Standard Newspaper Journalist Injured at Nane Nane Protests
A female photographer for the Standard Newpaper was today injured in the Nane Nane maandamano protests. She was filmed being rescued next to the Tom Mboya statue in the Nairobi CBD, where she was whisked to a nearby shop to recover. As she was being ferried across the street, she asked people to stop recording her and help. Here is the footage:
