Ruto Defends Progress On His Promises, Says Transformation Journey Is On Course
President William Ruto has dismissed claims that he has not kept his promises, insisting that the country is on the right track to a better future.
Speaking to a joint sitting of Parliament, Ruto said he is committed to delivering on all of his pledges to Kenyans, and that the “PLAN” economic transformation agenda is already bearing fruit.
“The journey of transforming Kenya for future generations is well underway,” Ruto said. “From the first day, we have worked hard to move the country forward, despite challenges.”
Ruto’s critics have argued that he has failed to deliver on key promises, such as creating jobs and reducing poverty. However, the President has defended his record, pointing to progress on a number of fronts, including infrastructure development, agricultural modernization, and social welfare programs.
“We are making steady progress towards our goals,” Ruto said. “We are not perfect, but we are committed to working hard to build a better Kenya for all.”
Ruto’s speech comes amid growing economic challenges, including rising inflation and unemployment. However, the President has vowed to continue implementing his plans for economic transformation, even in the face of adversity.
“We are determined to create a better future for all Kenyans,” Ruto said. “We will not be deterred by the challenges we face. We will keep working hard to build a more prosperous and equitable country.“
