Planned Power Maintenance Scheduled for Tuesday, 8th October 2024

Kenya Power has announced planned power interruptions for various regions on Tuesday, 8th October 2024, to facilitate routine maintenance. The areas affected include parts of Tharaka Nithi and Kitui counties.

Tharaka Nithi County

Affected Areas: Nguruki, Muthande
Date: Tuesday, 8th October 2024
Time: 8:30 A.M. — 5:30 P.M.
Residents of Muthande, Kathareni, Nguruki, and adjacent areas will experience power interruptions during this period.

Kitui County

1. Affected Areas: Katulani, Kyusiani
   Date: Tuesday, 8th October 2024
   Time: 8:00 A.M. — 5:00 P.M.
   Power will be interrupted in Kathungi, Maliku, Kyeni, Silanga, Masoka, Ikave, Masimba, Kavisuni Primary, Kilevi Spur, Nthongoni Market, Kanyangii Market, Kanyongonyo, Zambia Market, Nguni, and nearby regions.
2. Affected Areas: Ngiluni, Mbusyani, Ungaatu
   Date: Tuesday, 8th October 2024
   Time: 8:00 A.M. — 5:00 P.M.
   Areas such as Kangalu, Kwa Muli, Ngiluni Market, Mbusyani Market, Ungaatu, Nguni, Maamani, Kavumbu, Break Corner, and adjacent locations will also be impacted.

Kenya Power advises customers in the affected areas to take necessary precautions during the scheduled maintenance period and regrets any inconvenience caused.
