Police are appealing to Jackson Bambo, the husband of the late Ohangla dancer Sheila Odoyo, known as Sheila Wegesha, to surrender himself for questioning regarding her murder. Although considered a person of interest, authorities emphasize that he may not necessarily be the perpetrator and are urging him to cooperate with the investigation.

Efforts to locate Bambo have intensified following the discovery of a vehicle he used after the murder, found abandoned in Athi River. The car, a Mitsubishi Outlander, was found deserted in the Kencom area of Nairobi’s CBD. Bambo’s whereabouts are currently unknown, with his last known signal traced to Narok. Despite attempts to contact him, he has not reached out to authorities or his family.

The motive behind Sheila’s murder remains unclear. A postmortem examination conducted by pathologist Dr. Michieka Michieka at Shalom Community Hospital mortuary revealed that she died due to exsanguination, a medical term for blood loss. Following the autopsy, Sheila’s body was transferred to another facility.
