Photos of Eldoret man who battered pregnant wife for three hours leaving her face completely disfigured

Valerie Masibo from Uasin Gishu county was left with a jagged face after her husband Nafatali Shamwala Lusuli savagely assaulted her all because of Kes 500.

The 29-year-old pregnant woman was brutally battered by her husband for three long hours over alleged misuse of Kes 500 that he had given her.

The husband was angered apparently because food was yet to be prepared by Valerie yet he had left her with 500 shillings to buy food and prepare.

Nafatali is said to have battered his wife on August 10th in Kipkaren. He was arrested as his wife was taken to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment.

Kes 300,000 bond

Valerie sustained facial injuries and had one of her ears almost chopped off. Meanwhile her husband on Monday August 13th appeared before chief magistrate Charles Obulutsa and denied assaulting Valerie.

The magistrate said the Nafatali can be released on a Kes 300,000 bond with a similar surety.
