President Samia queries Diamond’s absence at Harmonize’s event.
On Saturday, Harmonize, the renowned Bongo star, hosted an extravagant event to unveil his fifth album at the Milimani City Hall in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
A multitude of distinguished guests, including notable artists, graced the glamorous occasion, which also saw the presence of President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

In her address to the guests, President Samia, the chief guest, lauded the singer’s album and acknowledged his growth over the years.
“I have been following Harmonize’s journey. I reminisced about Harmonize six, eight years ago, and witnessing his growth today brings me immense joy. He has truly matured,” remarked President Samia Hassan.
The Tanzanian leader also applauded other artists in the nation for their significant contributions and the strides they are making, recognizing the challenges they encounter on their paths to success.
“Many young people, like Rayvanny… Is Rayvanny present? Ommy, Dimpoz? Is Naseeb here? He’s not here… but many face similar challenges. Yet, they persevere,” she remarked.

President Samia had the opportunity to interact with Harmonize’s mother and commended her for her commendable job in raising him, a moment that filled Harmonize with pride.
Sharing his emotions about his mother meeting the president, Harmonize expressed his elation, describing the moment as a dream come true.
“Don’t pinch me, this feels like the sweetest dream ever to come true 005,” Harmonize posted on his Instagram alongside a photo of his mother greeting President Samia.
Harmonize had extended invitations to numerous prominent Tanzanians, including the country’s top singers, for the event. Although he invited his former boss Diamond Platnumz, with whom rumors of a feud have circulated for a long time, both Diamond and his primary rival Alikiba did not attend. However, his former colleague at WCB, Rayvanny, graced the splendid occasion.
The event could hold significant implications for the Bongo Flava industry if all the invited guests had attended.
