Jacky Vike popularly known as Papa Shirandula’s Awinja has unveiled a never seen photo; taken back when she was struggling somewhere in her village – and boy does she look funny.

From the photo, it’s obvious to see that Jacky Vike was just another naive young girl trying to keep up with village trends; and from her caption – there are boys that couldn’t stop ogling at her fine looks.

You know her as Awinja but her real name is Jacky Vike. She is a household name thanks to her rib cracking character on Papa Shirandula. Like any other celebrity, the actress has had her portion of love. She reveals how she dumped her boyfriend in her previous relationship.

In an interview, the actress said that she got tired of her boyfriend repeating the same things that she told her not to do.

”Inafikanga mahali una feel, kwani nitashindanga nimejirudia? We’ve been talking about this thing like I don’t know how long… Hii ni makosa ile pia tunaangalianga ile ya maybe ata change… Mi sionangi nikama wata change. The same mistake inajirudianga tu.”

Ironically, Awinja says that she took him out for dinner before breaking up with him. However, she says that she can always apologize in a relationship whenever she’s wrong. In the same interview, she also opens up on how she was accused wrongly of being with someone else in a relationship. This happened to her in high school. During the discussion, Awinja admits that she has good male friends who she can never sleep with no matter what the situation is.

The mother of one got a role in the award-winning film Nairobi Half Life as a prostitute. Awinja says that on Instagram, she gets bullied over her ‘manly features’ and this is one of the few challenges she has to go through.
