“Sielewi Mavoko analalamika nini na pesa yetu haijarudi” Diamond’s manager claims Mavoko left before WCB got its money back
It’s not clear why Wasafi Record was hesitant to let Rich Mavoko go, apparently WCB is yet to get its return on investment.
Mavoko had to seek the help of Tanzania’s music and arts regulatory body BASATA to quit. It turns out WCB is yet to get its investment back since Mavoko signed a contract with Wasafi in June 2016.
Wasafi’s top honcho who also serves as Diamond Platnmuz’s manager – Sallam SK Mendez shed light on the label’s bone of contention with Rich Mavoko.
He’s not honest
Speaking during an interview on The Playlist on Times FM, Mendez claimed Rich Mavoko was not honest claiming that WCB was exploiting him.
Mendez reveals that WCB was the one losing since the label had not even recovered the money that they invested in Rich Mavoko.
“Mpaka sasa sielewi malalamiko ya Mavoko ni yapi kwa sababu ukisema sisi tunamnyonya mtu hicho kitu hakiwezekani alafu isitoshe pesa ambayo tumewekeza kwa Rich Mavoko haijarudi hata robo,” said Sallam SK Mendez.
