Akothee’s message to Jalang’o after marring beautiful Taita bae

Singer Akothee couldn’t Attend Jalang’o wedding because she’s currently in the US. She, however, sent a beautiful message to him and his wife wishing the two all the best in their life.

Akothee, who has been a good friend of Jalango, said that she’s happy the two are settling down and teased him about helping her find somebody too.

“He who finds a wife , finds a good thing, behind every successful man there was a wonderful woman treasure her bro ❤❤❤, I am very happy for you , now we only have one assignment (me getting somebody too ????????) CONGRATULATIONS MY DARLING’S ITS IN ORDER ❤❤❤❤❤????????” Akothee said. 

Four years

Jalas wedded his love, Amina Chao who hails from Taita and works for telecommunication company, Safaricom Limited. The two have been dating for four years now and it seems they are just meant for each other.

Singer Akothee was recently in trouble over her dress code in parliament. The singer visited parliament in a very short skirt while pushing for her foundation something which angered many.

In an interview recently, Akothee confessed that she will still wear the same skirt in case she’s going to parliament again.

“Given a chance back, I will do the same dress code. What shocked me was the fact that people forgot my aim of going to Parliament. They started focusing on my dress code, which doesn’t feed anyone. The people I’m feeding right now in Turkana are actually walking naked. Why isn’t anyone talking about Turkana people who are hungry and naked?” she said. 

Legs

She further added that that the skirt wasn’t the problem it was actually her legs and didn’t understand why there was so much fuss around it.

“That was one of my best dress code. We got an email from the PA saying we should wear suits, I wore a suit. My legs are the ones longer than the skirt. If it was worn by another woman, that would have been a maxi to her. When I wake up, I dress according to the occasion.”

We all know how Akothee loves her daughters.

The singer has confessed more than once that her family is the most important thing to her. She loves them unconditionally and no matter how they sometimes fight, she knows nothing will ever separate them other than death.

Akothee’s daughter ‘secretly’ competing in Miss Universe Kenya

Akothee’s daughter Rue Baby has revealed that she’s competing for Miss Universe Kenya competition but hasn’t told her mum yet.

“Actually my mother doesn’t know about this. I didn’t tell her because I didn’t know I was going to make it this far. I am waiting for a good day, when I’ll sit her down and tell her that I’ve made it to this point,” she said.

Rue added that one of the reasons why she decided to be silent on this one is because many people claim her mum gets her into most of these competitions.

“I have seen many negative comments, saying that it’s my mother that got me into the competition. I have worked myself so hard and I’m also very competitive to get the crown. It is my hard work that has gotten me there. You see now my mother doesn’t even know about this,” she said.

“If I had it easy, then I don’t think I’d have conquered the challenges. I don’t have it easy. It’s very hard on my side. I have to go all out and be outstanding.

 

Ezekiel Mutua praises Akothee just weeks after shaming her for parting legs on stage

Kenya Films Classifications Board (KFCB) CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua has no problem with Akothee’s dress code.

Speaking in an interview with NTV, the popular moral cop said that though he was against her controversial performance, he likes her dress code and she should continue looking good.

“Akothee is a performer and she has to look good I have no problem with her dress code as she said her legs are longer than the skirt. You know Akothee is a superstar and she has reformed she looks beautiful,” he said.

His message comes just a few days after Akothee was kicked out of parliament for wearing a rather short skirt. Mutua said that he doesn’t have issues with people’s dress code but just their content.

“I will only have an issue with inappropriate content when it is displayed in the public. However, if such was in the privacy of their homes, then KFCB will have no business with it,”  he added.  

 

Akothee’s statement after being forced to borrow leso to enter parliament

Akothee has come out to say she’s a go-getter following her recent drama where she was denied to enter parliament because of her short skirt.

The singer was in parliament yesterday but couldn’t go in at first since her skirt was too short. She was given a leso to cover-up so that she could go in.

On her Instagram page, Akothee bragged of being some who always pushes for something and is not easily heartbroken.

“I have some driving force within me ! Telling me that we can change the status of Turkana???????? ! If one day I was poor and now riding high from choppers to 5 star hotels ! Why can it be impossible to change lives of only 800, 000 people? Yet we have more than 40 million Kenyans?” she asked.

She added that her desire to give back to the society is what is pushing her and that’s why she’s doing everything for her foundation.

“It is this desire to give back to the community that makes me beat the ends and odds, I slept hungry before , with no one to look up to ! Ooh sorry I dint even think of the dress code , I thought I was covered enough to present my invitation for the launch ????‍♀️????????????????I just imagined the 200 members of parliaments joining my initiative @akotheefoundation to find a solution,” she said. 

Adding:

“We cant keep asking for paybill and donating food every time. We need a parmanent solution

Akothee to her daughters: Thank you for not shaming me like I shamed my parents

Singer Akothee was on Instagram this past weekend to thank her daughters for not embarrassing her as she did to her parents.

We all know Akothee’s life story in which she got pregnant at a very young age. On social media, she thanked her daughters who are now in their early 20s for now showing her any type of drama unlike what she did to her parents.

“What a wonderful grow up as friends companion and agemates ! Thank you soo much for being disciplined children and giving me an easy time ! thank you for the jokes and happiness in our family ! At your age I was already a mother ! I ashamed my mother terribly both in church and at home ! Her agemates laughed at her which has not happened to me. Thank you once again my children,” she said.

Adding to that, the singer revealed that she now trusts her kids fully and isn’t concerned while she’s away.

“I will forever love protect and adore you . I am never worried while you are alone I know you are resposible
I wish all mothers would have a relatioship like this with her daughters
But please introduce me to your boyfriends once you have any , tell them not to worry ! I am a calm mother inlaw . Ujinga ndio sipendi.GOD BLESS THE WORKS OF MY UTERUS.” she said. 

 

 

Akothee paid to perform for Italian couple then compares herself to Micheal Jackson

Singer Akothee was recently on social media to brag about her recent performance which had her performing for an Italian family.

Taking to social media, the singer compared herself to legendary singer Micheal Jackson after performing at her friends’ birthday. The singer also bragged how not so many people have never done that in history hence she’s a legend.

“In history it’s only me and Michael Jackson that has performed for one person ! I am honoured I feel blessed !See my crowed jamming on a full band with stage and sound for 10, 000 people ! Say something,” she said.

She further added that the event was reserved for only a few who could afford 20,000 to reserve a seat and she hopes people will do that for her also when she hits 40 years.

Jalango and Akothee have been BFFs for a long time now. That is if they have never been much closer.

The two are tight buddies but Akothee is out to clear the air that they cannot go further than that.

Recently, she was spotted at a festival with Jalang’o, holding each other close and laughing out loud, before clarifying:

Well, just last week she broke news of her unanticipated pregnancy to Kenyans who if anything, were left perturbed. After all, so was she.
