Radio Africa Group Set To Counter-Sue Shaffie For Breach Of Contract
Shaffie’s decision to take legal action of suing his employers Radio Africa has been levelled by the firm’s management. Shaffie’s lawyers had written to Radio Africa and claimed that the terms of suspension and termination of his contract did not match. The management had previously opted to suspend Shaffie and his colleagues, Neville and Dj Joe Mfalme. They later changed their decision and fired them.

Most people have since given their opinion on the issue. Shaffie and Mfalme were slammed for saying Kenyan women are too available and lose. They used the incident as their reference story.
Shaffie threatened to sue Radio Africa Group for unpaid Ksh 21 Million. However, RAG have now threatened to counter-sue him for Ksh 150 Million. RAG claim Shaffie breached his contract and made inappropriate comments on air (negligence).
