One Christmas, Mwangi found himself in a club where a fight erupted, sending a bottle of alcohol crashing against the wall. Miraculously, the bottle missed him, an incident he attributes solely to God’s protection.

During that same period, Mwangi engaged in sexual activities with a woman who later succumbed to HIV/AIDS. He recalls the somber moment of burying her, a stark reminder of his risky behavior.

Mwangi’s subsequent relationship with another woman led to another tragic experience. He was informed that his partner had been infected by her sugar daddy, who also passed away from the disease.

Despite these harrowing encounters, Mwangi remained unaware of his own HIV status. On the following Valentine’s Day, he participated in a game with his friends, where the winner would be rewarded with a gift from a particular woman. Mwangi emerged victorious, only then realizing that he had been spared from HIV infection.

Overcome with gratitude, Mwangi sought a VCT (Voluntary Counseling and Testing) and was miraculously declared HIV-negative. He credits his preservation solely to God’s grace.
