Standard Media Group Denies Reports On STI Outbreak In Their Organization

Standard Media Group (SMG) has strongly refuted recent rumors of a syphilis outbreak within their organization and potential closure. Ken Mijungu, a news anchor, addressed these allegations during a news briefing on Wednesday.

“These are baseless rumors, intended to damage our reputation,” Mijungu declared, emphasizing the good health of SMG staff. He further debunked speculation about the company being sold or facing shutdown.

“SMG is a long-standing media institution,” Mijungu reassured stakeholders. “We are not going anywhere. Investor shares remain secure and actively traded.”

Mijungu urged the government, particularly Interior Cabinet Secretary Prof. Kithure Kindiki and Permanent Secretary Raymond Omollo, to investigate and address the source of these false reports.
