A GSU officer attached to the Presidential escort service is fighting for his life after she shot dead his girlfriend before turning the gun on himself.
Constable Samuel Njoroge killed his girlfriend Anne Wanjohi in cold blood after the lass turned down his marriage proposal.
The deceased, only 23-year-old at the time of her death, was a cyber assistant at Web Link Cyber Café at Braidwood House on Tom Mboya Street, opposite the Nairobi Fire Station.
Anne was shot five times on Saturday evening when Njoroge walked into her work place to confront her about the marriage proposal.
The GSU officer shot Anne after she rebuffed him at the cyber café, he threatened a few witness with the gun before he finally shot himself.
Anne’s sister Mary Wangare told the press that constable Njoroge threatened the deceased several times that he would kill her if she did not agree to marry him. They had only date for three months and Anne was hesitant to be his wife because she wanted to pursue university education.
Njoroge is currently admitted at the Kenyatta Natonal Hospital (KNH) where he’s fighting for his life.
