‘Some Of Us Work Hard To Run Away From Poverty’ Xtian Dela Shares Rare Throwback Picture (Photo)

Most popular and famous people have a story to tell about their childhood. In one way or the other, they have undergone hard times before getting a descent livelihood. For some, escaping poverty by all means becomes their ultimate goal and they would do anything just for that sake. Looking at some of the celebrities’ throwback photos, you’ll notice that through working smart, they were able to rise to the top.

One of them is Radio presenter, blogger and Youtuber, Xtian Dela, real name Aurther Mandela. The 31 year old has shared his throwback photos, when he never had shoes, terming it as a luxury back then.

”Shoes were a luxury growing up. Some of us work extra hard not because we love working hard, we do it coz we are running away from poverty. Running away from hopelessness and suffering. Giving up is not an option. Giving up is Canceled!! We don’t have the luxury of going back home like some privileged people. That’s what keeps us going!!
