For a table of five, VVIP tickets cost Sh100,000 and include three bottles of alcohol per table, five complimentary mixers, unlimited water, a complimentary hookah, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a 5-star culinary experience, luxurious seating close to the stage, exclusive attendants, an exclusive bar, exclusive parking, and dedicated security.
VVIP tickets for a table of 10 cost Sh200,000 and include the same benefits as the VVIP tickets for a table of five, except that there are six bottles of alcohol per table, 10 complimentary mixers, and two hookahs. The only difference is that these VVIPs will not have an exclusive bar.
The Shoke Shoke Festival is a slang inverted wordplay on the Swahili word “kesho,” which means “tomorrow” in English. The festival aims to educate the youth on the importance of going green and drive behavior change among its target audience for a sustainable environment.
The inaugural Shoke Shoke Festival, held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, featured Nigerian musician Ayra Starr as headliner and a host of Kenyan artists including Khaligraph Jones.
