Akothee finally speaks after being accused of wearing ugly make up that made her look like a man

Singer Akothee was recently attacked for her bad makeup after winning the AFRIMMA awards.

The singer had just won the Best Female in East Africa Awards, but Kenyans were not impressed by her make up when she was receiving the awards.

Many fans, in fact, urged her to fire the person behind her make up because it was a disaster.

I had no time

Defending her looks, the singer said that she had only a few minutes to prepare or else she would have missed her highly anticipated performance.

She further asked Kenyans to stop bashing her and instead congratulate her for her award which she has brought home.

The singer took to social media recently to reveal that she doesn’t want a man anymore because relationships have been stressing her.

Akothee explains why she doesn’t like employing graduates

Singer Akothee has revealed why she doesn’t employ university graduates in her businesses.

Taking to social media, the singer explained that the problem with graduates is they want to be paid a lot because they have gone to school yet haven’t mastered the job.

“I am on the hang of the hover today , but must work, hey this lady has been working for me for 5 years , yet she came with 0 experience, she can do anything, from farm to cooking. The problem with young generation now, they are looking for an office to slay ,they want to be associated with big names , I don’t read CVS especially from graduates, full of rubbish , most of them I employed, cannot download what they have on papers to practicals ????????????????????, I am afraid some of them looks like they bought exams or someone sat the papers for them , as a parent I am worried ????????????????, I have employed more than 20 graduates that I had to release on the first month ????” she said. 

Experience

In another post, Akothee added that graduates demand huge pay yet lack the experience needed.

“Simply because the inexperienced ones also comes with big salary expectations and expect to be paid with zero job done, I have tried and failed with trying to provide opportunities, either you work to produce results or go home,” she said.

Akothee has been preaching a lot about women not necessarily needing a man in their lives. It seems that song has changed tune.

The controversial singer was recently on social media to post a rather confusing clip of her crying because she’s almost 40 years old and doesn’t’ have a husband.

We don’t know whether it’s her usual theatrics or this is  serious business. The mother of five announced her plan to be someone’s wife before 2020 and her fans quickly supported her.

In the video, she cries while her daughters are trying to soothe her.

Singer Akothee has been away for weeks but she’s now officially back in the country. The mother of five has been in Paris France visiting her Mzee and kids for almost a month.

She made a low key entrance back yesterday and didn’t waste any minute informing Kenyans she’s back once she got home.

Ezekiel Mutua refuses to apologize to Akothee even after Passaris’ push: It was cheap, immoral and demeaning

Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) chairman Ezekiel Mutua will not apologize to Akothee for tearing her apart over her explicit onstage performance.

Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has defended the singer who has been in host soup since last week saying that Akothee is allowed to do it because she did it in the right vicinity. Passaris asked Mutua to apologize.

“You owe @AkotheeKenya an apology because you insulted her & called her demonic. She didn’t do it in a school compound or perform for underage children,” she said. 

Immoral

Mutua on the other hand, said what Akothee did was too much and he’s even shocked that leaders think it’s okay.

“It’s cheap, immoral and demeaning for a grown woman to expose her private parts in public or gyrate for men in the name of entertainment. How sad that even our national leaders think it’s funny,” he said. 

Akothee has been ranting for the better part of the week since the condemning started, trying to justify her actions. According to the singer, she’ll do everything to ensure that she gets paid and is living the life.

Over and over again, Akothee has insisted she’s just a celebrity and not a role model to anyone so people should stop arguing that she’s misleading young girls with her on stage theatrics.

Akothee’s younger sister, Cebbie Coks Nyasego, has come out to defend the mother of five saying that she’s actually a good role model despite what Kenyans are claiming.

”To factor my opinion in, Akothee is a mother of five. Yes five beautiful kids who are growing and turning out as intelligent, respectful and disciplined with Akothee being their primary role model and environ. You’ll never find them disrespecting people clumsily as you all do. Trolling people and so on.Ready to attack others and throw derogatory words at others without a second thought of how strong words are and can hurt,” she said.

Akothee has been defending her acts vehemently since the saga happened last weekend. She has released several statements and rants insisting that no one should look up to her.

Coks said Akothee actually has proved very helpful in their family and has helped a lot.

“She’s a sister and a sibling to others. Twenty in number, she’s the first born daughter therefore so many look up to her. Despite all that, they have turned out to be well educated. Very very respectful and well mannered.

Akothee to bitter Kenya: Legs are there to be opened and I get paid for that

Well, If you are still in your feelings because singer Akothee opened her legs while on stage and went on to pose in very suggestive ways, she has a message for you: She doesn’t care.

The singer was for the better part of the weekend trolled, rebuked and shamed after a wild performance in Watumu. In an interview with Kiss 100, she said that that’s entertainment and she gets paid a lot of money for it.

“Legs are there to be opened and i opened them on stage where is the problem? I get paid for that. I am actually banking the money i made over the weekend. Kenya has got talent. Past that is noise. The government should nature talent and promote artistes. I am not a role model for anyone. Is government paying me to be a role model? A lot of people criticized the singer for the photos which were later turned into memes. She said that her hustle pays her good money and any person with a problem with that should call the police on her.

“If the government wants me to be a role model let them pay me. I built this brand for myself and that’s how I get to pay my children’s bills. Anyone who feels I am a disgrace should call police to arrest me. Where is dirty in that music. That was not for them, i was paid to do that and in euros. Meet the new singer Akothee has signed to her new label Akothee Empire

Akothee is spreading her wings and surrounding herself with new talent.

The singer has just her first artists who goes by the name Ziky Mtanah. The two already have a song out dubbed “Basi” which they have been going around media house promoting.

Tough life

But the story behind how Akothee met the Coast-based rising star Ziky Mtanah has more emotions behind it.

“Ilikua ni kwa station moja Mombasa. Madam alikua ameenda interview, nilikua nishawai fanyiwa interview hapo kwa hiyo station. Wakashare story yangu na mum. Mum ikamtouch akamwambia huyo mtangazaji anaitwa Chris, akamwambia nitafutie huyu kijana. Hata nilipopigiwa simu ya kwamba Akothee anakutafuta, ilikua mahali nilikua kwa mjengo nikifanya kazi ya mjengo. Nikaona simu inaita, naangalia hivi naona ni chris. Ziky Mtanah is an orphan earning just 200 bob before meeting Akothee.

“I was earning Sh200 a day to feed my brother and even record my music. When I met Akothee, she supported me so much to expand a business I was running selling vegetables, and I even moved from the Sh800 house I was living in,” Ziky said.

“Ngoma yake ilicheza kwanza nikapata goosebumps. Nikasema who is this, so Chris akaniambia ni msanii kutoka Mombasa. Ndio akanipatia story yake I got touched. I think I broke down in the studio,” Akothee said.

Akothee added:

“I wasn’t thinking of signing anyone because music is very heavy in the first place. For the record label it’s not for me to make money actually but just to bring and nurture talents because there’s so much talent down in Mombasa, I’ll tell you for free. There are people who sing better than Chris Brown or Beyonce but these guys first of all have no motivation, there’s nobody seeing them. People are looking at artistes who have already build a brand which is completely wrong. So when I went to the studio and heard his song and story, it really touched me and I said I’m gonna hold the hand of this boy. The challenge I’m getting about him that most Kenyan artistes don’t have is patience. He’s a very patient guy.”

The self proclaimed president of single mothers recently took to social media to share some of the demeaning things men tell women when they are not interested in them and, it’s really hurtful.

Doesn’t care about marriage

According to the singer, men told her different hurtful things but they have never broken her spirit. Akothee says that it is liberating that she now feels like she has the decision of  whether to get married or not despite he ugly past.

Akothee: I gave birth to my first child inside a toilet after hiding from nurses

Controversial singer Akothee made a rather shocking confession on her social media platform recently, saying that she delivered her first born in the toilet since she’s feared medical procedures.

The singer, who has five kids, revealed that when delivering Rue Baby, she was terrified and thought the baby would die from premature birth.

“Love at the first sight is when my daughter landed in my hands 21 years ago as a premature baby weighing 1kg ??? funny enough, I never wanted the scissors shit and nurses passing by my shit every time they went round , I was hiding in the toilet pushing the baby alone and monitoring the head ???so pushed till the water broke and I thought I gave birth to water ?? , I can’t forget the nurse who used the same red gloves for cleaning the ward! is the same she used to pull out my baby ?? , maybe there was not enough time to take it out and clean her hands because she found me in the toilet with the head half way out! scolded me like hell ‘ nyako inyuol e choo be wiyi ber ‘” she said.

The singer went on to add that she was a just but a teenager when she gave birth and Rue was among two other babies put in an incubator in the hospital.

“I never admired any ones baby who was born full term with 4kgs or 3 , definately my baby was not really looking like a human being with hair all over her body , but I loved her to death I was only but a teenager, there were only 2 immature babies in the incubator, the other one was a boy weighing 2kgs , but he dint make it , so he passed on after 1 week.

She added:

“The mother changed the game and said it’s my child who is dead and not hers, and that the nurses has played her while she was a sleep ! hey every baby has a tag with the mothers name’s and sex on both the records and on the mothers arms , this family left the hospital cursing every bit , I was so afraid that my baby won’t make it too , especially with the cureses ?? 4 months later I got discharged when we were weighing 1.5 kg GOD IS GOD See our miracle baby @veshashilan.”

Akothee recently took to social media to fire fatal shots at blogger Robert Alai just days after exchanging insults with blogger Cyprian Nyakundi.

What started as a simple invite for a business opportunity from Alai to Akothee later regenerated to a heated exchange on Instagram, with Akothee promising Alai “two minutes of fame on her wall”.

For a person who is used to spending almost six days in a week half naked, singer Akothee is going to have a tough stay after landing in Dubai for the first time.

On social media, Akothee shared that she had to sign a contract with Paul O, the CEO of Africa Festival, after landing because he wasn’t taking chances with her extreme dress codes.

In Dubai, you can easily be deported or even imprisoned for such a thing  and we all know Akothee with taking chances.

Akothee bashes friends for not showing support to her daughter

Singer Akothee has slammed her friends for not supporting her daughter who has organised an event.

Akothee’s model daughter, Rue Baby, has organised a charity event and had been mobilising people online to show up and support her.

She wanted guys to show up in the event with sanitary pads but was shocked when her friends failed to show up.

Akothee posted the event on her social media pages but was shocked when her friends too ignored her.

”People can’t even donate sanitary towels for KSh 60 bob to a girl child and we be making hair for KSh 10,000 and lashes for KSh 8,000 and alcohol for KSh 100,000 and you busy reminding me if I ever do charity!” Akothee said on social media.

Akothee went on to add that her friends might have deserted her but fans might still show up for the event regardless.

Who do you compete with in life? That’s the question singer Akothee has for you.

The singer recently took to social media to bash mothers who kill themselves while competing with young girls who have almost zero responsibilities.

According to Akothee, if you have kids, you shouldn’t have time to compete since you have a lot to do while the person you are trying to go against, has only one mouth to feed.

“At one point we were also girls before we became women ! So don’t try to compete with a lady without a child ! Remember she has one mouth to feed , she can take water and sleep! She can take all her time to decorate one corner of her house to post just to look organised ! She can buy and exchange different cars because the only responsibility she has is her , she can spend all her time jumping from one restaurant to the other or one hotel room to the other one plane to the other without thinking of going back home because she has no any other life depending on her ! She is walking with her kids on her knee ! So if you start competing or comparing yourself with such a person yet you already have mouths to feed may be 1,2,3,4,5 like madamboss , are you doing justice to yourself?” She said.

The singer then went on to advise parents to focus on their longtime goals other than just competing and gauging themselves with useless things.

Akothee before posting a twerking video: My kids have refused to drink alcohol even though they are 18 years

Singer Akothee is not happy that her kids are not drinking despite hitting 18 years old. While some parents are working day and night to see that their teenagers will never touch alcohol, the singer confessed that she hopes her three girls can drink.

“I personally introduce my children on this streets , they have refused to drink alcohol though they are 18 and above ???, the only crew that can’t release my nudes on social media.” she said.

Akothee doesn’t care what Kenyans think about her or her family. She told Kenyans in another post that she has the right to do whatever she wants because her family is not a family of pretenders. She then went on to post a few twerking clips, doing it with her daughters.

Akothee: Some women are dying to even have a broke baby daddy

In another weekly edition of catching up with Akothee’s rants, the controversial singer tells you why having a baby daddy, even if he’s broke, is a good thing and why all of her haters know nothing.

On instagram as usual, the singer took time to blast her haters, as usual, and remind them they can always press the unlike button as usual, if they feel she’s too much for them

Akothee hospitalized after collapsing at the airport

Singer Akothee is currently taking a rest after getting fatigued yet again. Fans have been wondering where the controversial singer has disappeared to after she stayed almost two weeks without posting anything on Instagram.

Her manager, Nelly Oaks, has come out to share that t Akothee is not on Instagram and missed the much awaited One Africa Music Festival in New York where she was set to perform on August 11 because of burning out.

“Good morning, due to public demand, first I apologize for all our fans in NYC, sorry we couldn’t make it past the airport as our vibrant lady got energy burn out,” said Nelly Oaks while informing fans. 

Relax

Akothee has now been hospitalized four times because of burning out after continually pushing herself over and over again. According to Oaks, she collapsed at the airport due to fatigue.

“She had difficulties a few days before the travel but we still had hope we were going to make it till hell broke loose at the airport. We sincerely appreciate your support and we shall make it up to you New York. Thank you all for your concern,” said Nelly Oaks.

 

Moral cop Ezekiel Mutua attacks 10/ 10 after hosting Akothee: It was a shame to see someone claiming to be a mother of 5 parade her nudity on TV

Moral cop Ezekeil Mutua was on another attacking spree after Citizen TV show 10 over 10 angered a section of Kenyans.

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO, who is not a fan of the show, attacked Citizen for hosting Akothee and “letting her show her nudity while young kids watched”. On Facebook he blasted Akothee  saying that she could have been better.

“Since Friday night, I have received numerous complaints from TV viewers regarding inappropriate content on 10/10 on Citizen TV hosted by Willis Raburu. Of great concern was the segment featuring Akothee but some viewers also say that some of the audience appeared like underage children. It’s not the first time we are receiving complaints about 10/10 and the infantile behavior of the Show hosts. It was a shame to see someone claiming to be a mother of five parade her nudity on TV as the Show host cheered on and urged the young audience to cheer as well,” said Mutua.

He went on:

“Yet, apart from the allegations of having underage children on the Show, it’s outside the remit of the Board as it comes past the watershed period (5am – 10pm). Obviously, media houses have a duty to uphold morals and professionalism in their work, but we all know that most journalists in Kenya lack creativity and think the only way to popularize their programs is by airing lewd and obscene content. Willis Raburu is such one character.The Board has proposed a raft of measures to protect children from exposure to premature sexual experiences on media. Last week we had the chance to share this with the Senate Committee on ICT and we are hoping to meet their counterpart in the National Assembly in the coming weeks, after which we shall push for an amendment to the law, including redefining the watershed period. “

“In the meantime, we continue to appeal to parents and adults in general to be responsible and guide the children on the kind of content they watch. Most of the challenges we have in society today, particularly the unrest in schools and bizzare incidents of homosexuality are as a result of the bad content kids are exposed to. It’s not just Citizen TV that’s a problem. We have issues with Churchill Show on NTV having a segment on children (Totos Corner), yet most of the jokes are of adult nature. Most media houses do not observe ethical standards and are out to make money at all costs. There’s need for concerted efforts to build a morally upright society. The media must set the agenda by observing the watershed period to ensure that content aired during prime time is suitable for family viewing. Let’s not trade our values for money!

Akothee encourages women to gold dig men

Controversial singer Akothee was recently on Instagram to rub Kenyans where they hate most. The singer and mother of five has been in the headlines several times mainly because of her Instagram posts which are always termed as explicit.

Well, she did it again after sharing a post encouraging women to gold dig without fear.

In the post, Akothee, who’s still abroad, takes a photo with a white guy telling Kenyan women he’s single. She then followed up the post with another saying that women who are already branded as gold diggers should just continue do it.

Akothee roasted badly by fan after attacking Kenyans

Not many are happy with how Akothee danced during her six-minute performance in London where the mother of five jetted for the One Africa festival.

After numerous trolls, the singer clapped back with a vicious message saying that some of the ladies attacking her are just jealous.
