Sauti Sol Announces Return of Sol Fest for 2024
The popular Kenyan music group Sauti Sol has officially announced the return of their annual festival, Sol Fest, for December 2024. The event will feature two shows: a VIP experience on December 19 and a fan show on December 21.
The festival, which celebrates Sauti Sol’s music and legacy, will see all four members—Bien, Polycarp, Savara, and Chimano—reunite on stage. Joining them will be longtime collaborators Nyashinski, Khaligraph Jones, comedian Crazy Kennar, and several female artists.
Earlier this year, fans had the opportunity to influence the lineup by suggesting their favorite artists. While names like Okello Max, Lisa Oduor Noah, Neyo, Musiq Soulchild, and Angelique Kidjo were popular choices, the final lineup remains to be revealed.
Last year’s Sol Fest 2023, dubbed “The Last Dance,” attracted a crowd of over 15,000 attendees at Uhuru Gardens. The 2024 edition promises to continue this tradition with a luxurious VIP show and an accessible, open-air fan event.
Despite announcing their hiatus in May to focus on individual projects, Sauti Sol has assured fans that their bond remains strong. The upcoming Sol Fest is expected to be another unforgettable musical experience for fans.
