Singer Akothee, a woman who many Kenyans have accused of using men to gain riches, has come out to bash women who think that going after material riches will make them happy.

On Instagram as usual, the mother of five posted a long post sharing why women need to have a direction and not just chase men around.

She wrote:

“MEN DONT REALY MEAN WHAT THEY WHISPER IN YOUR EARS WHEN THEY NEED SEX , THAT TIME THEY ARE LOST . LET THEM DO THE THEORY PRACTICALS IS IN YOUR HANDS.

“My daughters finish school , get yourselves stable before you think of having a family ! Never put your hopes on a human being , never see a man driving a big car then you decide to settle for him thinking he owns it , men do borrow their friends cars and houses to gain social class and lure women ! Settle with someone you love , loves and respect you as a woman .

Never base your love on material wealth you will forever be empty! How about you getting pregnant over night because you thought he has a big house ! Only to realise it was his friends and he has not even a penny to take care of you and the baby ? If a man ever blocks you after getting you pregnant! Block them too and imagine they dont exist ! Collect your life together and carry your pregnancy!its your own shit , you went looking for it ! Me as your mother I will laugh at you ????? if I see you chasing him around crying and throwing tantrums! But I will hug you and calm you down ! But I dont promise to baby sit Hell No , you won’t make me a grandma now! Ngojeni kidogo , zI wont stop putting on my bikinis for you ???

My kids don’t eat Ugali or Sukuma wiki despite how I work hard to get them- Akothee

Singer Akothee works so hard on her farm and makes sure that every year she gets a bumper harvest. The problem she encounters after that is that her five kids hate what she has harvested.

On Instagram, Akothee complained that her kids hate Ugali and Sukuma wiki. They Don’t touch the common mwananchi’s meal.

“I fear poverty and hunger , I hate asking people for money, for I have been there. last season I harvested enough maize because I planted them myself with 100% supervision. I was happy to give them out to orphanages /friends and relatives, I only kept 13 bags for me and employees, this time I have harvested 0 because I fell sick during the planting season & got tired of working for people,”she said. 

Works hard

“I Got admitted and the doctor told me to go slow or I will loose it ! It was a burn out nothing else! My children eat very little or nothing from all this hustle! The boys don’t even eat sukuma or Ugali! The girls don’t touch arega they say it’s heavy ! So why Am I killing myself for ungrateful people ? Why is the world killing my dreams DR.K ask me to sell everything in Afrika and retire in Europe , papa OYOO Says the sane but I HAVE A PERSONAL TOUCH WITH MY ANCESTORAL LAND ! I can’t leave my grandpa & grandma alone, how about my parents !!!?????? well today I am completely fed up , but I am thinking about it. 

Single mother Akothee lands lucrative partnership days after being mocked

Akothee has been insisting that success isn’t sexually transmitted but earned. The singer has been instructing single women to focus on their hustles and ignore derailers who will just end messing them up.

She proved she is one focused mum after she managed to land a partniship with top tours and travel Agency in Italy called that will see her Safari company double it’s customers.

“Successful partnerships with the greatest tours & travel Agencies in Italy Como . AKOTHEE SAFARIS TO THE WORLD , SAFARI KENYA.” she said on Instagram. 

Chasing deals

This is a deal she has been chasing for a few days now after concluding her Europe tour recently. A few days ago she posted saying:

What will the world be without Akothee wisdom? The singer has been taking to her Instagram once in while to share uplifting advice especially to women.

Free wise words

Akothee has shared yet again another long post asking women to invest in themselves instead of hoping a man will change their lives and make them richer.

“If I sat down in a corner sympathizing with myself , I would still be broke and sad, nobody would have liked to associate with me,for bitter people are worse than witches,” said Akothee. 

“Capital doesn’t have to be liquid cash, physical labour is capital on its own, get up and look for something to do. You are healthy with some brains , success will never come knocking at your door. Success is earned through hard work working smart consistency and discipline.

“Success is not hereditary, that why you see women dating rich men has only a lifestyle but with no investments, if they are thrown out or dumped they always start from zero, and even if they get half of the wealth, they won’t sustain it for long because it wasn’t their brain or sweat. Good day.”

Akothee promises to educate her late gardener’s son because of the love his father showed her

Singer Akothee has left Kenyans impressed after promising to educate the son of her gardener who passed away after a shot illness.

Akothee, who has several employees, took to Instagram to share that she will educated the son of her worker Jomba leaving her fans touched.

”R.I.P Jomba Jomba, condolences to Kaloleni people.I dont have much to say but just give me Jomba’s son, the one in Standard eight. I will educate him to the best of my ability. This is because of the love Jomba showed me. Receive my condolences, I am heartbroken. May God rest his soul in peace,” Akothee wrote. 

Grown attached

Last week, the singer confessed that she had grown attached to Jomba and that she had to go and visit him in hospital as soon as she learnt he was hospitalized.

Akothee when she had her Mzungu: I spent all nights alone in the name of being in a relationship

While many Kenyan women think dating a white guy equals a good relationship, singer Akothee disagrees. The mother of five recently took to Instagram to share how she found herself in a painful union when she had her mzungu boyfriend.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the celebrated musician revealed how the said baby daddy would openly cheat on her with different woman.

“He would even come back and tell me whom he slept with and how much he paid. The range was between KSh 1500 to KSh 2000, this disgusted me that I didn’t even want to see him naked to be precise. I actually know all the women he slept with and how they did it” Akothee wrote.

Too promiscuous

She went on to add that the mzungu had totally neglected her and the kids. He also became to promiscuous and was doing it now in front of her.

“When I stuck on a man who cheated on me from day one thinking I would change him ! My friend , he changed me into a bitter frustrated woman, I spent all nights alone in the name of being in a relationship, him coming back at 5.00 am hiding the remaining condoms under our bed . I could only hear wararwarawarawara,” she went on. 

“I would wake up so loose and tired with no strength, I didn’t want to ask in the fear of him leaving for good , but remember I was still paying my own bills , the only thing he did is to bring clothes from Thailand for his child.” 

Akothee sends beautiful message to her mother on Mother’s Day

Celebs around the world took to social media to celebrate Mother’s Day, sharing the pictures of their mothers in the process.

Singer Akothee took also the opportunity to pen a lovely message for her mum, who managed to raise 8 kids who are all upright both morally and financially.

She wrote, “Happy mothers day min Janeko, but mum seriously I am a mother too right now can I just be me and do me without you interfearing with my dress code? Don’t mind about people trolling me on social media those social groups are my clubs my life is #theirentertainment & that’s what keeps them going ??? they still troll me when I go to church as well.”

Akothee to daughter: When you get pregnant let me be the first to know

Akothee has seen the ups and downs life has to offer. She knows life is not easy but is trying all she can do to make it better for her kids. In a recent post, Akothee confessed being married at 14 years and narrated how life then forced her into such situation.

“We shall party yes, but remember you have a future to focus on, so consume what your body can handle my daughter, thank God you have a dot.com mum! During our days, we had to sneak and jump over the fence with clothes to change huko mbele just in the name of going to Nyatiedero, or stay in omega disco Migori from the day they tie the music to the date they untied it for the fear of going back home there were no phones,” she said. 

“So the day your parents will see you or hear from you is when you report back this fear is what made some of us end up with your father’s we just decided to settle in the fear of not going back home at 14 years of age but still got pregnant in the middle of the fear Monday is school @veshashaillan call me anytime you wanna go out my love!” 

She asked her daughter not to be afraid when in such a position and should tell her immediately.

“I will take a flight from Mombasa come hang out! Unless you want a ME time do it my love but do let me know with whom you are out just text! Yes mum am out with……. When you home, do the same just to make sure you safe. #Thatsbeingresposibleoveryourlife.

“If you have a catch, pliz introduce me so I know & when pregnancy checks in let me be the first to know my love , never hide anything from me mama, I am the final recipient anyway. Singer Akothee was recently forced to attack a fan after claiming she cheated on her Mzungu with an Arabian. The fan questioned whether the kids, Oyoo and Ojwang’s fathers are truly whites or Zanzibar-based Arabians and not half-white like they should be.

Savage reply

Akothee wasn’t happy with the question, she fired back with a ruthless reply that left many surprised.

“Akothee. Can I ask you? This two kids are cappuccino? I mean their father is mzugu? Really! Mbona wanalook like waarabu wa Zanzibar sio kama Wazungu! Au unadanganya wazungu kuwa hao ni watoto wao ? Look even colour zao jaman!!” the fan inquired in IG. 

Then came the harsh reply:

Pray for her family! Akothee mourning after losing two brothers

Singer Akothee is mourning after losing two family members.

The singer announced on Instagram that she lost two brothers in less than a week, one who was being transported after dying while in Nairobi and another perished in an accident when taking the body back home.

Found missed calls

The singer shared that she had switched her phone off only to find dozens of missed calls as family members tried to reach her. She asked her fans to pray for her after the tragedy since the two brothers were also orphans.

“Lord have mercy, Eeh I just switched on my phone and found 20 missed calls from my family , R.I.P OTIENO & OWINO, MY family has just lost 2 brothers from the same mother, OWINO out of motuary today and the car carrying the casket from Nairobi involved in an accident before arriving home , his elder brother OTIENO passed on today , we lost their father last year and their mother 2 years ago ! This is saaaad! Am really pained ! God have mercy R.I.P jokadera.”

Lucky Kids! Akothee shares how she has divided her land for her 3 daughters

Akothee posts on social media have always been unpredictable. One minute she’s posting twerking photos the next, she dishing out advice on how to achieve financial freedom.

The singer, who recently released her latest jam, “Oyoyo” featuring McGalaxy, spoke on how parents need to start giving their girl child pieces of land unlike what has been happening in the past where.

“I think it’s high time parents consider dividing land for a girl child just in case things don’t work out ! I Esther Akoth Kokeyo has divided land for my 3 daughter’s Each one of them has 3 acres ! As their birthday gifts as they graduate from being children, they can build their homes and develop the rest,” she said on social media.

She doesn’t want to spoon feed them

The singer also added that she won’t do much another than that because her daughters need to learn to make a living for themselves.

“I will not build houses for them that’s spoon feeding which is dangerous , I am investing in their education so that they get good background of having an independent mind ,get employed or self employment , save and build their homes ! Independence is the most expensive gift one can have!” 

Something she’s not telling us? Akothee hospitalized yet again

Singer Akothee has been taken to hospital yet again, just weeks after spending a few days there bedridden.

According to a post she shared on IG today at 5 am, the singer is in hospital but it’s not clear why. Just less that two weeks ago, the singer, who is almost 40 years now, was in hospital after suffering from exhaustion resulted by pushing her body to the limits.

“I, madam boss, the president of single mothers, is urging all women to get off their pity party and stand for their rights,” Akothee said then. “I shot the video at a time when I was meant to be in hospital and on bed rest for exhaustion. Never stop believing in yourself. My fans should expect more hits and entertainment. After all, my life, your entertainment.”

Now, just days after shooting her latest video,  Oyoyo, featuring MC Galaxy, the singer is on a hospital bed again probably for the same reason.

Ignored doctors

Doctors had asked him to take some time off but a stubborn Akothee chose to push harder.
