Pastor Migwi cries uncontrollably while begging President Uhuru (Video)
Pastor Godfrey Migwi, the founder of House of Hope Church in Kayole, went live on Facebook on Saturday where he shed tears while urging President Uhuru Kenyatta not to ignore the plight of the poor.
Migwi, a former radio presenter, said he went through many challenges when he was young and it really pained him to see people, including elderly women, who woke up early in the morning to vote for Uhuru suffering.
“Uhuru is just sitting in State House, people are suffering because of corona and unemployment and he doesn’t seem bothered. People are sleeping hungry, others want to kill themselves,” he narrated.
Migwi revealed that he had received many messages from his followers about their problems and he was doing what he could do to help while the president seemed unbothered.
He also weighed into the Ruai demolitions asking why Uhuru was quiet on the matter yet some of the people who were now spending nights in the cold were given land by his father.
“He is also a human being like any other, he should have humanity. No one with a sense of humanity can evict people at a time like now,” he added.
Further, Migwi stated that he could not sleep because of the many things; that were going prong under President Uhuru’s watch and vowed not to be silenced because he is not afraid.
