“I want to apologize for telling women to stay in marriages where there is infidelity. Wamama, tafadhali nawaomba mnisamehe. If things aren’t working, it’s better to leave while you still can,” she said. She added, “From today henceforth, if it’s not working, it’s not working—just leave.”
Back in November 2024, during an interview on Art of Living on KTN, Sarah had suggested that women should not end their marriages over cheating.
“But nowadays, I am telling women, actually cheating should not be one of the reasons we leave men or worry about our husbands,” she said, explaining that women should focus on “bigger things” and let men be who they are. She claimed that showing indifference could even make men more concerned.

The mother of two had also defended men who cheat, urging women to let them “have fun” if their actions were not life-threatening. “I’ve seen a lot of couples separating, and I feel it’s not necessary unless it’s life-threatening. If he’s just having fun, let him be,” Sarah stated.
Speaking on the Hey Girl Podcast with Eve Mungai last month, Sarah shared her belief that men who cheat still deeply love their wives. “Most married men dearly love their wives. If you’re a married woman and he hasn’t chased you away despite cheating, just know he truly loves you and wants to spend the rest of his life with you,” she remarked.
She further argued that married men often prioritize their wives over side chicks, pointing to politicians as examples. “They don’t leave their wives. They put their wives’ names on their investments, not the side chicks’,” she added.
