Ruto tells governors to keep their deputies busy to avoid incidences of them getting caught pants down in lodgings
Deputy president William Ruto has weighed in on the unfortunate incident that befell Kirinyaga deputy governor Peter Ndambiri.
Speaking on the last day of the devolution conference in Kakamega, Ruto said that idleness is the leading cause that makes deputy governors engage in bed activities.
“To avoid the great risk of the devil engaging idle minds in your offices, because you have kept your deputies jobless, is really risky. So please it is important that the relationship between governors and their deputies is worked out so that the devil doesn’t have the space to use any idle mind to drive any evil agenda,” said Ruto.
No one in particular
The DP absolved himself from appearing to condemn Kirinyaga deputy governor Peter Ndambiri in particular. Ruto said he was not referring to anyone specific.
