Pallaso Dropped from London Show After Beating Up Fellow Singer
Pius Mayanja, better known by his stage name Pallaso, has been dropped from a show in London after a video of him beating up fellow singer Alien Skin went viral. The two musicians were scheduled to perform together on June 24 at the Purple Party at the Royal Regency in London.
Alien Skin said he was not willing to perform on the same stage with someone who had violated him. “I will not be performing at the Purple Party in London,” he said in a statement. “I cannot share a stage with someone who has beaten me up.”
Pallaso has taken to social media to apologize for the incident. “I am sorry for what happened,” he said in a post on Twitter. “I was wrong to beat up Alien Skin. I am deeply regretful.”
The organizers of the Purple Party have also apologized for the incident. “We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused by this development,” they said in a statement. “We hope that you will understand that we had to make this decision in the best interests of all involved.”
This is not the first time that Pallaso has been involved in controversy. In 2019, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a security guard. He was later released on bail.
It remains to be seen whether Pallaso will be able to regain the trust of his fans after this latest incident. However, it is clear that his actions have had a serious impact on his career.
