Pastor Ng’ang’a Explains Ban on Female Congregants Wearing Trousers

Neno Evangelism founder, Pastor James Ng’ang’a, has issued a stern warning to female congregants, advising them not to attend church in trousers.

In a video, Ng’ang’a emphasized the importance of dressing appropriately for worship, stating, “I have told women not to come to my church in trousers. Do not enter here wearing trousers. I am tired of these issues. If you’re coming to worship, dress properly, not as if you’re here for other purposes.”

He questioned why anyone would choose to wear trousers to church, saying, “You leave your home knowing you’re going to church, so why wear trousers? From today, every member must improve their attire and take salvation seriously.”

Ng’ang’a also shared a past experience when many women left his church after he introduced his wife. “When I decided to marry, it caused a big issue in the church. Women are drawn to anointing and wealth, so when I unveiled my wife, around 700 women walked out,” he revealed.

Recently, Ng’ang’a also faced criticism after reprimanding his congregation for low offerings, expressing disappointment with the small contributions and questioning their sincerity in building altars for their families. “What is this? Is this what you bring for offering? You come all this way to joke when I’m here? I am the commander,” he said.
