadia Mukami. He also praised the Kenyan music industry for its support of young talent.

“I am afraid to mention certain artistes, but I appreciate those who can create exceptional music,” Kiba said. “The Kenyan music industry is doing a great job of supporting young talent, and I am excited to see what the future holds for Kenyan music.”

Kiba also spoke about the term “King Kiba,” which is often used to refer to him. He said that he never claimed the title for himself and that it was only bestowed on him by his loyal fans.

“I have never claimed to be the King of Bongo,” Kiba said. “That title was given to me by my fans, and I am grateful for their support.”

Kiba’s comments are a testament to the growing popularity of Kenyan music. In recent years, Kenyan music has become increasingly popular in East Africa and beyond. This is due in part to the quality of Kenyan music, but it is also due to the hard work and dedication of Kenyan musicians.

Kiba’s comments are also a reminder of the importance of supporting young talent. The Kenyan music industry is home to a wealth of young talent, and it is important to support these artists so that they can continue to create great music.

Ali Kiba’s first baby mama checks his side chick

Niffer, the singer’s purported boyfriend, has been criticized by Alikiba’s firstborn’s mother. Sameer, Kiba’s son, was born into the world together with his mother.

As she wished Sameer a happy birthday, Niffer wrote a message on Instagram. Mama Sameer disapproved of it and accused Nifffer of publishing her son without her consent.

“Ebu punguza speed kwanza?Kuna wenzio walikuja kama wewe saa hizi wamejituliza so chill binti. Yaani unaenda Kumpost mtoto wangu kama nani? Fans wake au shobo dundo tu.

Mkewe wake tu hajawai hata kwa bahati mbaya kumpost ila wewe binti mwenye shobo chafu. Alikiba please tell them to stay far na kijana wangu unanijua kivingine bro. Kiki za kijinga sitaki na ndio maana siongeangi chochote kile busy na mikumbalala yangu.”

She stated that none of the singer’s partners should anticipate Alikiba’s wife Amina posting photos of their son on social media.

Kiba, who was in Nairobi for a press conference to promote his new song “Mahaba,” said that he is not bothered by the rumours and that he is willing to sign the divorce papers if that is what Khalef wants.

“Signing the divorce papers is not a problem for me,” Kiba said. “If that is what she wants, then I am willing to do it.”

Kiba also said that he is trying to stay away from drama in his life.

Khalif has not commented publicly on the rumours.

It is unclear whether Kiba and Khalef will actually get a divorce. However, Kiba’s statement suggests that he is open to the possibility.

Alikiba explains his refusal to grant Joho’s niece divorce

Alikiba’s Kenyan wife, Amina Khaleef, recently asked him to sign their divorce papers, citing disrespect as the reason for her request. In response, Alikiba said that he is willing to sign the papers, but he wants to find a solution to the problem first. He also said that he does not want to mix his personal life with his professional life, and that he tries to keep his brand drama-free.

Alikiba’s statement is consistent with his past behavior. In the past, he has unfollowed women on social media who have been rumored to be his girlfriends. He has also avoided addressing rumors about his personal life in the press.

It is unclear what will happen next in Alikiba’s marriage. However, his statement suggests that he is willing to work towards a solution, even if it means signing the divorce papers.

Alikiba’s Wife Calls Him Out for Allegedly Refusing to Sign Divorce Papers

Amina Khalef, the wife of Tanzanian singer Alikiba, has called out the singer for allegedly refusing to sign the divorce papers. In a post on social media, Khalef said that she was tired of being disrespected publicly while she was “caged” in the shadow of being Alikiba’s wife.

Khalef said that she had left Alikiba’s life to avoid pain, abuse, and other problems. However, she said that Alikiba had refused to sign the divorce papers, even though he was free to do whatever he wanted.

“I am asking you kindly to sign the papers so that I can get my divorce and we can both move on with our lives,” Khalef said.

The allegations against Alikiba have sparked rumours that he is in a relationship with Tanzanian businesswoman Jenifer Jovin aka Niffer. Niffer shared a controversial video with Alikiba that has been interpreted as being intimate. Alikiba, who only follows a handful of people on Instagram, had only followed Niffer before his wife exposed him.

Niffer has not responded to the allegations against her. However, she did share a cryptic message on social media that seemed to address the situation.

“A woman who loves you will always think you are cheating on her because she thinks every woman sees what she sees in you. That’s how love is,” Niffer wrote.

The two have not confirmed nor denied the claims of dating each other.

The situation has been a source of much speculation and gossip on social media. Some people have expressed support for Khalef, while others have defended Alikiba. It remains to be seen how the situation will be resolved.

Alikiba Sparks Re-Union Rumours With Kenyan Ex-Wife

Tanzanian musical star Ali Kiba has ignited rumours of a possible re-union with his Kenyan ex wife Khaleef, after several months of being separate from each other.

Alikiba has gone public to wish her a happy birthday, insinuating there is a ray of hope for the fans that the two could have reunited or are about to reconcile.

Ali Kiba sent his Kenyan ex-wife Amina Khaleef an unexpected happy birthday message, which have warmed the hearts of his fans who feel perhaps there is no bad blood between the exes who divorced in 2022.

Alikiba posted a photo of Khaleef holding their son as he referred to her as ‘mama watoto’ in his caption;

”Happy Birthday to you mama watoto,” he wrote.

The news of their divorce was ignited by the wife Amina Khaleef, who had filed for divorce citing a number of issues that to her were irreconcilable. Even though fans tried to convince her to stay, she did not care and went ahead to push for the divorce.

Diamond Platnumz should be very afraid of Harmonize

Diamond Platnumz has been the face of Tanzanian music for a long time and I feel that is about to change thanks to one Rajab Abdul Kahali, known to you and I as Harmonize.

The two artists are cut from the same cloth and perhaps this explains why Diamond Platnumz devised all manner of tactics to frustrate Uno hitmaker’s efforts to exit WCB Records.

Harmonize

They appeal to the same audience and it would have been much easier for Diamond Platnumz to have him under his nose where he can sort of control and monitor what he is putting out.

But now that Harmonize is a free man having paid a Tsh 600 million – approximately Ksh 26.2 million – fine that was imposed on him for exiting WCB Records, Diamond Platnumz should be very afraid.

The truth is that Harmonize is a hard worker just like Diamond Platnumz and the fact that he had been working with the latter for so many years even before we got to know about him means that he has learned the ropes.

Diamond Platnumz

He knows what it takes to be at the top and he’s going for it. This is evidenced by his recently released 18-track album titled Afro East which features the likes of; Morgan Heritage, Khaligraph Jones, Phyno, Yemi Alade, Burna Boy etc.

The album is doing very well and it’s what everyone is talking about, including Diamond Platnumz himself as he took to Instagram to congratulate Harmonize for the huge milestone.

If you ask me, this album would not have been delayed if Harmonize was still at WCB Records because you are sort of not allowed to outshine the boss.

There was a time when the likes of Mr Nice, Matonya and Ali Kiba were the faces of Tanzanian music and I feel that a similar coup is happening at the moment and before you know it, Diamond Platnumz will be long forgotten.

Country Boy links up with Marioo on ‘Leo’ and we love it (Video)

Fast-rising Tanzanian singer Country Boy has released a new song with his country mate Marioo and it’s getting a lot of love from their fans.

The song titled Leo, which is a Swahili word that means today, proves that the two youngsters will soon give the likes of Diamond Platnumz, Ali Kiba and Ommy Dimpoz a run for their money.

To be honest, I fell in love with this song the very first time. I don’t really know why perhaps I just loved the fact that it was by Tanzanian artists who were not trying too hard to sound like Diamond Platnumz.

I can’t really say much about the lyricism. All I can say is that Country Boy has some dope vocals. He has this hoarse that you just want to keep listening to, gender notwithstanding.

Marioo

Marioo can also really sing. He also has a great voice that I am sure many ladies would fall in love with the moment they listen to him.

If we are being honest, I felt like this song had a weak hook or what other people call chorus. When they start saying ‘Leo nakubandika bandua’ it’s like they don’t plan to stop.

That said, I think this jam also has a great beat. It’s not too loud or quiet. I just love it the way it is and with time you just can’t resist it.

Watch Leo below and tell us what you think. Enjoy!
